Why am I crying?😢 The Cathedral is just breath taking. It looks so incredibly beautiful and intricate. I must plan a trip to Italy. I love the food, people and architecture.❤

6:23 Nobody should skip the rooftop view from the Duomo. When we took the steps to the rooftop we didn’t find them difficult/steep at all.

Hi, welcome to Milan! 1:22 That "needle and thread" art installation symbolizes how the different subway lines unite the city as if to sew it together (the thread is red, green and yellow, the colors of the subway lines existing at the time the installation was finished). Also that station is Cadorna, it's not the main station, Cadorna Station is for regional traffic. The main station is Milano Centrale.

The bread is foccacia" hearth bread" actually developed in Italy.Used universally in sandwiches and as pizza base as well.😉Enjoy Milan!

Bill and Lisa! Oh, how I enjoyed this video you’re in my birthplace. The bread on those Panini’s is focaccia. I make it all the time and then we slice it in the middle and put cold cuts inside such as the ones you ate. That lemon ice cream is called granita and it’s best paired up with chocolate gelato. The granita with Chocolatte is an out of this world combination. My favourite! Thank you so much for sharing and I’m looking forward to the next videos.🤗

Bill, Lisa.....take a walk on the wild side. Go to Naviglio grande/darsena near Porta Ticinese, walk up and down both sides make sure to make a stop at a local bar and have a capuccino or latte in the morning. You'll NEVER forget the experience. I lived in Milano for 17 yrs of my life. Cheers

There are no words to describe the history of the buildings. Yes breath taking, Italy has my heart and votes. Been to many cities in Italy and loved every minute of it. Enjoy, feast on all the foods and be safe. Gods. Blessings🌹

I know you have flight travel benefits from Delta but wonder how do you work out the logistics to and fro when you reach your destination airport. Transport, hotel, local sources, etc, etc.
I think a presentation on how you plan and execute a trip would be immensely interesting and informative.
For this particular trip, since we made hotel reservations prior, we bought employee discounted confirmed seats from LA to NYC because of limited open seats and didn't want to take any chances getting bumped. There were plenty of open seats from NYC to Milan, so we flew standby. As for transportation, we just took the local transit system, was clean and efficient.

I was offered a job at Western Airlines in the late 70's but didn't take it. If the offer was from Delta; I might be kicking my ass now.
All in all, I've lived a somewhat blessed life.

those free water fountains are there to drink, that water is cleaner and higher quality than bottled water in USA. in Rome they have over 2000 of them scattered around the city

I'm watching your video and remembered my trip to Italy and have to say your trip beats what I experienced by 10 miles! I went on a guided tour and found we were rushed and we really didn't enjoy the food at the places we went to. Doing your homework and going to the places you wanted to go to is the way to travel. You are showing me tons of tips and do's for my next trip abroad. Hope you had a great time. If I am to judge your vacation by what you showed us - you totally did!

Hi! Finally on my day off I get to watch this video for a second time because I had to take a closer look of what was one the Porchetta sandwich…olive spread!!! Made a note in my travel planner…Italy is my second dream trip! Been wanting to go since I was in elementary school when my Dad would tell me his stories of his travels to Italy when he was in the US Navy. It will be a tribute in his memory to see all he told me about especially the Sistine Chapel…Thanks for another amazing adventure!!! I’m dreaming of the food now…😊

When Bill panned over in the cathedral, it literally gave me chills!! we watched every single one of your Vlogs. They are the best on RUclips!! My family and I were there last June. The water from the fountains is safe to drink. Lots of Chinese people living in Milan. We didn't have too hard of time with language of your funds them😁
