You didn't blow or waste a single minute on that super steep hill. You two seemed to be having a blast playing on it. Also, I am sure it takes a lot longer to film something like that. I kept thinking how many times did you guys go up and then run back for a camera? Great video!
the theme of the day It wasn't coinvent to walk up that hill, but you did your hearts good that's what is important walking up that hill and you had a blast together.
I really want to give you guys props, I have been following for about 6 years now, and it was obviously awesome pre-covid, but that was "easy". Watching you guys sail, and travel and explore...really all the things that made this channel so cool was amazing. These last couple of years have been anything but "easy". I really want to thank you for making it so interesting for us viewers, despite ALL the crazy challenges over the last couple of years. Somehow you find a way to continue to come up with interesting content for us. Thank you, and I cant wait to see you guys get the dream boat you deserve, and get back to exploring and traveling the world like you deserve.
They have made the Covid years very interesting! Thank you Wynn’s!! Love your channel. My husband and I have been watching for years now and never a dull moment!
Fun fact: This world's steepest street was temporarily not the world's steepest street from July 2019 to April 2020, because a town called Harlech in North Wales claimed they had a steeper street called Ffordd Pen Llech (gotta love the Welsh language) with a gradient of 37.45% compared to Baldwin's 35%. But Guinness gave the record back to Baldwin Street because they determined the best way to measure and calculate the gradient was to do it from the centerline. And according to that, Baldwin Street had a gradient of 34.8 percent while Ffordd Pen Llech had a gradient of 28.6 percent. So the Kiwis stole the Welsh's thunder
There is a very steep road in Cape Town South Africa between two parallel streets. I think it is called Bellevue road. Gradient unknown but it feels at least 25%
Thank you for talking about mental health! It's very easy to get stuck in that cycle of bad mental health if you don't address things, and it's so, so, so important to acknowledge your struggles and reach out for help as part of the healing process.
How precious, they mate for life & then seeing a pair of Yellow-eyed Penquins sneaking off to their secluded spot. So sad to hear only 200 left. Baldwin Street sure was steep. Can't imagine driving on it, living on it, nor walking on it. You 2 were funny demonstrating the steep incline of Baldwin giving us the impression Jason was clinging on for dear life. So very much enjoy seeing you both & all you share with us. New Zealand is beautiful. Those balls, wow, huge. Looked like the one Nikki was standing next to was placed into that hillside like it belonged there. A lot of mysteries out there. Look forward to next week. Have a good week.
Funny how you described those boulders as concrete, because that's basically what they are! They're concretions (more specifically Septarian), which are masses of matter formed when a mineral precipitates and cements sediment around a nucleus. These aren't just a NZ thing and can be found from Bowling Ball Beach in northern California to Torysh, Kazakhstan. But the Moeraki ones are still special for their sizes because they're typically smaller.
We sold our dream homesstead to move to NZ and covid hit so my husband and I where stuck in limbo till a 2 months ago. We took the opportunity to visit most of the states out of our jeep but finally have a home in the north Island. Watching you has been my inspiration and push so thank you. On a side note, leopard seals visit NZ this time of your especially on the west coast of the south island. Keep an eye out.
Nikki I am so happy that you have found a therapist. Even more proud of you and your strength to make this journey. Plus you didn’t give up and found the right therapist w/o just quitting. I’ve taken this journey and it is well worth the time it takes to heal yourself. A lot of people are either not strong enough or have enough patience to go thru this process. Love and encouragement from me to you!! Enjoyed video greatly. Thanks for showing us this part of NZ with all its beauty and unusual places. Y’all are so much fun to watch. Stay safe!! ❤️ Diane Roper
OMG! I have been there 9 time’s to see the penguins and have only seen them once. What a rare and exceptional opportunity for you to see and photograph them. Thanks so much for sharing
So happy you went to see the Moeraki Boulders! I’m a Californian and pulled over there on a summer day in ‘93 or so, on my way to stay with a friend in Dunedin. They are crazy & surreal! And your penguin couple sighting…..sooooooo special🥰 We are very fortunate that you continue to share your adventures in nature with us 🙏🏻❤️
Thank you for talking about mental health. It is so easy to assume that other than the challenges of boat or van life you, and others living that life who share on social media, don't have other challenges. No past traumas, no relational issues with friends or family, no self doubts, no mental health struggles. Thank you for sharing enough for us to understand that this isn't the case without, I hope, feeling too exposed. Thank you for sharing how you have sought help even from the remoteness of your boat. I know that sponsorship helps you financially and its also beneficial to the sponsor but more than your other sponsors, I think, I can have a huge impact on an individual viewer. Most of us don't live in places that are as isolated and without access to physical or mental healthcare as you often find yourselves but that doesn't mean that the health professional is the best match. As you said, Nikki, you changed your counsellor twice before finding the one you were most comfortable with. This sponsorship will hopefully give people the courage, the opportunity, the sense of support to try (or try again) to seek out the help they need. Again, thank you.
