Claudia, Maya and myself are so happy you guys watched this! Houston was BEAUTIFUL! I didnt get enough of the city in such short time! thank you for being so welcoming and sweet in real life and in these comment sections!!
Sooooo, I want to meet Chef Alex (the second one) and eat and hang out with him. He was so cool and the way he spoke of the original owner was so loving and caring. You can tell he loves food and respects the art of it all. Let me plan this trip real quick, lol.
I'm Nigerian and i'm lowkey getting addicted to pero like... It's like a series with characters and soul. Good job guys. Whoever came up with the idea of perolike should be given two bottles of African beer on my tab.
Opayeme, as long as you like Mexican food, I'd like sharing a good meal with you including your choice of; CartaBlanca, Tecate, Bohemia, or any other brand. If something a little stronger: Presidente, Viejo Vergel, Bucannans, or your preference.
I'm so glad they included Mama Ninfa's because my mother worked there and always talked about it when I was younger. This showed how much more the restaurant is to not only the family, but to the workers and the customer who go there religiously. It's like she left a legacy in Houston. I hope soon everyone will be able to go and try their amazing food at any of the locations around Houston, but especially the main and first one @ Navigation.
I grew up in Houston we have all kinds of different foods from various cultures I miss the food especially the Mexican food/Tex Mex!! I can't believe y'all were there. I love this channel it makes me happy!!!!!
I'm from Houston, but I live in Taiwan now for over 8 yrs...I'm so happy you guys experienced the great food that Houston has but I'm also a bit jealous too! lol!
The second Chef is awesome I love that he actually ate with them. like that he couldn't even really talk because his mouth was full that's how you know the food is good
Curly from Salvi to Salvi next time your in Htown you should check out Glorias it's upscale Salvadorean & Texmex cuisine but there are sooo many bomb pupusas places in Htown we got the best pupusas here

You guys should really put the featured restaurants in the comments with the link to their websites! I live in Houston, this would just make it easier for them to actually get more traffic. Please do this!!!
I just love people who came to my hometown! I’m so proud of these people who came 👍👍 You know I tried Mexican meals since many past years, so now I tried new ones for the best 😀🙌
It makes me happy to watch the videos that you guys produce. It's so nice to see representation as a Mexican Mujer living the American dream. Muchas gracias ❤

I just miss being home in Texas...video made me home sick for my Tex-Mex (all these new restaurants are new to the Texas state-more Mexican than Tex-Mex. Not what I grew up on at all but would love to try), and reminded me that missing my Whataburger, bbq, and Bluebell icecream. Would I drive threw Houston to get it??? I dont know...driving through Houston is awful.
Yes, I'm glad they went to ninfas. My father and tio Albert used to work there back then and they knew mama ninfa before she passed. It is definitely one of the best in my home city of H-Town.
You guys need to try the the best dish from Mexico it's Huitlacoche (corn mushroom) but if you guys want to make it on your own you'll need more stuff but to buy the actual thing it's at least like ten dollars where I get them
