Electrolytic capacitor, marked with "X" on the failed powerboard - it is a filter/buffer capacitor for powering combined APFC+PWM controller IC. Generally, it has 47-100 uF x 35-50 Vdc value. This cap is prone to capacity loss and rise of ESR value due to ageing process, and this cap's failure disrupts IC's normal power up process.
Very good answer Sergey, a true technician right there. I love my ESR meter. Other than sizing it up from 35 Volts to 50 or 60 Volts. What Cap's you use now days that are a good brand mate.
Those solar panels had me salivating! These new TV's are quite modular and the nice thing is the PCB's are available. GroWatt being replaced! Well done.

Was being replaced, until I found out who I brought it off. spoilers Ben, next vlog. Those panels are not there anymore.

Hey chux, is that sheds power all off grid? How long could run a 750w server from using the solar panels and battery
The server would run 24/7 in spring and summer. I have put more solar on, but I calculated 20 KW would be needed for the shortest day.