Great points…… during the past two years, I’ve heard several RUclipsrs speak of mental health and Help available, in fact just in the past week this is the 3rd channel that I follow speak of how great a fit they found w/better help. 👍❤️🌴
I really appreciate that you only work with sponsors for products and services that you actually use and recommend. I used better help last year and think it’s great. I started using surf shark on your recommendation and also like. This is how advertising should work. Thanks!
I think I speak for most, over the years of watching we have become even more invested in YOU, than in your adventures. The temptation for many RUclipsrs is to film only what you perceive WE will find interesting. Speaking from personal experience, living to please others is exhausting. That is how people burn out. We want YOU to succeed. Please put your own oxygen mask on first. Have Fun, Enjoy, Discover, Experience, and Conquer whatever is interesting to you. If you love it, we will love it. But even more importantly it blesses us to see you happy, and rested, and taking care of yourself. We'll still be here.
Every video you two do is great, but this one is truly one of your BEST! Who'd a thunk some of your best work would be done when you were no longer live on Curiosity! BTW: my Curiosity Sail Duffle arrived two days ago and it's FANTASTIC! I'm so glad I bought it and, hopefully, in a year to two when my catamaran is finished I'll use it to lug some of my gear onto my new floating home. A dream that was awakened by following you, the "Z Crew", SV Delos and more. Thanks for all you do for those who are living vicariously through you and those like me who at age 65 are about to start a new chapter of our lives 'out there on the water!'
First of all I want to say that you, Nikki, are a VERY good example of someone who doesn't show anything on the outside of what you're dealing with on the inside... mental health is a real thing. Thank you for opening your world with your honestly. Secondly, as I've said before... LOVE NZ... been to Christchurch (pre earthquake) when the cathedral was laden with flowers on every flat space, including the floor... it was a sight to behold. Been to Dunedin and all it's glory and quirkiness... traveled around the southern tip to Milford Sound where we spent a romantic Valentines Day! Can't wait to see where you go next!!! :)
Take me back to my old home town of Dunedin, what a memory tour and the Moeraki boulders was special too as we used to visit a wonderful cafe in Moeraki Bay called Fleurs Place. No longer open just now but maybe again one day when the visitors build up. Really enjoying the land travels as you transition through your break until the next boat sets sail. Kind regards.
Penguins were so cute and your imitation of them was great Nikki. Unbelievable to see that road and I live the way you both crazy filmed it. Oh my gosh Nikki, can I ever relate to your struggle with transition. The past 14 months have been a greater struggle than any other time in my life. I won’t go into details, it’s a long story and we all have our problems, some wayyy worse than mine. Suffice it to say I have been in grief counseling and am so thankful for Laura. She’s a wonderful, caring woman and I appreciate every time I am scheduled to see her! If I wasn’t already seeing her I would probably check out the service you mentioned. It’s a great idea. To anyone struggling right now I can only say if you are PLEASE make arrangements, if at all possible, to get some help. It is invaluable and will be one of the best things you can do for yourself! Thank you both for your wonderful videos and for the services you mention on your channel even if it’s just Surf Shark! God bless you both!
