We typically ship them out within 24h of the purchase and the speed of shipping depends on the shipping speed you select at check out and your location. 2 days with priority mail shipping if you live nearby.

      You can use ISP but one of the components on the board will block you from reading the emmc chip, it must be removed if you can find which one it is

    • @georgec7798
      @georgec7798 14 дней назад +1

      @DSM090
      Just buy the XGECU T56 Pro with the 156 emmc socket. Set the settings to 3.3 volts in the options folder and 8 MHz. On the top of the program to the left, choose the model number of your emmc. Then click analysis IC at the bottom to the right to make sure the emmc you have in the programmer is good or not, assuming you do have a good emmc. If the emmc is good, go to the top and click read. After reading just name the file whatever you want but don't change the ending of it, for example if it ends in the word BIN do not change or delete it. Now, insert a blank emmc into the socket and click erase, then go to the top where it says project p and open project. Choose the emmc file you saved or a file called ghost and write it to the blank emmc.

  • @georgec7798
    @georgec7798 14 дней назад +1

    Why is the "setting have bus with 8-bit" instead of 1 bit.
    I noticed that the emmc you're reading is from samsung, I never seen an emmc chip from Samsung in a Hisense TV

    • @NicksTVRepair
      @NicksTVRepair  4 дня назад

      Hisense usually uses SKHynix chips. So if you take a look at the video the first chip we put in was SKHynix and that was the original chip that was on that bad board. The second chip taken from the known good board was probably a repaired board.
      As for the 8-bit vs 1-bit, I believe that is the read speed. So 8 is just faster than 1.

    Hi Nick, I have the exact same TV - the TV loads to the main screen allows me to quickly scroll then shuts down in roughly 10 seconds.....are we looking at the main board your working on in this video or the power main board??

    • @NicksTVRepair
      @NicksTVRepair  5 месяцев назад +1

      If you have the exact same TV as I do in the video then you most likely have a mainboard fault.
      The board we are fixing in the video is the mainboard. The power supply board is the one that you plug in the power cable that connects the wall outlet to the TV.

      @NicksTVRepair  8 месяцев назад

      It's best if you provide the model number of your TV but based on what you described I would say neither of those.
      Most likely it is a mainboard fault or panel fault. I would need more information to be able to better answer the question.

    i have this exact tv, overall its been solid but about 1 year in, the eeprom failed and hisense thankfully sent a tech out to replace it. several years later we're in 2024 and the tv is just soooo laggy. i am doing a factory reset today, but am going to see if this addresses how slow the tv runs...

    • @NicksTVRepair
      @NicksTVRepair  4 месяца назад

      Factory resets and software updates are always good to do. If neither resolves your fault then it is likely that your mainboard is defective and the eMMC chip will need to be replaced.

    Hi i have a Hisense 43h7050d that needed a wifi module replacement. Upon replacing it, the TV no longer powers on. The LED light is on but neither the tv button nor the remote powers the TV on. Any recommendations for how to proceed? I am thinking about replacing the main board as there is power. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    • @NicksTVRepair
      @NicksTVRepair  2 месяца назад +1

      What you are describing is one of those bizarre situations with no explanations. Replacing the wifi should not have caused your mainboard to go out. With that said I would agree with you that your next move should be to replace the mainboard. However, I will also say this. Once the TV is working, don't use the TV's built-in smart features, get a Roku or Firestick. Even if the TV already is a Roku TV or Fire TV it is best to use each company's own external device. This will #1 help extend the life of your TV by using the chips inside the external device more than the ones inside the TV and thus relieve some of that workload off your TV.
      #2 The external device will have a version of the apps that are superior and will allow you to navigate faster and smoother.

    Do you really need to program with jtag, or can you just install it? will the TV work or is that where FW, etc is stored?

    • @NicksTVRepair
      @NicksTVRepair  3 месяца назад +1

      The eMMC chips when you purchase them are blank. It's like buying a hard drive. When you buy a hard drive it doesn't come pre-loaded with the MAC OS or Windows 11 already on it. You have to install that program on the harddrive and then tell the motherboard's bios to use it to boot off when the computer is turned on.
      It's kind of the same thing here. If I put a blank eMMC chip on the board, I wouldn't be able to turn the TV on. It would act as if it's completely dead.
      This is why these repairs are difficult, you have to have that very unique software that will allow this specific TV to turn on. There is almost 0 cross-compatibility with the software either. Getting that software in the first place is half the battle.

    Hi Nick, I wish I would have seen this video sooner.
    My 70inch hisense tv turns on then freezes at the logo and then turns off. I took it to a repair shop and the guy said it was not worth repairing. I did a little research (emphasis on little) and I ended up ordering a repair kit including the main and power boards. I came across your video as I wait for delivery of the kit. I thought it was going to be a simple matter of changing out the main boards but now I realize that the new board is going to be clean. What do you suggest I do?

