I looked up some 49 chopped plymouths and they are bad ass. Cant wait to see yours when you get done with your skills and tricks !! Just like the comet !!
The deconstruction process can be tedious on a big car build. Good thing the old cars are made of heavy, durable materials. The rendering looked fantastic‼️ 👍
Yea but back half is going 4 link so there’s that whole part gone. Then front idk what we are doing yet but definitely not stock. Whole car needs solid tube structure floor so we felt like the stock frame would just slow us down and be in the way. I wanted to use it. Also learned it’s very weak. I got a buyer lined up tomorrow for it for $200
1949 Plymouth is coming along nicely.
Thanks
Looking good
Thanks
Looking forward, to the progress on this one!
Thanks I’m stoked about it
got ole Troy on the channel!
That’s my dude!
That roof rake in the rendering is SICK🔥
Thanks that’s where we are hoping to be kinda
Making some Great Progress
Yesss sir 💪🏻
Chopping the top is gonna be entertaining. Channel may explode with this project.
Hope so. I think it’s a better all around project than the race car. It’ll take alittle time for RUclips algorithm to find the correct new viewers

You’re 100% right man and thank you
You got a rotisserie it’ll definitely help
No wont need one bc whole floor structure will be brand new. It’d be nice and mike offered his but I don’t think it’s really needed
Courtney there's a spring for those handles
Yea passenger side had one
@@ThePaintPaperHustledid it have one?
Yes
Cool 😎 ! Going to be a “ Gangster “ build . You to need to dress like Bonnie and Clyde when the car is debuted !
lol that would be pretty cool
Needs 4" chop. I chopped my 40 Ford sedan delivery 4 1/2" .
Think that will be to much with the floor being raised also
@@ThePaintPaperHustle Chop & channel works.

I do have to admit sitting that low the roof looks OK but f it chop it
Forsure! 😉
That is not a 49, Plymouth. 47 or 48. 49 is more boxy and totally different.
It’s an early 49. In 1949 Plymouth used up old 48 inventory and still titled them as 1949. If you Google it and read up on it you’ll find some info.
Also late 49-51 Special Deluxes were not boxy and totally different. They had just a few changes to them.