There's a steep road leading up to the Universal Amphitheater in LA that I had to navigate in stop and go traffic before a concert, with my little Toyota Corolla with a manual transmission. I'd move 4 feet, brake and pull the handbrake to hold me in position and when I had to move forward again there was usually car inches behind me so I had to take my foot off the brake, gun the engine, then release the handbrake and move another 4'. By the time I got to the top I was covered in sweat from the fear of my car rolling back and hitting the car behind me.
Awww the penguins and their story made me cry. How magical that you got to see them. I’ve seen Fairy Penguins in Victoria. That was special too but not as special as you two alone on the beach with them. ❤️ It looks so cold and wonderful. I am so glad you decided to film more in New Zealand (I have never been even though I live in Australia). Love the steep hill footage, that made me laugh. Great video all round. Hugs xx
For a couple people in "limbo", seems like you're having lots of cool litter adventures! Love that!! I haven't been in "limbo" since 2010, when I relocated from California back to Texas. Experienced it a few times in my life. When planned (like yours and mine in 2010), it can be very fun and you get to see lots of new things/places. When "unplanned", as in unexpected job relocation or to help family, it can be stressful. I like the "planned" version. Seen a lot of the US and Canada during my "limbo" periods. Thanks for sharing!! Really need to make a New Zealand trip!!
Thank you so much for stopping in our little city of Dunedin, NZ. So sorry for the weather but thrilled that you got to see a pair of Yellow Eyed Penguins (embarrassing pause) as I've never seen them and I've lived here for years. The little Blue Penguins near the Royal Albatross Colony at the end of the Otago Peninsula are also an absolutely delight and you can see up to nearly hundred come out of the water on any one night.
Can’t tell you how much you add to your videos with your facts about wildlife, architecture, and historical background. I really look forward to your little productions and how much goes into them. Aces, guys, aces.
Thank you for another brilliant and beautiful video. It would be easy to think this is an absolutely wonderful lifestyle, anything but limbo. I appreciate your focus on Mental Health I could certainly use some help. Whatever traumas you've gone through Nikki it's good to see you taking in your best life.
Fantastic video. Absolutely loved the penguins. What a privilege to get to see them! Thank you so very much for your honesty about transitions, trauma and limbo. It is more helpful than I can express. Shared humanity makes you feel less alone on the planet. Thank you so much. Great fun and storytelling with the boulders and the steep street. Just plain fun to watch.
I would not want to be the one to drive down that steep grade with no brakes. I had a terrible experience last winter driving semi truck down a 6% grade on highway 58 in Oregon and loss all brakes hitting emergency escape ramp. Took me about 6 months to get over the fear and nightmares to drive again in the mountains.
Chris its also terrifying to watch a trucker use the emergency escape ramp. I saw that once and the truck hit that ramp going so fast. The gravel flying everywhere and the dust cloud. Holy Moly!!!!! Something I will never forget
Yikes, that’s a hellish nightmare during the day. Can’t imagine how long before your heart rate returned to normal resting rate. Glad your emergency procedure was successful and man I hope the post-traumatic stress has resolved somewhat.
Hey Nikki and Jason. I can’t think of any other channel who can create such amazing content even when they are out of their normal environment. Excited to see your adventures until you are on your new boat and then of course super excited to see you continue on water. You guys are the best!
I agree! My channel is largely based on normal daily activities (in Mexico) and the Wynns are a HUGE inspiration for me. They keep it light, fun, informative and moving along. Great great skill
@13:20 I sound like a broken record ( i'm old I had records) but I'll say it again, you two are the right people in the right place at the right time. We are all happy you had enough battery left. 🐧🐧
Watched with my 7 and 10 year old daughters this week, we loved the penguins. As an RN, I really appreciate all mentions of the importance of mental health. We all have a brain, maybe it should just be simply called healthcare, same as any other part of the body. Safe travels, and thank you for your content that I look forward to each week.
