@@iakazul Great job! It's just so pretty there :)
You told us EVERYTHING about this place except the price of admission.
For me, that's like someone handing you a ham sandwich with no ham in it.
Are you old enough to remember that little old lady in the Wendy's commercial ?
>>>> "Where's the Beef ?"
I was a tour guide and boat captain and loved every single minute working there! So glad your whole family enjoyed our area! Ty so much for the video!
I’ve visited Lake Shasta caverns in 2002, the water was extremely low, drought season. The ferry still got us across, but you had to walk quite a ways through the old lake bed to get to it. Once there are the tour was quite amazing the caverns were beautiful the tour was fantastic.
I went to the caves when I was in 4th grade. Around 1983. That bus ride up scared the CRAP out of me. Thought any minute we were gonna go over the edge. Vowed to never go back. Have been to Shasta many times to fish. Never been back to the caverns!
Just an FYI. The tours are every hour after Labor day. We went at 11 and had a small group. Saw larger groups on our return. The overall tour was great.
First time in your channel, and I find your trip advises very useful, like the shoes to wear for the cavin, the description of the roads and time frames to wait, etc.. thank you very much!! 🥰
Thank you!
Great video! Thanks! Lifelong California resident and never been there yet. Been to Mt. Shasta but didn’t know about these caverns. Thanks!
There are advertisements all along I 5 leading up to it. you can't miss it
Thank you so much for ur excellent tour guide! It is such a good feeling to see there r still families taking trips like this together, God Bless you!
Sept 15, Just went through the caves, came over by houseboat that you can park on the shore to take the bus ride up to the caves... also visited the caves in early 60's
Great video. I've been meaning to go, live about 4 hours drive from the caverns.
very well filmed and narrated
'the editing dept. gets an A

Hey I live here, this is the best part of the entire state ,so much natural beauty a great place to live
Yes! Northern California is so beautiful :)
You are a great tour guide. It is really great that you covered driving in with an RV. We have a small Class C motorhome that is our only transportation. I am putting this on my travel list.
I have used shasta lake for years and one of my favorite parts were the caverns.
Very informative video! Thanks for posting, looking forward to heading up there next month.
I just shared a video I did about Shasta Lake, and someone asked if I had been to the Caverns. I said, no, maybe if we had more time during our stays. So, THIS is very helpful and am going to share with my Facebook group! Very detailed and I subscribed! Looking forward to more videos!
Thank you again. You will have to go check out Shasta Caverns. We had a ton of fun! I'm going to watch your Shasta Lake video now :)
Very well done review! All necessary information included.
A lady used to stay up there year around but 1 year the bigfoots kept throwing rock's at the house and it ran in front of the bus driver. She quit and dosen't stay there no more.word on the street. There's thousands of these forest people.
Certainly. Believe it
Great video. Thanks. Your are a stellar tour guide!
You do such a nice job informing us along the way. Love your video style. 😎❤️👍
Ahhh! Thank you so much. I am glad that you like them :)

Great job, thanks!
Wow wonderfull i went there 1992 long time ago
Thank you!
I vaguely remember that road to the caverns being terrifying as hell in a bus. Not sure if I'm thinking of the right trip, though?
It might be... I was so scared, but I am not surprised as I don't like steep roads. Everyone else on the bus seemed fine.
AMAZING
Entrance to the city were the lemur or kumari kandam survivers arrived thowsands of years ago
Thanks for your video! We are going there tomorrow and I was nervous about the 600 stairs part, but it seems doable 😂 Did you see any bats inside the cavern?
Las cavernas muy bellas. Como de película muy bonitas. El estado de California genial
I went there in 1971 …… things have changed a lot ….
Damn i love it
Such a detailed account! Are you based in Northern California or traveling through?
Thank you! I live in Northern California :)
Nice video. When was this recorded? I'm just curious if they do bus / boat tours during that time.
This was filmed back in June :) I am not sure if they are still open now or not.
Did this tour about 30 years ago.
Did the point out the Disney characters in the last room for you?
Wow!!!
Just went there a couple of weeks ago. A lot of fun! Made a video too on my RUclips channel 😊
I would love to know more about where you camped! Headed up there in two weeks and having a little trouble finding good info!
Sorry for the late reply. I just saw this question. We camped at Gregory Creek, but there are so many great camping spots around Lake Shasta. The closest to the caverns would be Bailey Cove Campground.
🔥🔥🔥
im litterly going to lake shasta in a couple of days
Have fun! Lake Shasta is Beautiful :)
is this near to hw5 and do we have to purchase the tickets before we get there or days before?
great video. I have a 5 yr old kid. Is the walk to cavern easy or kids?
pilajı da var mı?
Hi there, great job! I see this was posted a month ago - was this trip during the pandemic? Looking for things to do w the fam...
Yes we visited in July during the pandemic and they were still offering tours :) I would call them just to make sure they are still open. They are very helpful if you call with questions.
Ask For Adventure no masks required?
So is that a no or yes lol?
@@user-px1eb8wx3x They didn't require masks when we visited in June 2020 they just did social distancing. You could call to see if that has changed now that CA has a mask mandate it might be different. They were very helpful when I called with questions :)
@@user-px1eb8wx3x haha it's was a no in June but an idk today :)
Would it be ok for a 3 yr old?
Nice and Creative Videos, This is really my favorite channle.:).
I really glad to see your post and your world was so brilliant. 🌴🌴🌴
excellent and Much appreciated!!🌴🌴🌴 🌴🌴🌴 🌴🌴🌴 🌴🌴🌴 from:
Redding City Shasta
Thank you so much!! I hope that they help :)
The drought in 2021 makes me wonder if there's enough water in the lake to support the ferry over to the cavern area...
Good point!
I just went to the caverns last week (June 2022). The water is still low but the ferries are still going to the caverns.
How much is the tour
We live an hour away but we'll never be able to go, as they don't do anything for special needs people, like have private tours or very small tours. my son has severe social anxiety and social phobia's, and also has tourettes,so being in a situation like this would be complete and utter hell, even though he loves natural wonders, like this
the part of California that's all Anglo and Saxon.
A cave that’s 200,000 to 400,000 years old. Bye bye Bible fairytale.
So True
Exactly!!!! Amen to that.. lol
Imagine a atheist so rude disrespects millions of other fellow humans
Don’t be an asshole
