I love the architecture. Prices on the items you have purchased to date I feel are reasonable. When I travel I save to splurge on dinning and shopping.

Exactly! I’ve been pleasantly surprised throughout these on the prices. Honestly, food and drink seems more affordable than some of the major US cities like NYC, SF, etc.
Just can’t get enough of the architecture in Italy and I remember the “standing”coffee being cheaper than the “sitting” coffee. Nice video. Can’t wait to see more!

The vast amount of Italian marble on the floors and walls is mind blowing. And look at all the intricate carvings and etchings in the floor and walls, so beautiful. I would just love it!

Lol! Never a shortage of Prada! How amazing is it to enjoy some lovely desserts above Prada store! There is a VAT tax we tourists can avoid by showing our passport. Then when you fill out the refund tax forms you get up to 20% back depending if you get cash back or request credit back on your card. I’m prepared for shopping in Italy…lol! Thanks for another great episode!

I am glad to see Biffi is still there. My friend and I had a lunch there years ago. There are many great cafes and eateries in Milan. I never had a bad meal there. I look forward to your next video from Milan.

I loved Spider Man and the Hulk. It all just looks sooo pretty and in the background is the house of Gucci, Prada. I have had one Prada Bag. I carry a Coach Clutch of Patent Leather In got in Redondo Beach. I am love Coach. The architecture is sooo grand and beautiful. The deserts just looked fabdelicious! I loved the lage white cups and saucers the Cappuccinos came in. The fish just looked sooo delicious. Just perfect Bill and Lisa. Enjoyed your content sooo much. Enjoy the rest of your time in Milan. It’s been almost 30 yrs since I visited Italy. Milan was my least favorite of the places I visited but you two have me thinking I just visited the wrong places. Going to be there for a day in June on the way to Como. Thanks for the ideas on where to go!

$1,000 a night at a nice location isn’t that bad in Italy. I was in Florence last month and paid $1,100 a night at the St. Regis in Florence (Firenze). Even a mid level hotel such as Sofitel in Rome cost me $650/night.

Sorry if I missed it but did your phones work to look for directions and restaurants in Italy? Did you have to do anything special if it did work
We mostly used Apple Maps on our iPhones, seemed to work better than Google Maps. We have AT&T, International Passport, $10 a day per phone.

My first comment ever! Just wondering when and what day did you both visit the Galleria? Considering the crowds?
We went there on Monday and Tuesday, 4/24-25. In the afternoon into the evening, it was pretty packed (Tuesday was a National Holiday there). In the next Italy vlog, we went early in the morning, so be sure to check that video out. 👍🏼

Just wondering if they looked at you puzzled when you ordered a cappuccino... Italians never drink cappuccino after 11a. I've noticed that sometimes they laugh at tourists when this is done.
Honestly, we don't care. We can drink cappuccinos all day long. lol!