Thank you so much, what a lovely vid! I’m glad you’re ‘keeping on keeping on, no matter what’ because that’s where we learn the most in our lives. I’m with you in my own experience of three years in what seemed like limbo at the time, but proved to be one of the most clarifying times of my life. Your special blessing is having one another with whom to share this waiting time. A trusted ‘friend’, a friend of the heart when you are surrounded by friends of the road. May you find that inner peace for which there is no substitute……🌦☔️🦉
I don't think you're geeking out because I love it too - those penguins! wow. I'm so glad you are sharing New Zealand with us because since I was young and saw pictures I always thought it was so beautiful there. I may never make it but love seeing it with you. I grew up in Dunedin FL and when you're googling if you don't put in "FL" you get some stuff from NZ and that's the only reason I knew there was a Dunedin there. Wow that steep road was something. Thanks guys.
Did you notice the Face on the Island Rock at 12:32? Fun, crazy show today and just what is needed to keep smiling. I wonder if they close that street in winter when ice forms? Have a Magical Day.
It's kind of a miracle y'all actually got to see them and then you shared it with all of us Nikki and Jason thank you so much for doing this thank you for taking us with you I don't think y'all realize it not having the catamaran right now is okay because you're just going to take everybody where you're going so don't sweat it you know we're here we're on for the ride I mean I'll be honest with you the street I geeked out on the street I thought that was cool and how crazy it was that they were building there but now I get it look at those Penguins they were amazing just amazing thank you for sharing this with us and God bless you all for taking us on your journey with you
Thanks for sharing Nikki. I've met you a few times and kinda thought I knew you but I did not know of your childhood. Not always easy to share stuff like that especially in social media. Glad you're with Jason. You 2 seem to know how to juggle things better than most. I too have struggled for 25 years with depression. Great little graphic you had in there and I can so relate. Cheers! Keep on keepin' on!
Hahaha, what a surprise to see my post from last week pop up as the first one on the screen when you're talking about how it feels to be in limbo, your life on hold waiting for something.. You lifted my spirits after a rather crappy Summer. Thanks!
Nikki - I totally get it, untethered is a perfect description for many of us. And give it another 20 years, your Mel Blanc impression may just become gravelly enough. Great penguin walk. Jason - yeah "the cold is worth it" - it's always worth it for that rare shot. And the lens is never quite long enough. In the old days, I found a 2x adapter lens totally worth it, coupled with a mono or tripod. Love you guys.
It's really cool to see your home country through the eyes of someone experiencing it for the first time. I've only just recently come across your channel and an loving catching up through your various adventures.
Nikki, you are the last person on earth that I would think needs a therapist. After the trauma that you went through as a youngster you really seem to have your act together . Only the best to you both !
We (traveling companion and I) are right leaning, conservative, unabashedly Christian viewers, and yet ... we love how well you have embraced a love of this beautiful world, and it’s people, wherever you find it/them. It’s an amazing creation, and we all need to learn how to enjoy it well!
YOU DID IT !!! You guys went to see the PENGUINS in the wild ....wondering if you saw my post on that when you asked for suggestions and if it lead you there. Same place I visited in 2001. So happy you got to have such a rare sighting. I was there during "Penguin High Season." Many Blessings to you both, Patti Bee, Madison, Wisconsin, USA
If you are interested: The big boulders are carbonate (limestone) concretions, they formed because of microorganisms in the muds after a little bit (metres) of burial. To be a bit more technical, the microorganisms sort of produced an environment where there was a lot more calcite ions in the water in the muds, allowing the calcite precipitation. These appear to be localised in specific areas- why they are so round, possibly due to there being a food source there (maybe- e.g. in the UK Jurassic muds sometimes you find concretions that formed around ammonites). Anyway, at some point pretty early on these things fractured internally (there’s lots of theories of how, from earthquakes to the breakdown of the slime excreted by the microorganisms being the cause) and bigger calcite crystals grew in the cracks, that yellow stuff. The ones you saw are awesome, it’s possibly the only place where you find mudstone hosted carbonate concretions that big (smaller ones are common elsewhere but way less impressive!). Loved your footage. Also the alien idea is awesome, I wonder what people thought of them before we could examine them with science.
Excellent explanation . They could have started with one little creature then over a long time grown into a ball of creatures which eventually solidified
@@paulpaxtop1580 it’s more like the environment around the patch of extra-microorganism filled mud was able to be cemented up because they changed the environment around them. Sometimes concretions are formed already at their final size, and sometimes they start small and more material grows outwards, similar to what you said!
