Was wonderful to watch this page come to life under yours and my favourite Albrecht Druher and it seems to me it may be time to replace Stubbs so you are not left in a pickle without your favourite pencil, that are well used ❤❤❤

I need to try these pencils! I avoid large areas bevause they are such a pain with pencil only. I do have inktense but csnt get the hang of them. They always look rough and blotchy.
I have never actually tried the intense, I hear they are beautiful and vibrant to work with. But yes, I think they will not be as forgiving as watercolour pencils. Hopefully I get to try them one day 🤗💗
@@shelscolouringjourney you inspired me with your work so I did get out my inktense and followed your process. I did a light layer of Inktense, activated with a small amount of water. Then I went over it with Polychromos. I liked it! They didn't look streaky with the pencil on top. The pencil blended nicely. I was able to get a beautiful look without needing 10 layers of pencil I think I will like coloring more once it's a touch easier. So this may be my new go to technique. My only complaint is Inktense has so few color choices. So I may need to upgrade to the FC watercolors lol
