Sharon Tate.. and thinking about her, is the only person who can bring me to tears. She was a very special person gone much too soon and in such a horrific way.
That’s exactly how I feel as well. The memory of her has captured the hearts of many. She seemed so pure, and to leave this world in that way, just so very tragic. And such a loss.
The only problem I have with Michelle Phillips remembering what happened to Sharon and her almost breaking down into tears over it is that she slept with and had a brief like 3 month long affair with Roman Polanski in the spring of 1969 just a few months before Sharon died and I believe she feels some guilt and shame over betraying Sharon in that way even though Polanski may have initiated the affair we don't know that for sure. I think it's kinda hypocritical that she should even comment on it given the situation even though I like Michelle with the Mama's & The Papa's.
I agree. Poor Sharon Tate was one pure soul. And she really dealt with a lot. But I think Sharon Tate is so kind and so genuine. She would not hold a grudge. ❤❤❤
Yeah, that's fine, an end of an era blah blah. But I'm impressed by comments by Bill Tennant, business associate of those at the centre of this, who identified the bodies that morning for the police, and suffered emotional trauma forever because of it. Don't believe that 'bullshit' he said about how Hollywood lost its innocence over it, he said. They had no innocence to lose, he added. Most of those people (Sharon's close friends excluded) didn't 'give a shit about Sharon' or the others, because they 'weren't important' he said, no more important than a character written out of a TV show. That's why most of them never told what they knew about Manson, his cult, or the real story behind the scenes. They only cared about themselves and their 'reputations', so called. Tennant was right. Source: Tom O'Neil's book on this case, 2019, interview with the late Mr Tennant. These Hollywood people and their hanger-on associates, exceptions excluded, are a bunch of phonies, then and now.
To me it did seem that from 69 to 70 the whole atmosphere seemed to change. Maybe was this idea of love, peace, trust and brotherhood..forget the drugs that it would be a great world but it seemed like trouble was on the way..A bad Moon Rising

They reveal a beautiful soul. That girl never had a mean bone in her body. She, to me, was the perfect example of everything that was good and wholesome about the 1960s, and those that stole her from us represented the ugly, negative and evil that was about to sprout...

Yes indeed and I'll never forget what happened to her. Never.

Peace is a desire, war a fact and human history has never paid heed to human desires and ideals. - Oswald Spengler
what its the name of this documentary?
Well when you dance with the devil he always leads
Probably felt those old feelings of guilt for sleeping with Roman while in London as Sharon was at her home waiting for the birth of their child.

Charles 'Tex' Watson was the killer....
I have an issue with Michelle Phillips
Same- thought it was just me..she seems more upset about the "era"
being over, rather than being upset about the murders....IMO.
Era los tiempos del que amaba a Dios lucas hijo de Cristo
What documentary is this
A poor old has been or never was
Lmao what
Ate you talking about Michelle? A never was? No.
Are you talking about Michelle? A never was? No.
Oh, Sharon! Her eyes radiated such childish naivety...
If only she could have gotten away from Roman!