I visited New Zealand and loved it. I ate in a library and had turkey and cranberry pizza (it was delicious) The couple left the town library intact for their restaurant- so cool. I am enjoying your journey.
Some Toobers can be off their boat for a bit and their content can drop/fade/become less interesting, but it looks like you guys will be able to hold your own. Stay adventuresome.
We were lucky enough to visit NZ, both islands in their summer so we didn't see any of the penguins but we did see the BIG BOULDERS & looked up Baldwin Street, then drove up it to look down from the top. Not as energetic as you two!! There are just so many fantastic sights to see. thanks for bringing back some wonderful memories.
Was able to visit the penguinos, lobo marino's and bagenas (penguins, sea lions and whales) in Punta Tombo, Argentina. Truly a memorable event, I can only imagine the thrills ya'll had there in New Zealand. Thanks for sharing with us Texans!
I have been "stowing away" on Curiosity with you two for almost as long as you have had the channel. But don't panic! I am invisible....I do not/will not get in your way. I am also riding along with you as you transition over to your new vessel, including the tours you are on. Loving EVERY second! You have a great vlog guys!
Incredible stuff that we all may not have seen if not for limbo? If this is the sort of limbo you can come up with we won't get impatient for boat build updates...for awhile. I have to presume there must be some disaster story's at the bottom of Baldwin street, even just a loose shopping cart would slice a parked car in half. I sure hope they're successful with their nesting because they're wonderful. This is the best video I have seen for a long time and I'm sending big hugs to both of you for making me so happy...more limbo please!
I love that you "blew 2 hours" on the world's steepest street. You made a memory and I love the way you guys play and just enjoy life! That is a true gift. Ok...the alien beach balls and those adorable penguins were pretty cool too! Have a great week! PS... NautiStyles referenced you guys on one of their episodes!
HOLY NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC please call Nikki, she really wants a job and has captured an extremely rare moment for us all with the mating pair of penguins! 🐧
Love the art store with the faces . Clearwater Florida here sending you both a smile in a half . I so look forward to Sunday mornings with my coffee before at church or anything it’s like so relaxing so I’m sending you a smile and a hug both of you. Make my Sundays and I’m looking forward to seeing more adventures!
This episode like all the episodes was exciting, informative and at times very funny. You are a great couple, and you bring much joy and happiness to all of us. Thank you for sharing your wild world with us. Stay groovy and stay safe.
When I was in Dunedin some 20 yrs ago, I was told that they used to hold a race down Baldwin St in wheely bins, but that the police had stopped it, for safety reasons. Hard to imagine racing down there with no brakes, but that's Kiwi's for you.
You guys are a blast to watch! It doesn't matter where you are or what you are doing we love spending time with you. You've sold us on going to New Zealand next year. Gotta see the rock balls and much, much more. God's blessings 2 U 2.
Wow! You guys even make walking up a street look adventurous! As "Mike B" stated, I, too, have been following your channel since before Curiosity, and I feel lucky to have found such a family. And you keep us interested; yes, interested to see what's next. And, "what's next" is always very good. Thank you.
If it was easy anyone would do it. The art is in the details and the art of story telling and finding that thread of curiosity wherever you are and making us curious along with you. I'd be curious to know how many people are out there like me who are on boats of any shape or size exploring the world around them because of your influence? How does Jason not know steampunk having been to Burning Man? As an MSW,CCM,LCSW bravo for today's sponsor and keeping yourself healthy mentally and physically!
I love following your story! Nikki, you are very eloquent in your storytelling. I have caught up with your Curiosity ventures in the past two months. It's more fun to watch your channel than other streaming services. I look forward to your limbo journey - remember, each step opens new worlds for growth!
I've been watching it since the RV days and by far one of my favorite channels. I look forward to your videos every week. I'd be a patron if I wasn't living off SSD. Your videos make my dreams so much more realistic. Thanks for that.
LOVe Akaroa and the trip south. My mom lived there from 25 years after visiting from Michigan. Enjoy the South Island... So much to see and do. best of luck with the new boat.
