My husband has work grade suspenders for heavy work, they are made of mostly canvas and metal clips, my concern is if i put them in the cycle will the metal rust? Thanks
Hi! tThat material sounds like it might not do well in a wash. We would need to see them. I would try washing those by hand. You could try them in a mesh bag in a very gentle cycle, cool water, no bleach, air dry. With metal in general, it depends on the quality of the metal as to whether it will rust. Hope that helps!
Ah yes....the one type of suspender you don't cover are your Work/Logger Suspenders. They are lots of elastic AND leather! and get very dirty. So I'm trying the gentle soap wash....and I'll expect to re-treat the leather after. fingers crossed.
The worst part about suspenders is that they touch the floor of the stall when you use a public bathroom
How?
I got elastic suspenders and they ain’t stained yet and I bought a pair of trousers and it was like a hole new way of looking like I was in 1870-1911
you have an awesome store with quality stuff!
Thank you! Exactly what I needed to know! 😁

You're awesome, Dave! Keep up the good work. Putting feibings.com in the description would help.

I'm guessing you can't iron them? Mine are getting very crinkled atm
Please do not iron if they have elastic in them. If it is a silk or cloth section a very light ironing might be OK.
@@catsailor83 I've read online that you can use the steam of the iron to get out the crinkles, as long as the actual iron doesn't touch it
@@xdmellor7562 I have not heard that. I would just be very careful. Heat cannot be good for the elastic
