One of the best laid out review/comparisons I've ever seen on RUclips, point blank. Quick, to the point, efficient use of time and succinct descriptions without any waste shows respect for viewers. Great job!
He's got a new subscriber for how straightforward and informational he is with his videos!
I thought of buying a handheld vaccum yesterday. And here I am watching a video of a guy who has bought and compared 15 vacuums. I love youtube 😂
nice!
You know, sometimes I just love the start the day with a cup of coffee and a vacuum wars RUclips. Thank you for everything you do. You’ve never steered me wrong.
That is so good to hear! Thank you!
Who needs Amazon reviews when we've got you? Thanks as always 👍👍
Guess you haven’t realized yet all amazon reviews are about shipping damage, how much something cost or paid freebie ads. Never rely on it.
Amazon reviews are such trash
Are you in love with him?
I Agee. Saved me hours of reading.
Thank you
❤️🤎💛🤍🧡💙💚💜❤️
Thanks so much for this. I almost bought a handheld last night but backed off because I felt I should’ve researched first. Thanks for doing that for me. You’ve saved me a lot of time!😄
Great to hear!

This is the best video I’ve found in terms of honest reviews! This video should pop up before any other sponsored junk. Love how you kept it brief and comparisons were on point! Exceptional work! Thank you! 🙏🏽
Wow, thank you!
Excellent review. Thank you! I went with the Bissell Pet Hair Eraser, and so far I am very happy with it.
Yay excited for this video!! One issue I noticed when researching is a lot of the handheld vacuums seem to have battery problems in a couple of months, which deterred me every time I found one that seemed to be a good fit
I think the battery dreinage over time is a result of leaving the vacuum plugged in for a long time (or just consistently). Rechargeable batteries tend to lose that stamina if continuously plugged in. I see the same thing with Makita portable tool batteries, where I killed one of those batteries pretty quickly over the course of a year by leaving it continuously plugged in. Learning that lesson, I now only let the battery charge for about half an hour, and then I take it off the charger. That has really helped the battery life, to the point where the battery rarely needs a recharge. I am sure portable vacuums are the same way.
@@sceneitallwithjeffandjon6984 You don't want to leave the battery on the charger for a limited time, you want to let it charge until full. I have had my dewalt batteries for over 8 years and they are all still as good as new. I run them until nearly empty, then I leave them on the charger until charged, but try not to leave them on much longer than that. One of the big reasons not to leave your batteries on the charger is the risk of starting a fire. I had a friend who worked construction who's wife walked into the garage one day to find the battery spewing out smoke and then she unplugged it, she noticed there were flames too. If she hadn't walked out when she did, they could have lost their house.
Thank you! This was really helpful in narrowing down my choice while I'm shopping for one of these right now. I especially like the fact you rated noise levels - something which so many reviews leave out, but which is very relevant to many people. Well done!
You are so welcome! Thanks!

We truckers watch this stuff and use these little things every second we have. I actually use the bissell aeroslim. The size and power is perfect for the driver’s seat leather and the floor boards. It doesn’t take up much space and is easily charged somewhere in the truck because we have charging ports all over the place
I'm also a truck driver this morning I was going to clean out my Dyson v6 trigger a great vacuum but the vacuum got to close to the vent for under bunk heater and melted the plastic can't believe it
@@4801328 Professional driver personal problems haha! Love it
Are there vacuums that you used and liked that have the option to use it with cord? (I personally like more the possibility to work from 110-220 volt than from the battery, I really don't mind the cord)
P.S.
Maybe people are ok with buying new vacuums now and then, but I'm not, I want to buy something for which will be useful for many years. The problem of battery powered vacuums is that the battery degenerates relatively quickly, few months, maximum few years. And that's not nice (I don't care much about the pollution, but then again maybe I do, because I really don't like to create waste in form of these batteries, every few years, if not every few months).
Shark WV203 has been one of my favourite purchases.
It doesn't hold much, but I do use it as a spot pickup or quick tidy of the couch mostly, the bin size hasn't ever been an issue for those.
The suction power is awesome for its size as is the quick release bin.
Having atleast a semi sealed system was a massive bonus for me, so much talk on standard vacuums without it being dangerous for those with dust allergies, but then noone giving a damn about handhelds.
Using it, with its sawn off shotgun style is a joy, very easy to hold in the hand and get into crevices, probably one of the major reasons I enjoy it so much, I find it fun to hold.
That is great to hear!
