I feel like (for me) this is the perfect drun set up - the tom positions, the cymbal (count). Really nice. ,I bet it dosts a small fortune (without the drum brain!). This is so nice!
I like this kit but I'd tweak a few things to my liking. Give me 8, 10, 12 toms up in the middle and then a 14 and 16 floor toms. I'd want the kick drum slightly smaller and add 1-2 more cymbals. So basically a 7 piece kit with extra cymbals. Cool demo! 🥁
Agreed!!! But can this be configured with the TD-27, or do we need the extra ports of the TD-50? Also, how do we fit the third upper Tom? I’m looking to purchase this specific setup.
@@davidlobel It can be done on TD27 as it has 3 extra Aux inputs for extra pads or cymbals. As for getting the extra tom there, you just need to have a good drum rack mount setup.
@@MusicWizard85 Good Morning SaunaSky and thanks for the reply. But that’s the issue: 3 Aux Inputs isn’t enough for an additional upper tom, lower tom, extra crash, splash, and china…and cowbell? I’ve seen some “splitter” cords, but also heard they can cause an issue when both triggers are hit at the same time, etc. Downside is the TD-50, as lovely as it is, is overkill…but has all those extra inputs. Like anything else, Roland found the sweet spot in between the 27 and 50 for those who don’t need the 50, just its inputs…so you have to spend the extra $2,500+ :-(
@@davidlobel There's a dedicated input for Crash 2 on the TD27 module. Extra upper tom to Aux 1, extra floor tom to Aux 2, so that leaves Aux 3 for 1 more cymbal or tom. For me the TD50s (I'd go with TD50KV2) are priced way too high. I think 27 is currently the best overall deal for your money.
Some of you guys dogging out Roland. What do you think the settings are for in the module? Reading is fundamental like programming. You can tweak any edrum set to your preference plus there's always software available. All the brands need some sort of adjustment. After experiencing all the other sets Roland is the most durable. By the way this brother on the tubs is a beast he always do great demos.
beautiful drum set! i'd like to see a version with the black mesh, sure it looks more stunning. after 30days, i'll do re-wrapping my set but instead of piano, i'll use pearl white. 😊 great playing and demo ralf
I like how Ralf got too play with a little bit of music on one of those pieces finally anyways nice drum set as usual great job bringing it too life 🤗👋🤘.
Hey Brad, yes the drum-tec Sound Editions are compatible with the new firmware version too 😃 feel free to get in touch through experts@drum-tec.de for further info. Kind regards!
The kit is stunning but some of these sounds are no better than the TD 30 .Need a much better module .You guy a great don't get me wrong it's just there are much better modules than the td 27 and if your gonna buy one of the kits you might as well go BIG
Hey Bobby, we've actually released more pro 3 demos with TD-50X, Pearl Mimic Pro & EFNOTE 7X recently: ruclips.net/video/6NMMuI_qUE8/видео.html ruclips.net/video/36szwldiuIw/видео.html ruclips.net/video/GWnxbKPYRCs/видео.html Kind regards!
pro shells have the size of "real" acoustic drums, are equipped with our 3-ply real feel Mesh Heads and have a far more advanced trigger system in comparison to our Jam series.
@@drumtecTVThank you! I decided to buy a Jam 3, it is the first time I'm buying such product (e-drum acoustic design), I think it is a good start and maybe in future when I'm playing better I'd upgrade to a pro version
This drum set isn’t with the 8 thousand they’re asking. I built my kit for a fractions just by going out buying mesh tags and some Roland drum triggers
Hi Chris, it's all Roland: VH-14D, CY-18DR, CY-14C-T etc, you'll find all models here: www.drum-tec.com/pads/e-cymbal-pads?p=1&o=3&n=12&s=21 Feel free to get in touch through experts@drum-tec.de for further assistance. Kind regards!
? I’ve never had any issue with their customer service at all. On the contrary they have been fantastic when I had an issue downloading one of the kit packs I bought as well as arranging shipping when I ordered a kit last year
Hey Bobby, you can get in touch through experts@drum-tec.de at any time or call up the German (yet english speaking) hotline also. The effort drum sounds beat out Roland.
Very cool

Offset rack toms ftw
What cymbals are being used?
Are the triggers better than Roland? Thanks!