Thanks for including us in these great adventures!! After going to church and running a couple of errands, I love connecting with you 2 on Sundays!! If we’re camping and have no internet, then I have to wait a day or two, sadly!! Stay warm and safe and enjoy!!!! Saying a prayer for you to do that,
Love that you saw some Y E penguins. I spent hours watching them on a warm autumn afternoon, at Katiki Point, near Moeraki, coming ashore and greeting each other with human-like affection. I felt so privileged. As a North Islander I was also stunned by the wonderful beaches near Dunedin. Lucky to get good weather because summer can be as cold and windy as winter is here.
So cool you got to see our little hoiho. I've been in that exact spot twice at evening and haven't managed to spot them. Maybe it was that awesome penguin walk of Nikki's at 12:03 that gave you good juju.
We laughed so much! You guys are fun! We have been watching every week for 2 years ever since we found you! We are so Excited about you guys getting your dream boat 🎉👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 dreams do come true ✨

Steam is made with coal. Most power plants are coal steam plants.

Well said!
Thank you for saying it so well!
Beautifully said. ❤️

@4:22 That reminded me of the "Dude" and his daydreams in "The Big Lebowski"...

I agree. We have many large septarian concretions in South Dakota.
Oh so they're not lost, giant alien bowling balls?
oh wow, that's fascinating! My guess was that they were pyroclastic, but it would have had to have been a truly enormous event.
Thanks for the details about the Beach Balls. I've never seen, or heard anything about them before.
DUKE point Vancouver Island on the North side of the point
We sold our dream homesstead to move to NZ and covid hit so my husband and I where stuck in limbo till a 2 months ago. We took the opportunity to visit most of the states out of our jeep but finally have a home in the north Island. Watching you has been my inspiration and push so thank you.

Truth is important as is the transparency that we all go through fluctuation and change. I wish you guys the best!
OMG! I have been there 9 time’s to see the penguins and have only seen them once. What a rare and exceptional opportunity for you to see and photograph them. Thanks so much for sharing
Those penguins are so cool. Never heard of them before. Thanks for showing this to us.
While there were walking up the dune:
- 'this reminds me of the time we lived on the Baldwin Street'
- 'yeah, getting groceries was a bitch...'😂
You two are bar none the cutiest couple ever! Wishing you the best of best!
YELLOW-EYED PENGUINS - WOW!

Totally agree!
Thank you again for taking us on this extraordinary journey....your life. You two are truly special.
I think you'd like Colin a Kiwi guy, his channel is Parley revival
Penguins! And Nikki's penguin dance is spectacular!
Just WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Penguins WOW!!!!!!
It looks so cold and wonderful. I am so glad you decided to film more in New Zealand (I have never been even though I live in Australia).
Love the steep hill footage, that made me laugh. Great video all round. Hugs xx
Good to see you guys investing in your mental health. The world would be a better place if more did this.
I want just 1/2 your energy! 😂 May Jesus continue to bless you and your
Fantastic video.
Yikes!!!
I had to learn a super 10 speed semi going down a steep grade in Idaho....made it with plenty of swearing
Yikes, that’s a hellish nightmare during the day. Can’t imagine how long before your heart rate returned to normal resting rate. Glad your emergency procedure was successful and man I hope the post-traumatic stress has resolved somewhat.
Horrible experience Chris, but nothing like what you probably would have had if the engineer designing the highway omitted the escape ramp.
omgosh I been in limbo since beginning of covid. Luckily in mexico now trying to decide what next... totally get it.
there's a DUNEDIN here in Florida, too!
