Wonderful video!!! I’m about to head to Bend, Oregon from SL Tahoe for business. I have decided to leave 3 days early and going to camp in Shasta now, due to your video. 😊 it’s the only area at the moment with no smoke pollution up there.
thats awesome, i went up this june but didnt get hike to Heart lake this year because it was still covered in snow which was a bummer..highly recommend that hike if you go it should be melted by now!
Awesome video! This is my favorite area of California! A former resident of Lake Tahoe here, I enjoy the Mount Shasta/ Southern Cascades area because it really doesn't get seen by a lot of Californians due to it being so far away from major population centers, which is why I like it! Not too overcrowded like Tahoe can get in the summer. I was last in the area in late June 2022 and let me tell you after coming back from the Pacific Northwest, it is scary to see how Mount Shasta, over 14,000 feet has 10% of the snow cover of the mountains of even Northern Oregon, which are 3,000-4,000 feet lower than it. A good food spot in Dunsmuir is YAKS on the 5, I can't recommend it enough. Really enjoyed this video.
Agreed! I kind of love that its in a remote area of California! I remember when I lived in LA I always wanted to visit but it was just so far! And yes I cant belive how little snow was on Mt Shasta..Im assuming thats not normal for July. I passed by Yaks! There burgers sounded pretty amazing but i'm a vegetarian but maybe their veggie burgers are good 😊 .
@@GabriellaViola The snowpack was a little light that year, but generally its never much more than that by July. Also the north side of the mountain always has more than what you see from the freeway and the south.
Glad I found this video too because we been talking about Lassen Volcanic trip and was going to include Burney and McCloud Falls to make our drive from San Jose worthwhile. You also mentioned the other falls and a lake which is also very beautiful so I'm hoping we get to see them as well. Thx for making short videos of these amazing places Mother nature have given us.
I remember going through Mt Shasta from Fresno County to Washington State. I do live in Nashville Tennessee now and it's very low elevation. The highest mountain here in Tennessee are the smoky Mountains 3 hours east of Nashville. I do miss the western part of the U.S
@@GabriellaViola No, I've never been there. Only seen it passing by on Hwy. 5 on the way to Washington. How about Lassen? That's another place I would like to check out.
Gabriella, you have a positive talent for travel videos! In four minutes, you give us the snapshot we need to decide whether we are putting a destination on our travel list. I am hoping to see a vid about the Bridgeport, Ca/Mono Lake/Highway 395 area, as there are so many amazing things to see and do in that area.
Hi Neil! thank you so much for your comment! I am so glad this video helped you plan your trip..I've been wanting to do a 395 highlight video so I love that suggestion 💙
Thanks so much for taking us to such a beautiful place on earth!. You mentioned some places to eat but no place to stay while there.I noticed that it is normally you on your trips but this time it was "WE" Have you moved back to Tahoe or are you still in CC? You are really catching up on your videos now, please keep them coming.
I think we parked along the road but I cant remember..We went the train tracks way which lots of people do but your not really supposed to, I thought I read that they are making a new trail
oh wow! i know they were lax about it before as people walk the tracks because there isnt an official trail yet, wonder if they got more stringent about it
Its a beast. There are sandy roads on Klamath Side. Railroad. 4x4. Google Railroad look for road North Side. She nailed area. Under Rainbow Falls is way better. East Sierra is king. Period. AND IT HAS DEATH VALLEY. BRISTLECONE. YOSEMITE. TAHOE.
your right, there was a guard along the tracks but they let us go by, it seems like lots of people do it because Mossbrae was packed when we went, but they are working on an official trail I heard.

Underneath that mountain it is an inner city were the last survivers of kumari kandam or lemuria arrived thousands of years ago

@@GabriellaViola Yes please do, was wondering why you left out all the Spiritual stuff and people ✌🏼😎…
Maybe because it's a bunch of BS more than likely 😆😂
It be real😊
Something happens to my car every time I approach that area.

Lovely
Love and light ireland ❤
Man California is beautiful
How easy is it to access the first day falls? I have vision dusability and uts hard to walk long or steep trails ❤. Thanks!
Burney Falls is super easy to access, its down a short paved trail, but I think its closed for renovations this summer
thank you
where do you park for mossbrae falls? I want to bring my parents, so we can't cross the river, which is how I did it when I went
I think we parked along the road but I cant remember..We went the train tracks way which lots of people do but your not really supposed to, I thought I read that they are making a new trail
Thank you !!!
Great video 👍🏼
Thank you so much Jesse!
Went to shasta but didnt go up the mountain? You missed out.
Burney Falls is closed this year
i saw that they are closed for renovations for the summer
What time of the year did you go?
I usually go May-July
When was this? Which month?
what month did you go?
This was in July
Unfortunately Mossbrae has been blocked off recently!! “Private” property
oh wow! i know they were lax about it before as people walk the tracks because there isnt an official trail yet, wonder if they got more stringent about it
Who wants to be my mt Shasta traveling bus buddy
What month was this
I usually visit early summer

She nailed area. Under Rainbow Falls is way better. East Sierra is king. Period.
AND IT HAS DEATH VALLEY. BRISTLECONE.
YOSEMITE. TAHOE.
You are so hot too!! Not only the days. I repeat "You are like a sunset in lake Tahoe".
Be smart and put a ring on that, boyfriend!
FYI mossbrae is private property
your right, there was a guard along the tracks but they let us go by, it seems like lots of people do it because Mossbrae was packed when we went, but they are working on an official trail I heard.
My favorite part is that all the local druggies can't be bothered to hike to all these places so you don't even have to worry about needles :)
What month was that ?
This was in mid July!
@@GabriellaViola Thanks! I was there in January, that was freezing cold !
