BMW Airheads - extracting the rotor generator

In this short video you can see how to extract properly the rotor generator if you don't have the extractor tool which is a special bolt made for this operation. The only corect way is by using an extraction force and not kicking with a hammer or by heating the generator! For this video I have used a piece of a 6mm bolt with 55mm lengt but the best way is to use a steel rod wich is a harder material and not soft material like I have used in the video. Suitable for most BMW airhead boxer engines: R45/R65/R80/R60/R90, etc.
