- In this video I skull drag my old 12' jetboat out of the weeds and make a start on repairing it for the water by cleaning up the jet drive and rebuilding the steering rack.
Another awesome project :)
I was planning on starting this in November however I got a bit caught up in the Bitza build. So I just need to get it done before the end of the summer

Now this i will enjoy watching. Great stearing fabrication by the way. Grease nipples ( cable and stearing rack ) would not go astray. LOL
there was a small hole in the rear steering cable that is inside the transom (very corroded) that would make sense to be a grease nipple so I might add that in.
as for the rack this was just a dry fit to make sure it worked before I paint it and then load it up with grease but I think I'll add a grease nipple to the cover plate over the main sprocket so I can load it up there as well.

I wanted to make some disparaging remark about having so many unfinished projects but you know, glass houses and all.... 🤫
I was expecting a derogatory remark about me fitting the O ring retainer,
as for the unfinished glass house project (yes I have one of them also) well that is something that will remain unfinished for now but when I do get to it... well it's getting customized with a hot tub
@@juscozcustoms People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones, eg, I have just as many unfinished projects 🤣🤣🤣 Nice work on the steering rack, that came out really well!