I got the Aeroslim because it fits in my backpack. Sometimes I have to drill or cut into drywall and create a small mess on someone's work desk or office floor. For about $30, it's the only hand held that made sense. We've found it useful for crumbs in the bed because it's not so strong that the blankets or sheets plug it up.
Glad to hear it works well for you!
I just found this video and decided to grab the aeroslim for my desk. My cats are always walking over it, there's no real "volume" of debris but constant minor dirt and pet hair (and litter dust) that makes its way. It sits behind my monitors without taking up any real space, and is easy to grab and clean around my desk without being loud, intrusive, or hard to get in the tight spaces.
Right tool for the right job, I think I will get the IRobot for my actual handheld needs (stairs, couch, etc) where the debris is bigger, the jobs are more substantial, and the attachments matter.
This is incredible. Straight to the point no faff and easy to follow.
Wow thanks for the review! I love the competitions for the numerous category’s of vacuums, very informative.
Thank you!
Never thought about using one of these for the car. Thanks for the vid!
Shout out to the Jimmy. It's still available - I bought mine late last year and it works like a charm as per the review!
Wow! This was so helpful--you were very thorough in covering a wide range of options and features. Thank you!
You are so welcome!
Man you do great reviews! Extremely well thought out, great sample side, just fantastic.
Thank you!!!
Very thorough. Thanks for doing all the work! Very helpful
Found your review on Amazon under a handheld vacuum I was considering. Came straight here when finished - assuming your comprehensive, transparent, and simply brilliant work would yield more vids over here - and now you have a new subscriber!!
Also THANK YOU so, so much!!! Exhausted working mom here who has no time to read hundreds of Amazon reviews. I just need someone to give me exactly what you have here. You Rock!!
Wow! Thank you!
Which one did u get
@@xeniastephenson8076 I got the Bissell Pet Hair Eraser, and so far so good. We have a 'fenced' in play area for the baby in our living room with some of those baby cushioned floor tiles - hard to clean because I'm not going to use the house broom or big vacuum where the baby crawls but I still need to clean around her toys and kitchen set.
It's been about a month and as for keeping the baby's playspace clean of her crumbs every day, it has been great for that. But it has also been great for sucking up hair, dust, carpet fibers, and anything else that falls in there. I've also only had to charge it once so far using it less than 10min every other day or so for a month.
I don't know how the others perform, but this one is too loud for our 1yr old who finds something about the sound scary. And this is a city baby who hears ambulances and fire trucks close up on the street from her stroller often and is ok, but does not like this vacuum.
Other than that, I recommend it!
Now THAT is how you do a product comparison!!!
I would read your comparisons on products I don't even want! Very well done!!!
Thanks so much!
Dang this is tons of information crammed into this five minute video! I had to stop and pause a couple of times just to read all the lists! You're a through tester my guy
Thanks!!
Wow, informative, well-researched, concise yet thorough and everything you want in a good RUclips presentation
Thank you!
Thanks for the doing a handheld cordless vacuum test! Next time can you also mention if the units have replaceable battery packs (good for swapping batteries without stopping) or if the batteries are integrated and not user replaceable (kind of a waste to throw away a good vacuum if only the battery fails).
Thanks for this - just ordered a Homasy. Love the detailed spreadsheet comparison
You helped me decide on a house vacuum and now a car vacuum. Your reviews are invaluable.
Thank you!
Finally an honest not paid for review
Thank you for the demonstration , I find it very informative 👍
This review was so impressive, thank you for all of your hard work.
Much appreciated!
And thank you so mucj for your awesome reviews!! You were the reason i bought the pet pro carpet cleaner and i looove it!!
This is one of the best videos on youtube. Clear concise and no time wasted
Thank you!
I would love an updated version of these tests!
It's not in the works right now but we agree that will be a good one. Thanks for asking.
@@VacuumWars Thanks for updating and I appreciate the work you put in!
I too would like to see an updated version and also the spreadsheet made available. Curious how you generated the scores for some of these, and also I want to sort/analyze some myself. @@VacuumWars
@@VacuumWars would also really love an updated version of this video! We use your videos for all our vac purchases, and our handheld "pet hair on the couch" vacuum is on its last legs. Please consider reviewing some new models!
Perfect timing. Looking to buy one now. Thank you!
Thank you for your detailed reviews. This will be the second time you helped me with purchesing a vacuum.
It’s great to hear we have helped. Thank you for watching.
Your review is the most helpful thing when it comes to purchasing decisions! I hope you review more than just vacuums😋
Thank you!
