I hate these things in bicycle frame accessory mounts
they end up working loose a few years later, and just spin in place when you try to remove whatever you had bolted to them.
use brazed or welded threaded inserts instead
May i know how much the body length of rivnut gets reduced after riveting ?? because the body length mentioned by various supplier on catalog is the original one and not the final one after riveting process
Two things you need to know but is hard to find for your rivnuts,
1; thickness of material limits? Every rivnut is different.
2 compression of the rivnut? This will vary between rivnuts and the thickness of the material been nutted.
What happened to threads. They switched places in animation. Is that what is happening in real also ?
