- I dive into the best crypto wallets for 2024 ranking them from best to worst. I also take a look at some of the top crypto hardware wallets and rank my favorite to least favorite.
If you're trying to decide which crypto wallet is the best crypto wallet, I have a favorite I consider head and shoulders above the rest. I also dive into the various features of each wallet, each one's strengths and weaknesses.

*IMPORTANT PLEASE READ: None of this is meant to be taken as any form of investment advice, it's just me sharing my journey to a million and taking about what I'm up to and the strategies and tactics I'm using to try to get there. I am almost always talking about tokens that I myself own and obviously have a bias toward seeing them appricate in value.
Do your own research always! I'm a normal guy who makes mistakes and has made plenty so far during this journey. So choosing to blindly copy what I'm doing isn't going to lead you to just making a ton of money. I've had investments where I've lost EVERYTHING. I don't just say do your own research as a legal covering but because you really need to do your own research and make your own call. If you don't understand what you're investing in you can lose A LOT of money! Especially in crypto which is super super risky. A lot of the projects I like to jump in are really small crypto projects which make them even more insane risky. Past performance doesn't mean the project will do the same thing in the future, no one can predict the future and what will happen next. I'm pretty passionate about this, I am by no means a professional investor. I'm on my journey to a million dollars, I don't even have the experience to have made a million dollars. All this is to share my journey because I believe there is value in watching me both succeed and fail. It's my story I'm sharing with all of you, DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH and don't just blindly copy me😄
Also all of this info might be accurate at the time of me recording and posting but in the future things could change. Especially in crypto things change fast, so just be aware of that. Thanks!

Though I agree with your remarks about the Ledger debacles, there are multiple reasons they shouldn't have slipped up like they did.

Please! Please! Make a video on how to transfer your crypto funds to to your bank or somewhere where you can receive it! Transferring your crypto funds or trying to is so frustrating and annoying, it like they don’t want to have your funds!

You have to transfer them back to the exchange than sell them than cash out to your bank.
Spritz Finance, Transak, Bitrefill etc.
I swap everything to usdc, then send it to Coinbase and cash out

Keystone is a great wallet.
I have the version previous of the 3 pro.
Mind that the 3 pro has its battery build in and can not be replaced.
The wallet probably only works 5 years max and has to be replaced after the battery gets bad.

I need help with my cosmostation app wallet. I have akash/AKT and want to sell it. I want to transfer it to coinbase wallet but it asks which network I want to use (Ethereum or Polygon) I’m not sure which one to use. Further coinbase sats they don’t support the network. What do I do to get this to my bank account?

I use Kepler for Cosmos, never tried Leap personally so no opinion

Hey Jesse! I have a question about your "favorite wallet". When trying to look it up in the app store, the first thing that comes up is "Rabbit Wallet". Is that the same one as the "Rabby" wallet you speak about in this video?
rabbit wallet is a different app from different company. Rabby is from "DeBank" and Rabbit from "Becen Joint Stock Company" hopefully this helps

Why no Gnosis multi-sig or Argent?
I've just never tried them. Worth adding?
@@jesseeckel2 Gnosis is like the gold standard of DAOs etc. but you can use it as a MFA for yourself too (e.g. instead of 2/3 different people who need to approve it, it can be 2/3 of your own wallets). It is per definition way more secure than any individual wallet ever can be but really not talked about much. Also the UX is kinda clunky, so I hope someone like you could motivate them to improve haha
Argent is on the forefront of account abstraction. However, if you don't do mobile wallets that's not for you yet, I guess.
Both options go away from the "lose/get your seed phrase hacked and you're 100% f*cked" paradigm which is highly needed in this space.

What wallet are you using for your sphere? I don't see any support for sphere on most of these wallets.
You can use any of these wallets. They work with any ERC-20 token. Basically anything ETH, Optimism, BNB chain, Arbitrum, Polygon, etc. Look instead at what chains they support not what assets. Then whatever asset is on that chain it should be good. Although would recommend being a bit paranoid and sending over a tiny bit first until you get more comfortable with it. That way if you do something wrong you don't lose it all. Good luck!
What about xPortal from MultiversX, with the 2FA on chain?
Supports BTC, ETH, BNB, Doge + EGLD and its ecosystem.
I've used the Exodus wallet for the last 6 years, can you do a review of it at all? =) I think it's pure awesomeness :D

Welcome! Kepler for Cosmos ecosystem is my favorite. I use the Rabby extension, I haven't tried the desktop version but sounds interesting!

Wow. Rabby looks amazing. I really like rainbow wallet. I still use metamask though because you can customly make it work with any chain. I probably need start moving over to using a different wallet.
With rabby can you setup custom rpc to work with any chain?
Honestly worth just giving Rabby a go for a week. It's worth it.
You don't even need to set it up, Rabby will automatically switch to any chain you connect to.

Surprised you didn't mention Exodus? Even though Rabby looks great from a security perspective, so far Exodus to me seems like a simpler/easier to use wallet..
Hi. Subscribed. Complete noob to crypto, most of this is kind of over my head. I'm a semi-pro sport bettor looking to deposit into an offshore betting account. Crypto is the suggested way to deposit for maximum security (as opposed to a card, wire transfer, etc.).
I'm hearing all this foreign language that I don't really understand, but what I'm gathering is that I need a wallet as a middle man, because sites like Coinbase will shut down your account if you go directly from Coinbase to the offshore account and they find out. In this situation, what would you do as far as how to get the crypto and get a wallet? Any advice appreciated. Thanks!
PS-Also confusing, is that you can get Coinbase and also a Coinbase wallet. So if I get Coinbase (which is guess is where you purchase crypto?), then I can also get a Coinbase wallet? In that case would Coinbase still be able to shut down the account or since it's in my wallet or would they no longer have any knowledge of that?

I am planning to store them on a cold wallet..but how long does it take to transfer coins from the cold wallet back into an exchange if I want to sell them urgently, owing to a sudden short lived spike? Is it possible for the transfer to take long and can we possibly lose money if the spike is short lived and we can't get the coins on exchange before time

The crypto is NOT STORED IN YOUR CRYPTO WALLET!
The wallet only has your crypto addresses and keys.
The crypto itself is encrypted by your secret key and stored on the blockchain

Yes you don’t need your wallet to get access to your crypto if you lose access to your wallet. You just need your keys.

how do you go from Rabby to bank account (withdrawals)
You would send the tokens back to Coinbase or whatever exchange and then cash out. Typically if you held a token that wasn't on Coinbase you'd sell into ETH first or stables.

Your seed phrase essentially IS your wallet. Think of it as a key that shows you're the person who owns that crypto. You can go to a new computer, install a wallet, enter your seed phrase and you'd have access to all your crypto. That goes for ANYONE who has your seed phrase.

You could only store wrapped BTC. I use my hardware wallet to store BTC.