You two are adorbs. Just happy living life and sharing the journey. ABSOLUTELY here for it :D
😁
The penguins were incredible. It made my heart flutter...sooooo amazing!!! Thank you so very much for sharing✌️💜
💙💛💙
Adds New Zealand to my travel bucket list
It's kind of a miracle y'all actually got to see them and then you shared it with all of us Nikki and Jason thank you so much for doing this thank you for taking us with you I don't think y'all realize it not having the catamaran right now is okay because you're just going to take everybody where you're going so don't sweat it you know we're here we're on for the ride I mean I'll be honest with you the street I geeked out on the street I thought that was cool and how crazy it was that they were building there but now I get it look at those Penguins they were amazing just amazing thank you for sharing this with us and God bless you all for taking us on your journey with you
THE SONG CHOICE DURING THAT INCLINE PART IS FABULOUSL
Thanks for sharing Nikki. I've met you a few times and kinda thought I knew you but I did not know of your childhood. Not always easy to share stuff like that especially in social media. Glad you're with Jason. You 2 seem to know how to juggle things better than most. I too have struggled for 25 years with depression. Great little graphic you had in there and I can so relate.
Cheers! Keep on keepin' on!
You guys just make me smile and make my day....After all these years of watching, ya still got it...
Hahaha, what a surprise to see my post from last week pop up as the first one on the screen when you're talking about how it feels to be in limbo, your life on hold waiting for something.. You lifted my spirits after a rather crappy Summer. Thanks!
There’s only a small % of kiwis who have experienced something as special as seeing those two waddle on home! Such a treat!
Once you said only 200 hundred pairs left, I got chills. Stoked for you!
Australian East Coast weather this past 6 months hasn’t been much better. So great to see your smiling faces. Epic video of those two penguins. Bravo.
Sometimes life is easy, sometimes it is not…that’s when you just have to appreciate what you have and make the most of it with the one you love.
It's really cool to see your home country through the eyes of someone experiencing it for the first time. I've only just recently come across your channel and an loving catching up through your various adventures.
12:36 Nikki and Jason find Nikki and Jason penguins ♥️♥️🥰♥️♥️
Wynns - transition or not, that was a great vid. Keep it up.
That one visit must have made your whole time on the South Island worthwhile.
Thanks for making the most of your 'extra' time there - and sharing it with us. Super fun.
Hopefully this was a moderately coherent chunk of information to read 😄😄
We got a Dunedin here in Florida. Not steep at all here...lol!
You have a great vlog guys!
hahah love that. Also a stowaway!
My Sunday coffee with the Wynns never disappoints. Balls on the beach was cool....but the penguin shots were spectacular! Thanks!
Excellent video ! You are so lucky to have been able to see those penguins Thank you from Vancouver Canada 🇨🇦
Thanks so much for being open about looking after your mental health.
Same ! I’m directly across the state fr you, Melbourne… enjoying worldly travels thanks to these lovely folks, 🌴
you are so lucky to have seen them. normally you only see the bleu eyed pinguin.
This episode like all the episodes was exciting, informative and at times very funny. You are a great couple, and you bring much joy and happiness to all of us. Thank you for sharing your wild world with us. Stay groovy and stay safe.
Who needs a boat?! This was my favorite video of y’all’s in quite some time! You both look so happy and in your element. Thanks!
When I was in Dunedin some 20 yrs ago, I was told that they used to hold a race down Baldwin St in wheely bins, but that the police had stopped it, for safety reasons. Hard to imagine racing down there with no brakes, but that's Kiwi's for you.
True story.
You guys are a blast to watch! It doesn't matter where you are or what you are doing we love spending time with you. You've sold us on going to New Zealand next year. Gotta see the rock balls and much, much more. God's blessings 2 U 2.
Nikki and Jason, Great film making ! New Zealander's are the luckiest people on the planet to call this magical land home 🇳🇿
How fortunate you two could see and film the Hoiho penguin pair! What a rare treat, and thank you for sharing.
Wow, amazing travel video !
Now I wish to visit these places .. lol
Saying a prayer for you to do that,
What a treat to see you guys having so much fun and of course the penguins were amazing.
I live near Dunedin, Fl. That's so cool. I didn't know another Dunedin existed there. Dunedin in Florida is very Scottish
So is Dunedin in NZ - Southlanders even speak with a burr. A very Scots part of the country. 🙂
Another good word to describe this place is liminal space. There's lots of good articles on liminal space and how to move through this season.
You take us to so many places we have never seen. Thank you for that. I wish I had the energy that you both have. Alan