I bought a shark cordless through recommendation by this channel.... One of my best purchases for years!
Thankyou Vacuum Wars!
Great to hear! Thanks!
This was far more exciting than I expected
Your videos are super clear and well-produced.
Thank you!
Love the scientific approach!
My normal vacuum is a Dyson pet. But I just picked up the shark cordless pet handhelds. I have to say I’m very impressed. Better than anything B&D make.
This is awesome!! My 70+ parents need a very good handheld vacuum for their travel trailer and now I can recommend the prefect one! Thank you thank you thank you!
Great to hear! Thank you!
The goat, helps me pick my next vacuum every time 🙌🏼
Thanks for the videos, now having family that really like snacking on the car i want these vacuum thing 😂
Exactly what I needed! Thank you.
Excellent review, loved the thoroughness and objective data. Bought a pet hair eraser through your link 👍.
Hope you enjoy it! Thank you!
Seems like just yesterday you were at 100K...now a few months later nearly doubled. Well deserved! Great video as always sir
Thank you!
Thank goodness for people like you. Thank you.
I'm so happy that you test them on pet hair. Thank God!!!
Such a frustrating market. The Homacy is no longer very easy to find. It may've been discontinued.
Thank you for going through the trouble for this video, but consumer products like these are just no longer being designed to last: the effort now goes into their marketing. Shame. A video like this one _should_ remain in use for *years* to inform consumers, but instead it becomes obsolete in six months!
How is it that I was able to keep an old 'as seen on TV' corded Shark in use/abuse for two decades, but now each contestant looks as though its charging cord will tear out within the year? Ha! A year-and that's supposing the (non-replaceable) battery hasn't already gone and that none of its cheap plastic parts have broken.
We're in serious need of an engineering/design renaissance. Not one of these have impressed me. Ruggedness and design elegance are just not things that can easily be put to a spreadsheet, I guess; some lessons we only learn _after_ having owned a product!
Back to my search.
When we gave China our manufacturing, we gave up our quality. China doesn't care how long things last in the US. They just want the initial sale.
And there you have your answer.
Trump understood this. Biden Doesn't care about this.
@@SouthernFryd Nothing that you've said has any basis in reality. Your partisan "answer" to what drives a consumer market has you confusing correlation with causation. Further, as far as appropriate replies to my original comment could go, that comment was about a well-fit as a belch.
Man, am I sick of dumb.
Oh, and by the way: we finally went with the *Bissell 'Pet Hair Eraser,'* and I must admit to being rather pleased with the overall design after several months of use. It's nice and quiet.
You asked why Quality has went down. I answered. The answer is not unique or earth shattering. Most people know this.
Why you don't like the answer is your problem...not mine.
Have a good day.
The iRobot H1 occasionally goes on sale for half-price, at $125. (It's actually on sale on iRobot's site RIGHT NOW as I type this)
I've had mine for a year-and-a-half (I also got it at half-price) and at that price, i can honestly say I think it's ABSOLUTELY worth it.
Thank you for the reviews. I don't trust Amazon review anymore because they block my bad reviews. You make my shopping go easy. Thank you very much.
Thank you for the information. Need to buy one and this helps in my decision.
That's a great comparison, just the right time for a 2023 update :-)!!!!!
Great review, would love to see some tool brands put to the test please
Very thorough video, thank you for the effort put into making this
My pleasure!
Fantastic, as always. I look forward to your reviews.
Much appreciated!
When you do an update, please include whether or not there is a wall mount charger. A lot of us want to mount these on a wall to save floor space. Thanks!
Any advice on models to pick based on reliability? Excluding the most expensive ones, I'd be interested to know your thoughts on which ones are more likely to hold up without malfunctions longterm. Especially for your top pick, the Homasy.
Best channel for Vacuum hands down! Thank you so much for all the work you do !!!
Wow, thank you!
Just ordered the Homasy (HM207C) through your link. Awesome video! I was going nuts reading so many reviews and didn't even know about this brand. Thank you!
Thank you! I hope you enjoy it!
You did a great job on this. Thank You
Surprisingly comprehensive review/tier list video. Need videos like these for every type of product in existence.
You literally have the best, informative videos on this platform.
I appreciate that!
Thanks for this video - just what I needed to make my decision!
Glad to have helped. Thank you for watching!
I love how it sounds like and feels like I am watching Wonder Years ,OG version, or it could be Sand Lot just for vacuums.
