Hi Bill and Lisa, Shirley here! I love Jollibee! I’m Chinese, not Filipino so I had never had Jollibee until about 20 years ago. I’ve never really liked spaghetti cause I prefer Alfredo to marinara sauce. Basically I like tomatoes raw and not cooked cause I don’t like tangy flavors. I was highly encouraged to try Jollibee Filipino spaghetti at a potluck at work and once I tried it I was hooked. It’s the only spaghetti that I eat today. Also, I love their palabok, regular fried chicken and especially their peach mango pie. I haven’t had Jollibee in about two months and now you guys made me hungry for Jollibee … guess what I’m having for dinner tonight!!! 🥰🥰🥰
Hi Shirley! Maybe you like Jollibee's spaghetti because they don't use any tomatoes/sauce, but instead banana based. Good stuff!

YUM.......my favorite is the Peach Mango Pie! I live in Branson, Missouri and drove to Dallas, the closest Jollibee for that pie.That pie is the one thing there that is worth the effort. Glad you enjoyed it.

Nice video…next time you have to eat the fried chicken and gravy over some white rice, that is the Pro-tip😜 They used to have UBE pies about 6-7 years ago which I think were better than the peach-mango pies. They probably stopped making them cause UBE was too expensive😭

The spaghetti, made without ANY tomatoes, is an acquired taste. Personally I would not recommend it, but it IS what the Filipinos like so there we are.
I go with what I know will not take me too much aback.
I go to the Jollibee at Southcenter Mall too! Though I usually just end up getting something at the food court inside Seafood City. My go-to for Filipino noms!

Their fried chicken stays crunchy hot.... and cold. The 🍑 🥭 pie is amazing...old school exterior...will have to try the 🍍🌴pie too.😋

So good! Next time, ask for lemon juice for the palabok. Sometimes they give it automatically and sometimes they don’t. But it enhances the flavor of the palabok.

Hi Lisa & Bill! In the same plaza where Jollibee is Chowking. Try their fried chicken there & compare it to the Chickenjoy. Personally, I actually like that better than Jollibee's.
..Jollybee...quite simply, the McDonald's of the Philippines...hugely popular & part of the commercial fast food out there...only problem I have with them are their portions...so small...but overall, the food tastes good.🤙🏽✨🇵🇭
I was drooling😂 I wish we had one here in Fayetteville, NC. Funny thing being from Alabama we always dip our chicken in the mashed potatoes and gravy. Iknow they don't do mash but they should ❤
Jollibee has mashed potatoes with gravy as well, but most of the videos never show the complete menu options. The spaghetti and palabok are just options most people order for the videos. You can get French fries, plain rice, adobo rice, or mash potatoes with gravy as well.
I have a jollibee avout 5 minutes away from my house. Great chicken and I really like the beef steak with steamed rice. Thank you for the content.

The Peach mango pies are to die for and my kids can eat the Jollibee spaghetti by the pound LOL! Glad you enjoyed it all. Love Jollibee! My friend and I eat there at least once or twice a month. Our favorites are the Chickenjoy, Aloha Burger, Spaghetti, Adobo Rice doused with the gravy, Peach Mango Pie and we’re going tomorrow to try the new Pineapple/Mango Quencher.

It's a tad bit overrated for me especially the chicken but I do love the glass noodles with the shrimpy sauce and the spaghetti 😅

Yum!!! (They also still fry the McDonalds Apple Pies in New Zealand… it’s never been anything but fried here. I think the country would go to war with Maccas if they started baking them…)
I’ve been lobbying with Jollibee to open up here in NZ…. Keeping my hopes up as we do have quite a large Filipino population, especially in Auckland, so there’d be a good market!!

I shop at Seafood City in the Southcenter Mall occasionally and I go by bus because I have no car, nor have I ever. It is a 15 mile trip but I like to see what a big Filipino grocery store and the smaller Filipino places near it are offering.
It's always a fun excursion. 😊 😊 😊
Filipinos have a real sweet tooth and banana ketchup is immensely popular.
It and coconut vinegar are used in a LOT of dishes. Their ketchup can (and will )replace American tomato ANYTHING, even tomato sauce with real tomatoes.
It pays to always remember that when anyone dines in a Filipino fast food joint that food will not always taste like one is accustomed to tasting because it is always the Filipino take on whatever.
Pssst, try Bopis and Dinuguan sometime. I have and I also still have lived to tell the tale. 😊

Love you guys and LOVE Jollibee. Opened one across the bay and eat there each time we find ourselves over the bridge. It's the only place I don't feel cheated getting a drumstick. You know there's a Jolibee in Torrance. Yes I been also Carson location. Jolibee fried chicken way better than KFC & Popeyes.
mango pie easily tops MacDonald Apple pie. Also love small Filipino bakery next door neighbor which have delicious bread, sweets etc..

I had a bad experience at Popeyes so I haven't had any fried chicken in a long while. I know, not the same place. But once you're traumatized, its over. Lol.
