The single most important part of any suspender is the clip. Clips with pins provide trustworthy holding capability and avoid that embarrassing moment of truth when it slips off and your pants sag. All other features of suspenders are secondary.
After going through a few suspenders, I say skip the clip and go straight to buttons. If you don't want to commit to buttons, get clip on buttons. Then, when you change your mind to wanting to keep the suspenders, you just sew on buttons and don't need to buy new suspenders
Informative, very nice, although I was looking for the synonym for suspenders that is often used for the high end style. A couple days later I found the term braces; English?
With the plastic clips suspenders, wouldn't you have to have the compatible female clip sewn on the pants? That's what I assume, and that is why it is surprising to me that I cannot find those sold as an item. Any guidance?
Thanks; however, though your voice and information is quite thorough, I would prefer seeing close-ups of the suspenders, while you explain the various use, types and styles.
After tryinf many suspenders, I have to say I think pin clip and trigger snap hold the best. I noticed that on the slide adjustment of novelty suspenders they many times give way and slide down a bit. The logger suspenders don't seem to slide down. I really like the look of the tape measure suspenders and wish I could find those in a heavy duty no slip version. I think the X back is better than the Y back. Do you have any new additions coming?
I've been wearing suspenders/braces for literally decades. The only ones worth having are double leather straps, wide over the shoulder elastic. Buttons on the inside, naturally. Clip-on are particularly bad as they degrade the trousers eventually. Reject non-elastic out of hand. Jack, the Japan Alps Brit That's right, RUclips, delete my hard-won experience, yet again.
As a customer of the suspender store, this was a great video, very well done. I wanted to know more about types of suspenders you did a great job.

Should have your website in the description
This video is therapeutic.
The most important thing sbout suspenders is that you don't wear clip suspenders. Buttons are the only respectable way to wear suspenders.

What exactly are you wearing?
HI Mike! - it looks like I'm wearing a 1.5 inch Finger Clip suspender. One of the most popular and standard styles.
The very best suspenders are the variety which hook on to your belt with hooks thus pulling up
on your belt.
Suspender available in India are only Small sizes, Baby sizes. You will never found Large and X-Large sizes not less than 125cms, WHY?
We have no idea. Maybe they just are not popular?
Actually, I don't think Indians wear traditional pants in their homeland.
All l want is to purchase suspenders
