I made this recipe for dinner tonight. I absolutely loved the gravy! My husband thought it was just slightly sweet, maybe because of sauteing the onions for a long period of time. But I personally loved this recipe. The rest of my family thought it was delicious too. We indeed did eat 8 chapathis when we normally eat around 4. A very good recipe indeed! Will make it very frequently from now on! Thank you very much for this recipe!!

Eg instead of egg,add chicken. For Vegetarians instead of Egg Add Potato beans peas and carrot. I do not know why ManoAkka has not added a little mint. A little mint will elevate this recipe to next level. Perhaps one day I should try With Fish,some Kerala round Tamarind and see. I will make this dish with potato and Egg.always innovating to explore new tastes.
