Both of you really do travel and eat all kinds of food and are always so upbeat.
I watched another channel but stopped because he only stays mostly in the casinos doing burger and rice and noodle reviews.
A good grilled burger is simple and delicious. No combos no nothing. That’s why some burger places have been around for sometimes 50 plus years. Good nest. Nice fresh buns. Fresh veggies. That’s all you need.
None of these looked good to me. There's something to be said for a simple burger with high quality beef and the traditional burger toppings.
I like both simple burgers and burgers with toppings.
Had a roommate like you. He ate hamburgers with just meat and ketchup.

The turkey burger would probably be my favorite because I love the rosemary bacon topping and the lighter texture of the turkey. I've never had a 50/50 burger so I would have to try that one!
You ever notice there's been many different Boba shops now. The Boba shop I been going to many times is Its Boba Time with many locations in California and other states. Since they first open in Torrance 8yrs ago. Now teaspoon and also another New bobashop in Torrance open up called BobaHi.
I like most of Slaters 50/50. I have eaten at the Huntington Beach, San Diego, and Anaheim locations. The San Diego restaurant was my favorite. Everything was delicious and on point. The bacon ketchup is so tasty!
Everything looked so great today! I follow a few food review channels, but I really appreciate your channel because it's in my area. I don't know how you showed up in my RUclips feed, but I'm glad you did! Today's review of Slater's 50/50 was right down the street from us. The turkey burger looked amazing to me! I told my husband he's taking me to lunch there next week! I can't wait! Great review!

Oh my goodness you guys should’ve got the whale burger and split. It is huge a lot of people mostly go there to try it.
SayHiToMatthew and Norma tried it a couple years ago if anyone is interested in a video of that. It's not a bad deal considering it comes with lobster, the gold bun(like the 24K burger) and a bottle of champagne!
We were tempted, but for the price, we got 3 burgers. 🤣. Maybe next time!

O you guys! Del Amo Fashion Mall is one of our favorite places to shop and eat in the South Bay. 50/50 had some great takes on Burgers. The one with Peanut butter and strawberry jam and the Black Angus Burger looked outrageous! All the different sauce pairings really added alot..
I love our local offerings in the South Bay. Sooo much great food to choose from.

I’ve been to Teaspoon in LA.
We had a 50/50 in Rancho Cucamonga but it closed a few years ago. We would go there for drinks and appetizers but not so much their burgers. Couldn’t finish them even if we shared. Vlog was excellent though.

There has been one at my old stumping grounds in Anaheim Hills. They have been there 10 or so years..They’re ok. So so.😮
I went to the Pasadena one before.
I had the BBB Bacon burger a couple years ago when I had jury duty downtown. It was good, but I wasn't a fan of the bacon island sauce. The rest of the burger was delicious though! Those burgers look great, but I think I'd want them at least medium-well having half bacon!
I wish Vegas had a Counter Burger! It's a build-your-own burger type place with lots of toppings! That's my favorite burger place. They have one near SAG-AFTRA in Los Angeles and about 40 locations all together. Unfortunately the one in Dos Lagos closed down years ago, so my closest one is Irvine.
We used to have a Counter Burger in Torrance, but sadly they closed. It was pretty good!
It’s been year’s since I have been to slaters It was the one in Rancho Cucamonga. I got way to many toppings on my burger, it was so big and hard to eat.

strange original different not sure but i did see big. patties were good size and all the extras made for a big bite. gotta ask just because i gotta know...do you say, "try it out," when eating at home? you both say it a lot in your videos.

NEVER saw such *textured , *qualitative, and abundant plate presentation in or from a burger joint before! ( Before you said the buns were brioche, I was thinking they were challah looking. So yellow and marvelous). Presenting slabs of flavored bacon as an appetizer is so clever (never saw that before either). The 50/50 burger - also a novel idea. Indeed, Bill and Lisa, this place *really sky high level in burger cosmos. Wowza!

Not gonna lie, my friend and i went a loooong time ago and got the 50/50 ....we have never felt so sick in all our lives! it was soooo greasy, cus its half bacon but my goodness, I felt like my heart was gonna stop beating

Those burger look great. Just came from Gordon Ramsey burger in Vegas and these burger already looking like they blow those out the water. Ramsey burger start at $25 dollar and don't look half as good.
So is all that food still good left over at home. We live 16 miles from town and I find getting food and bring it hime is just not the same.
We had the leftovers same day, still good. Of course, right off the grill is better.
This is how I like my bacon cooked. I don't like it overcooked or too crispy.

Yes, I like hot foods, but ordering 1 or 2 dishes at a time can create a lot of wait time and timing on the kitchen has to be on point. It's life of a food vlogger, we're used to it now. lol Thanks for watching!

We see that you, Bill, have on a “Baretta” shirt. We are very disappointed to see that with all of the gun violence in the US. Are you wearing that because they sponsor you? Or are you wearing that because you like the guns? If you wear that shirt, you need to state that you support responsible gun ownership. I would hope you support “red flag” laws. We have had a family member die because of the “gun show loophole”. We have followed this channel for a longtime and this is the first time we’ve been conflicted with your choice of clothing.

Hiii Bill! Hiii Lisa! I just adore you folks so much! Every single one of your burgers, are burgers that I would’ve never tried, without your honest review. Out of the four, I would definitely try the turkey burger, as I was born and raised not too far from the Hatch Valley area of New Mexico, so I’m all about green chile and queso. The peanut butter and jealousy burger, I’m still unsure about, but you know what? I put aside my steak and grilled veggies dinner for a PB&J sando. 🥰 The 25 karat, I’m curious about. Thank you both for sharing! I definitely want to take the drive over to the South Bay and try this place out! Take care!!