    • @NicksTVRepair
      @NicksTVRepair  5 месяцев назад +1

      The replacement board is going to be clean? I am not sure I understand. If you are getting a replacement board it should work fine provided it's working and not broken. Now the only downfall is you may not know how much use it has had in the past and how much longer it will last, which is the advantage of the repair since we put a brand new eMMC chip on there.
      When you get it just make sure to do a factory reset and software update. As long as it goes through both no problem then you should be fine. If it hangs up on the reset or software update then you know it was/is going to go out soon and should return it.

      @@NicksTVRepair Thank you for responding I checked and I don't think the model that I have has that reset button I have been looking for it but did not find it.
      I watched few videos where it showed how to reset the remote which I tried and it also showed how to reset the TV and I tried that but that did not work I believe the TV got reset and it went ahead from the Android TV screen and started showing me the option to connect to the Wi-Fi and connect with the Google.
      I did connect the TV to the Wi-Fi and as soon as I move forward with more options it keeps getting shut down and I had to restart hit again multiple times.
      Now when I restart it shows me the Android screen it moves further and shows me my Google account I move forward with all the acceptance of agreement and changes and then it keeps resetting and shutting down.
      I thought that the remote could be the problem so I removed the batteries of the remote and kept it on the side and downloaded remote TV app from the high sense on my Android phone and tried to connect the TV with that app and was able to successfully connect it and move it forward with few selections of the setup but then again the TV keeps getting shut down every few minutes.
      Can you Help and guide me how I can find a hard reset button on the motherboard which would help me to reset this back to factory settings I'm an electronics engineer and I'm sure if you can guide me through the steps I can reset the motherboard which might help to resolve this problem thank you.

You can either purchase an LED tester to rule out your LED strips (not likely) or you can send in your mainboard for us to live test and fix for you. So the circuit board we are fixing in this video is a mainboard. When you replace the eMMC chip, a small amount of apps will no longer work. However, a good portion of apps will still work just fine. Using a Firestick, Roku device, Apple TV, google Chromecast or another similar device will circumvent this issue.
      If you replace the mainboard with a used one, you won't have that issue but you also risk having a repeat failure soon.
      If you replace the power supply (I have never seen one for this model fail), it will not affect the apps.

      Yeah that's why we had to purchase a new board first to grab the software from it before we could shoot the video and do the component level repair of the original defective mainboard.

      But now that you have the software, you have it for life.

      Can you elaborate on what you used to do thus job. It seems like an infrared heater that you program a heating profile. Am I right, secondly you have a vacuum pickup. Is this part of the infrared heating tool? What programmer do you use to read and write the emmc?

      How much do you sell the main board

      The rework machine we use for the soldering work is a ZM-R5860C BGA rework station upgraded. The vacuum pickup tool is built into the machine. It uses both infrared heating and convection.
      We use the Jtag Plus for the EMMC reading and writing.

    Hey nick my hisense tv has a white background, and I don't know what to order. Model number is 43h4030f4

      I am not familiar with this model but with a quick search on google I found this tv model only has 1 circuit board. Not knowing what is wrong with it I would believe this to be the natural first step to take.
      If that does not resolve the fault then you may have a panel failure which would require a hands on repair from a tech.

      I don't have these otherwise I would point you to our store. The next best would be Shopjimmy:

    TV turns on and shows android screen for a second then turns off and is followed by 3 flashes on power light.
    Is there a fix?

      Mhmm, I want to say that it is a mainboard fault but I fear it could also be the LED backlight. You would need to test your LED strips using an LED tester. If you want to send in your mainbaord, we can also live test it in our TV and confirm the fault. If the fault is with the mainboard, we will proceed with the repairs, if it's fully functional we will send it back to you with a refund minus our bench fee.
      For more information on that, you can visit our repair service listing linked in the video description, or if you have any more questions, you can reach out to us. Our contact info and link to our contact form are also in the video description.

    Great job can you send me the part number?

      @NicksTVRepair  Год назад

      Hey Felix,
      All of the information is provided in the video description. We have the part numbers, board numbers, and links to both new modules for sale that you can outright purchase, or if you want to save money, and spend less, you can send in your original defective mainboard for repair.
      I don't like to provide links in comments because it is a bad habit as it is easy to impersonate on RUclips and scammers are everywhere! This is why I typically refer people to just check the video description since that is where we put all of the information.

      Hello,
      The fault you are describing does sound a lot like a mainboard failure due to a defective eMMC chip yes.
