You sir are a wizard with these tv:s. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I'm actually watching your RUclips video on a TV I repaired, partially due to your information.
Master @ work! Good job! Love seeing the "down to the component" videos. I'm a "replace the board" type of guy... but yet again, your experience says it all!
I though this Tv was going to be a real cheap product with a very bad design, but after watching you work on the power supply board it seemed like a quality unit. It seems Hisense is designed in St. Charles , Ill. and built in China. It also got very good reviews from the little i saw. Maybe St. Charles is near you..... I didn't check that though!
I just got to say you sure are good at delivering the process on how to go about troubleshooting and them diagrams you draw I'm like that makes it look so damn simple so I was kind of wondering if you buy 10 keep them drawings the one I remember the most is how the power supply work you should have them posted up somewhere so somebody could download them for a reasonable price
I have a u6g. Haven't had any problems but wondering how hard it would be getting the panel off if I got to replace a led/strip down the road. I don't know how to explain it right lol, but it does not have a typical bezel. Its like a hollow gap all around & the panel frame & seems like its held by some sort of adhesive. Could be wrong but that is what it seems to me. The whole bezel/mount for the panel is all metal.
I got the same hisense tv, red light steady light indicator but doesn't turn on when pressing power button. I have 3Volts standby voltage but 0.02 on PWM and SW pins. i measured the 16V and 12V on the other pins. What seems to be the problem? Thank you!
Thank you for the step by step videos. They really helped me understand trouble shooting techniques. Would happen to have done one on a Hisense model 58A6100UW with standby light on but when switched on, only flashes 3 times and goes back to standby. Thank you
Hi please I have the same problem with my Hisense 65'' smart tv, how did you fix yours, I checked the power supply it's giving me all the 12v voltages, I noticed the 3.3 or 5v standby is not there? Thanks
I have a Hisense 75" and my voltages from the power board secondary seems fine except there are 2 that are labeled 18v but they only have 16.7v-16.8v out. Is that ose enough to be OK? This smart TV was sluggish and I turned it off. It never came back on and all I get now is standby light with 1 blink occasionally. Seems stuck in standby mode. I got this one free and last time it was the main board but they are unavailable. It sure if I am out of spec enough to need a PS board. Any advice??
Thank you so much. I fixed a tv by looking to this video. One question .... I have a tv that the image has horizontal and vertical lines when tv is cold.. I wait a few minuute like 30, turn off then on and its 100% perfect . What could it be?
Check the Power ON and the Backlight ON voltage on the plug going to Main. Those voltages are produced on mainboard and going back to the PS board (3v-5v). If missing when you hit the power; suspect bad mainboard.
Power supply board issue I bet or a blown fuse. Had that with a 19" Sanyo I bought on e bay for 25 bucks. Took an 89 cent fuse from Radio Shack to get it running like new again but I donated it a few years back.
My 65" Hisense standby blinks 3 times and goes of again when I checked the power supply all 12v coming just the standby 5v is not coming and tv won't start

Nice job Bigdog!
I AM BERNERD MWAIGHOND above electronic TV is nice for me and other to learn to repair
I need a community college course or something for this board stuff. What words do I search for for classes?
Just get my course bigdogtvrepaircourse.mykajabi.com/
@@bigdog8882 I was checking out the site...Is the course available right now or June? Do I get everything all at once?
Is there distinct technique video to repair same tv but that still has standby light?

I need you to teach me how to fix my TV please thank you very much about 20 to 30 minutes or so that's how long I think it'll take
Hello....
Can the main stanby power fluctuates when the feedback is opened?
Thanks
Yes if the Feedback line is OPEN, then its possible the Driver circuit (IC) wont even operate at all.
Hi I have a question for you, is it possible to change the led on a 65" QLED television?
Yes, it is possible but it is difficult and tedious.
Could you please tell me why my Hitachi Le55w806 white light blinks 8 times but won't turn on.
Great job!!
I want to replace the broken screen of my Hisense 50 inches tv. I live in ogun state. Nigeria.
same tv replaced the diode and the resister but the same thing will not come on.
Maybe another problem.
My 65" Hisense standby blinks 3 times and goes of again when I checked the power supply all 12v coming just the standby 5v is not coming and tv won't start
Did you ever figure out what was wrong with yours? Mine does that.
how much is the cost of this kind of repair on your country
Around $150-$200
Nice
I'll just get a working board lol I'm no good with checking all them things
what happened?
Tesla Hacked my RUclips Channel, lol.
@@bigdog8882 glad you're back 😊
Definitely don't get a board from shopjimmy you just have to send them back or fix it
