Welp, had to add another pattern to the 123 Stitch cart (Salem Mermaid). Will continue working on my Nora mermaid Alphabet until I'm tired of it or its done. Might then try to finish my SUNSET kit of orcas in front of mountains (I hate stitching mountains right now) and restart my Wentzler Tapestry Cat or put that away for a few years and start something new entirely. , You ladies are lovely to listen to while stitching. Thank you for reminding me about Dee's 20; I signed up today! Those are some ambitious plans! Cannot wait to see what you both are able to do next year! I am getting my planner organized/ready for 2025 and part of mine will be for turning things into FFOs. That stack is embarrassing and it taunts me daily. I may even just do "FFO February" or something silly like that. See, I can be ambitious, too! 😄📆
Love your "Quit B itchin'" sweatshirt! Wow! Those are some Goals! Glad you are allowing for flexibility. If you like your DMC on bobbins for your master set, I recommend nail polish storage boxes instead of the small jewelry/bobbin boxes. The polish boxes are bigger and double sided. I’d totally recommend a Bisley cabinet DMC collection, I love mine and most of my WIPs are DMC or some DMC. I love that I can start things straight away and not have to wait ages to get the floss. I just need to build up my fabric stash! 💗
I love hearing these ambitious plans! As a stitcher who has absolutely no plans (except when stitching a gift for someone), I totally respect it and love hearing how you think about different types of goals for different types of projects. Also, I love Allison's shirt!

Mine are very simple- keep breathing and stitching...on anything! As I just love stitching (on Aida) , I stitch and keep in mind for whom that particular piece is going to. In all my many years, I have never kept a piece for me--+ they've all been gifts for others. And so my family is shook because I am currently stitching the 12 Days of Christmas for...MYSELF! on 11 CT, it's going to be huge...but I love it. And I'm going to use Allison 's idea of using the stretcher bars once I finish. Wish me luck!!😅

Curious if you tracked how many stitches a day you did this year to help you determine a number of stitches/day? (I have never counted stitches so I am curious about those who do).
Such fun plans! My 2 big project plans for 2025 are to finish Deadly Aquarium, and start Mirabilia Sleeping Princess. I highly recommend the Bisley floss cabinet! It's pricey, but I've saved so much time and frustration (not to mention bad language) hunting down floss!!
📆 I don’t make plans because something always happens & I have to change them I’m retired now so I can stitch when & for however long I want! Absolute bliss! Don’t have any young kids that need my attention I Hope you manage to do most of what you planned, and that you enjoy the stitching
I'm also working on Cinderella and Snow White, but both are the big kits. I am using different fabric but a mix of floss. If you want a stitchy buddy for those projects, let me know. I love your plans. I'd rather have more to do and make changes as I go than not know what to work on next. I have a minimum of 2 - 3 starts each month next year as well as working on my current wips. I still need to figure out the logistics of it but, I'm pretty much overachieving. Who knows, I may even throw my plans to the wind and return to monogamous stitching. My biggest plan for the year is to do the HAED Sal and finish it by the deadline. I can't wait to see what you guys do with your floss. I too am slowly trying to convert to a master set. It was great seeing you at the Jingle Ball. I would have said hi but you looked like your hands were full.

I have my floss organized in a Bisley, with those slots to hold your bobbins, and then i bought gwstitchinco floss drop bobbins. It’s my perfect setup:l. Y’all have gotten me thinking about the Mira Cinderella and I might have to do her in matching fabric for my in progress sleeping beauty. I prob won’t start Cinderella until sleeping beauty is done tho. My next starts are Ophelia and Juliette from Mira. I’m starting both on Christmas.

I tried to do 24 in 24, and it went sideways in January! 🤣😂🤣😂 I have so many kitted projects I am leaning toward doing several that were multi-part SAL's and working on the WIP pile. I am going to do "stitch from stash". Notice I did NOT say "no buy". It will be buying with more intention, rather than jumping on the bandwagon or "collecting for the collection". I have Oct 31 by CGS kitted, not ready to stitch that big crow & pumpkin every time I look at it, I say I can't right now. I love "mindless" fill-in stitches for those nights when the brain needs a break. My WIPGO board will only have 5 Large projects on it & 5 smalls. I'm also limiting my self to 1 SAL, as my WIPS are out of control. I don't count my stitches that would bum me out. Hope to get FFOs done next yr. 🗓📑
