Just as well the Touareg comes with standard driver autonomous safety aids as there's a lot of distractions on that screen 😬
I'm old enough to remember driving before all this infotainment and mobile phone distractions and basic driver skills were way better than they are now IMHO.
All the tech is good but many individuals do not know how to limit their digital intake and become consumed and distracted, which affects their driving, judgement and basic courtesy of other road users.
Very good show of the new Touareg infotainment system nonetheless Tim, thanks 👍

We mentioned in another video where it's a bit like a nest thermostat, its exciting at first but at the end of the day it just stays out of the way whilst driving!

It looks amazing and it’s what will likely sway people from buying a Q7 but the climate controls don’t look easy to adjust while driving and ultimately it’s the same issue with the new Audi MMi system. The BMW 7 series is far more developed here in that they have thought about his while still making the design more advanced with the touch sensitive buttons.

How would you compare it to BMW iDrive, Audi MMI and Mercedes MBUX?

That steering wheel looks so out of place in such a high quality car 🤣

    INCOMING....
Porsche / Audi / VW reliability is not so much a grey area as it is for Volvo or Lexus. They are simply unreliable. They come 33rd out of 39 on Reliability Index with a reliability index of 190. They have consistently been at the bottom half of the dependability charts, as have many of their German counterparts. The Audi A3 has a reliability score of 138, with average repair costs amounting to £432.21. It spends on average 2.82 hours off road, which isn’t too bad. The engine accounts for most of the problems, with 27.42%.

If we look at the Audi Q7, then it is even worse news. It has a reliability index of 423 which is impressive but in all the wrong ways. The average repair costs are very steep, at £731.35 and it is off the road for around 3.35 hours. The engine again accounts for most of the problems, at 33.67%.......YIKES
