Heiwa, I bought an all options yellow, with black interior, 1969 Boss 302 Mustang new from TASCA Ford in RI for $3867 and I still have it today. I've always maintained it to keep it in "showroom" condition. It's never been driven during winter months either because I live in the northeast USA.
This is a piece of machinery you could drive over and over and over again and NEVER grow tired of it… the sound of this thing sends chills up and down my spine. I wouldn’t change one thing about it.
I was 16 in 1970. I wasn't able to buy a car like this but got many a wild ride in my buddy's and spent many hours helping him wrench on it (he kept spare push rods in the glove box). I am grateful for that. : )
I bought a 1970 Mustang Boss 302 in May of 1970. Still have it and my shifter is a Hurst Competition Plus which only has 1/16th of an inch between 1st & 3rd gears. The shifter in this video has much more space between 1st & 3rd. Color-Grabber Blue. This car sounds sick!
My favorite muscle car. LOL I was yelling at the screen when I saw a car coming the other way, then I realized you're in the UK lol. Congrats on the trophy, Beautiful car.
Awesome thrilling memories of our pair of 70 Boss 302s, most fun cars ever, with that unmistakeable Mustang rumbling growl. Gives me cold chills! Thanks for sharing!!
In the late 60's early 70's, in my mid-late teens I had a Detroit News paper route that included a piece of 8 mile just east of Woodward. One day, I saw a pair of Boss 302 Mustangs, one blue and one orange, leave a shop building on 8 mile and come wailing past at full throttle. They went down to a Michigan turnaround, and went wailing back the other way. Turned around again and went back into the shop. Never saw them before that or after.
Very nice, l luv the classic Mustangs. We had a 68 when l was a kid. I still remember going to the drive in movies. Folding the back seats down, and watch the movies. Today l own a 2021 gt.
Lovely car, great video. Hope it goes to a good home soon; congrats on the fine restoration. Mom had a 69 with a 351 when I was a kid, can't afford one myself, so I just bought a 2006 GT 5 speed, and she's fun. Calling her Jeanette after my mom.
My favourite model year:1970. Grabber Orange is one of the best colours too. This particular car is beautifully and properly restored as well. The only reason I have never bought one is they are LHD. Luckily, being an Aussie, I have a great range of 1960's and 1970's Aussie Ford muscle cars in the Falcon GT 2 and 4 door classics to own and enjoy, so I'm well sorted.
I had the 1972 Ford Maverick Grabber 302 4 Speed, it was Green and the thing was so light I'm surprised it didn't fly. To this day I regret that I sold that Green Machine as we called it.
This video is awesome the car is awesome a great example of American muscle along with the Corvette great color Great sound great presentation no words need to be said great job 💪😎👍🇺🇲
I had the same identical car. All Boss 302 Mustangs had defective pistons from the factory. The piston skirt were a little to long, after a period of time they would crack & small junks would fall off.
Thing sounds really good, you dont get that sound through flowmasters. Sounds like it has a true chambred exhaust like chambred power sticks. Do you know what it has for mufflers?
Some of the very finest looking lines to ever come out of Detroit; even with only a glorified moped engine under the hood. Only good for low 14's from the factory.
Have always had a soft spot for the 1969-70 sports roof Mustangs. My first car, purchased in 1973 was a 1970 Mach 1 in lime green metallic with rear window slats and a deluxe white interior. It had the base 351W engine with an FMX automatic. It wasn’t that fast but it was a real looker. Have always felt the ultimate Boss Mustang would have been the 351 Cleveland Boss engine in the ‘69-70 Sports roof body. It was an awesome engine that was wasted in the bloated and ugly 1971 body. Just my opinion of course.
I agree, Ford missed an opportunity to build what could have been the ultimate Detroit muscle car, the Boss 351 motor in the 69 70 Mustang body would have been a world beater.
I used to own one back in the 70s same year same color boss 2 but in a Elinminator. Anyone remember that one by Mercury? I regret till this day that I sold it!
I owned an orange '70 just like this car in '74...bought it for a song in the middle of the Arab Gas embargo. They are good running cars but a 350/350 camarao will beat you, the 302 doesn't have much torque for street light racing. The Mach I with the 351 Cleveland 4V with simple mods is a much staronger engine. What always makes me chuckle about the '69 and '70 restored Mustangs of today is that they all have the rear window louvers and the rear spoilers...back in the '70's I never saw one with either. They were not popular options at all but over the decades everyone seems to think they are now cool so everybody adds them.

I absolutely adore the sound of old mustang engines. Such a low and deep tone. I bet it feels awesome to drive it in person as well.

This is how you make a car video. No annoying music or talking. Watching this puts you really close to the feeling of driving!

The POV drive video is so catchy... one feels the engine eager to rev, and the sound is a symphony. Such cruise literally charges our human battery!

GORGEOUS STANG . 😃👍🏻...... No new Mustang will ever look as good as these year fastbacks .😊
My favorite muscle car. LOL I was yelling at the screen when I saw a car coming the other way, then I realized you're in the UK lol. Congrats on the trophy, Beautiful car.
I was the proud owner of this exact same model, color and everything. The sound puts me back into that time and place. Good times, really good times.
Imho one of the most beautiful automobiles to EVER come from Detroit. Legend.
Awesome thrilling memories of our pair of 70 Boss 302s, most fun cars ever, with that unmistakeable Mustang rumbling growl.
Gives me cold chills!
Thanks for sharing!!
Most certainly not the fastest car of it's time, but that has got to be a blast to drive. I would never get tired of that sound.
This is my perfect car... That engine sound is amazing!
Thank you, it sounds like a fighter jet doesn't it!
This video makes me want to get my grandpas 1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1 rebuilt

Very nice, l luv the classic Mustangs. We had a 68 when l was a kid. I still remember going to the drive in movies. Folding the back seats down, and watch the movies. Today l own a 2021 gt.

I bought my 70' Boss 302 used in 1973, same color but no rear slats or shaker hood. Had it for 4 years, I just didn't realize I should have kept it 😢

The wheel is on the wrong side ! Lol
Beamng
I a positive that in the future an Electric vehicle will have the effect on the soul like this 😂🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thank god its stick shift. I can't stand automatic "sports" cars.
The 70s were the time when cars looked like cars, not computers.🥲👍