You have earned my subscription! Full of details!!
Thank!
You should do the main power tool ones. Dewalt Milwaukee, makita, rigid, ryobi, craftsmen. Not the shopvac but they all make a handheld one. That a good amount of service men use.
Yes please!
Great testing, great explanations, good length... very well done
Thank you very much!
Amazes me the time and effort you put into this to help consumers thanks !
Thank you!
Thank you! I was wondering which handheld to buy and you made it incredibly easy!
Glad I could help! I hope you can find the one you want!
Great review. I bought the shark w1 just to hit the corners and around items that my robot vac can’t reach
Would you be able to make a good recommendation for someone who works for a cleaning company? A big problem that slows me down At work is the back and forth of not know if you need a vaccum and then going to have to grab one. Most of my messes are small and just things like paper stairs. Any imput would be helpful.
just subbed!
could you please do a corded version of this?
My dirt devil hand vac kicked the dust and I am looking for something similar with an integrated beater bar that is inexpensive
Happy Father’s Day I hope you and everybody else have a wonderful and amazing Father’s Day also I love the 4K quality.
An additional parameter to consider during a future reviews (of any battery-powered units actually) -- whether the battery is removable.
I have a B&D Pivot which I'll need to replace solely because they don't appear to sell a replacement battery.
I loved my Pivot but that battery is DIABOLICAL to replace even if you disassemble.
Thank you very much
That information what I need.
You did great job
Your comparison was comprehensive
Well done 👏
Thank you so much!
I have the ultracyclone and they make a pet version which comes with a motorized power brush... and evn your link has the power brush, but you labeled it as missing it...
This is epic.
Outstanding review. That Homasy looks good but also looks like it got end-of-lifed. I have Kobalt tools, wish they had a handheld like this so I could use my batteries, but they only have a mini wet-dry vac. At 3 gallons it is way over the size I have in my camper.
Bless you for this! Also the 4.7 vacs to one premium vac killed me 😂
Just got the iRobot H1 on sale for half off, awesome purchase, thanks for providing the metrics I was curious about! Great value at the reduced price!
Glad I could help!
Wow iRobort H1 has just been launched in UK. I was planning on buying the same. How has it been so far. I especially need a Heavy duty for pets & traffic on our staircase
Which would be best for cleaning ash out of a pellet smoker? There’s never much do a cheap cordless would be best. My Dyson stops working after like 2 min I’m guessing that the ash clogs the filter until I clean it out.
Great video. Which vacuum would you recommend for the occasional ash that falls off a cigar? That's all I need it for. Thank you
Best vacuum test you’ll find and very understandable and well laid out. Just a suggestion. Perhaps a bit more on ergonomics please. Ty.
Thank you!
By far the best channel for vacuum reviews. You are soo detailedz I wish you would do all reviews of all things
Wow, thank you!
Thank you, you nailed this review, like no one ever.
My pleasure!
Please do a "Which Tineco is best bang for buck" video. Great video
would be nice to see a review of the vacuums that run off a 12V car outlet.
I'm curious about these battery powered vacuums that are sold as a part of a battery line ecosystem of home tools that range from lawn care, DIY power tools and home cleaning. They are are usually sold in home improvement stores like Home Depot or direct manufacturers websites. The 2 systems I've been interested in is EGO and Hart. Ryobi is also been of interest but found out that the same manufacture that makes ryobi also makes Hart and this company has a more fully realized vacuum line up.
Just wow. For a cleaning obsessed guy like myself this video really checked all the marks on research and experimentation. Not to mention it took only a few minutes of my time to watch vs. 3+ hours of in depth research and saving a bowl of $$$ on testing them personally. A loyal subscriber now.
Hey that is great! Thank you!
Excellent video and breakdown of details!!
Glad you liked it!
one of THE MOST honest and profesional reviews out there
good job and thank you
Thanks so much!
You’re a godsend! You are so thorough thankyouforthisvideo I need one for my room and car
Glad I could help!
Wow! I'm impressed by your hard work! Thank you! :)
Thanks!
Thank you thank you thank you! This was super helpful. 👌 just perfect!
You're so welcome!
Which one would you recommend for cleaning up VERY long human hair 4-5ft strands off of tile floors?
Great video.
I have a question I cant seem to get answered... These handheld, when emptying them they allow dust to escape back into the air, its frustrating. Do any handhelds come with little bag options?
Thank you for your hard work. I really appreciate it!!! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Thank you for watching!
