I absolutely love your coloring. You are so talented with your Albrecht Durer pencils. I love the vibrancy and color palettes you use. Albrecht Durer's are so intimidating to me. Definately need to get them out and practice with them.

Your Europa postcard of the rainy scene is absolutely gorgeous! I've always loved that page but a double page spread is so intimidating. The postcard is the perfect size
Great video Shel. Love Rita Berman books. I should color in them more often. Love these types of videos so we can see someone's progress! Very inspiring to learn more techniques. I recently bought some pastels but have yet to use them. Your a great colourist and all your pics: old and new are beautiful. thanks for doing this video.

Hi Shelly, I love your channel FYI. Also thanks heaps for showing all your amazing work in your Rita books. I have a small collection of her books atm and haven’t coloured one page. I started my colouring journey only at the start of the year. I have spent more time buying colouring books than actually colouring in lol. But the books will always be there and will never expire. Sometimes it’s just as relaxing watching RUclips colouring channels. I’m looking forward to your next vid. Keep it up!!
Wow Shelly, even in your early coloring it looks beautiful!! Love your pages, there are so many I cannot say which one is my favorite!!. I am so glad to watch this and see the pages and colors you have used….I wanted to comment on the one page with the black background, where you see the pencils and then the tombows on the background over the pencils? I remember watching a Peta Hewitt video of her doing this? Just to let you know? But wow, love these pages!!!

Thank you so much! Yes, I always spray fixative other than if I have only used markers with no pencils, or only watercolour medium with no dry medium over top. Hope this helps 🤗💗

Hello! I tend to use Faber Castell mostly - 72 set. Matches with the Polychromos and Albrecht Dürer pencils. 💗
I have a question: are Albrecht Dura pencils different from Faber Castel Polychromos?
ADFC are water pencils. FCPC are not. 😀

I love how the clouds turned out in the pink sky. That page is amazing. Maybe the color of the squid clashes with the color of the sky? Either way love the page.

As answered, Albrecht Dürers are watercolour pencils and Polychromos are not. Colour range is exactly the same.
The Albrecht Dürers work great as dry pencils too 🤗💗
