Scene 1
The first video opens with DragonForce in the studio, the air electric with anticipation for their next masterpiece. As they tune their instruments and warm up their vocals, a mysterious package arrives, containing an ancient artifact that mysteriously fits into their retro gaming console. Curiosity piqued, they examine the artifact, its design reminiscent of relics from a bygone era. It’s an enigmatic piece that seems oddly compatible with the studio’s retro gaming console. In a twist of fate, a band member connects the artifact to the console…

the room is engulfed in a whirlwind of light and sound that hurtle them through the corridors of time, emerging in a world vastly different from their own-the realm of Angus McSix, where metal and magic reign supreme. The legendary Angus McSix and his band are preparing to face their greatest challenge yet. Initially, DragonForce and Angus McSix find themselves at odds over a simple misunderstanding, mistaking each other for foes.
You guys made his day when y'all invited him onstage to sing one of your songs. I noticed how excited he was when he performed with y'all. I say y'all should definitely collab.

I was sad when Thomas left gloryhammer. I prefer his more gritty vocals to the new singer. I'm glad he started his own band and kind of continued in that vein. I might be alone on this but I'm a bigger fan of this album than the new glory hammer.
They did him dirty and kicked him out, he didn't just leave. And i agree, It's definitely better than the new gloryhammer

Not only did Gloryhammer kick him out via freaking EMAIL, but leaked screenshots of a WhatsApp conversation showed some messed up racist/sexist shit. Turns out the gloryhammer and alestorm guys are kinda shitty. (I guess it's not a big surprise) so I dropped them completely. So pumped to have a new band with Thomas!

Tom/Angus has done great on every feature I heard of him. (Feuerschwanz (twice), Grailknights and Nanowar of Steel - look them up, thank me later)
Just get him as a guest vocalist and let him do his thing. No gimmicks necessary. Just let him go gruff and then let him go high.

Angus McSix should go on a quest to find a dragon to help him win against the powers of evil. Then that dragon should be DragonForce.
Well, DragonForce has more futuristic settings while ANGUS McSIX seems to go with fantasy.
A collab would probably need to focus on breaking dimensions, time travel or mess with timelines, story-wise. Either from the magical or sci-fi side.
Angus McSix has an old school He -Man feeling, that sort of weird mix of Tech and Fantasy. Calling him star lord of the Sixtus Stellar System sort of puts him in a universe with many planets. So him getting teleported to another planet, or caught up by a spaceship, or something else to get him onto a futuristic world, would probably work quite well.
Sci-fantasy setting 100%. Old Gloryhammer was that way too in the second and third albums. the moon of Titan turned into a fortress, Dundee is the center of an inter-galactic empire, fucking metal dragons as spaceships, and magic is super tech. And the third album features fucking spaceship submarines and nuclear missiles against undead eagle riding dark knights and a sorcerous necromancer.
Funny that I learned about this band Angus McSix just recently at a festival. They looked so over the top with the gold armor and stuff but damn that guitarist (Thalia?) can play and the singers voice is amazing. Usually that style is not my favorite kind of metal but they were so much fun at that festival. That style will probably stay some kind of niche metal because it’s just way over the top but who cares. A collab would be great. Two bands that don’t take themselves too seriously and are fantastic musicians. Most important thing for me if you do a collab: show that fun, show that irony.

Angus was/is gloryhammer - the maddening enthusiasm in the over the top character brought life to that band.
(and Master of the Universe is a great diss track by McSix!)

This is actually wild, I remember Angus' audition tape back in 2011 and thought he'd make a great replacement for ZP.

The singer used to be in the band Gloryhammer. Some group chat stuff between bandmates got leaked and... it wasn't pretty (racist and sexist things were said) so, he was kicked out.

Dragon force is the band that got me truly into music, and Thomas has been my fav singer ever sense i heard him perform as angus Mcfife back in Gloryhammer, i want this crossover immensely!

Absolutely do a collab! I've wanted to see one ever since I heard about the audition tape from an interview and looked it up. (it's actually in the recommended videos, lol.) From what I hear he loves doing them.
I see in my head the silhouettes of the two bands on top of two opposing Cliffs -Dragonforce on one side ... Angus McSix on the other. With a gap that opens up to a Huge drop in between where the bands are Just a few feet Out of Reach from each other.
Since Angus is always at war with the evil demon Sebulon, the collab should be about him recruiting you (The fierce Dragonforce Battalion or something like that) as soldiers in the war, and you could fight an epic battle together!
Love Gloryhammer, but they just haven't been the same since Thomas left. I was sad when Thalia left Frozen Crown, but glad to see her shredding again ... while riding on the back of a mechanical, fire-breathing eagle! 🤘

What you should do is select a newer or recently published fantasy novel that you both like and either do an entire album of songs either inspired by it, or taking the listener through the story. Too bad mine isn't published yet for you two to use mine.

That would be amazing if you did a video with Angus The story takes place in the dark forest, where the queen of the castle of pain and sorrow is holding SixCaliber, or somehow the evil queen got the sword so they need to recruit DragonForce to help get the sword back. They can use the flying mechanical Eagle to come pick you up. You can slay the queen with a big guitar solo, switching guitar players through the solo.

Well, they took a break from the greenscreen thing. The next two videos they released ('Laser-Shooting Dinosaur' & 'Ride To Hell') are in the early 2000s Newsgrounds Flash style.

So, the main singer for Angus McSix used to be the main singer of the band Gloryhammer who is… a band innit of themselves. A lot of their gimmick was both making fun of powermetal while making powermetal, and having a continuous story-concept discography across the four albums they’ve released, the most recent album releasing this year to pretty good reviews.
The main singer here was replaced for the most recent album, I’m not sure the reasons, but, Thomas winkler later helped found the band under the new label.
Gloryhammer themselves feature a lineup of Sozos Michael replacing as the MC for Thomas, Angus McFife(of whole there are canonically 13, hence Angus McSix as the band name,) Ben Turk as the old hermit Ralathor, Paul templing as the guitars and back vocals, James Cartwright on guitars as well as the Hootsman, a mighty barbarian(and god but that’s too much lore,) and Christopher bowes of alestorm and Michael barber of wizardthrone swapping places occasionally as the antagonist and villain, Zargothrax, the evil Wizard.
The over the top nature of the music is reflected into Angus McSix, which already a parody and satire of normal powermetal, feels like a obvious step forward into absurdity and irony.
For example, from “legends beyond the galactic terror-vortex,” gloryhammers third album, the songs “the ancient cosmic fires of destiny,” “enchanted laser jet pack” and “masters of the galaxy,” are seen in further irony departure in Angus mcsix’s album track names, “Master of the universe(where in he references leaving gloryhammer in the line “glory left my hammer,”) “Ride to hell,” and “Laser Shooting dinosaur.”
