This movie is so darn funny! Also an exceptional reminder for anyone who has forgotten or is too young to know that Christopher Walken is a really great actor. I grew up appreciating how funny he can be, (watch his many hosting performances on Saturday Night Live! The Continental is just the funniest recurring sketch!), but he can deliver the drama, make no mistake.
Seeing you both laugh and cry is so relatable. This is how I feel while I watch movies from this director. You will enjoy In Brugge, no doubt. Maybe even better. And yes, it has a similar tone.
Seven psychopaths is a movie I don’t get tired of watching I freaking love it. martin mcdonagh also made in Bruges and three billboards outside ending Missouri.
I truly think this guy is the best writer/director of our time. Coen brothers maybe excluded. There are some people that make movies that might not be your favorite of all time on a sunday, but while you're watching them they're the best thing you've ever seen. That's this guy every single time i watch or rewatch one of his movies. Nobody can make you laugh, cry and think about intense concepts all at the same time like he can.
The true story of the Monk burning himself alive in protest of South Vietnam's persecution of Buddhists was used as the cover of Rage Against The Machine's first album
This is one fine film. Great director, insanely good script, outrageous cast, all together in sync-and not just a little bit in the gutter…. It’s one of my favorite films of the past 20 years, but by far what I’m most taken by during this viewing is your spot-on reaction to it, nuanced and entertaining, and saturated in charm as you attempt to make sense of this dark and zany flick. I’m a first time visitor here, compelled to take a break from the movie to commend you for the best reaction video I’ve ever seen.
The master of the tragicomedy. Bring you to tears in one scene, then hits you immediately with his dark humour and you can't help but laugh straight away. In Bruges and The Banshees of Inesherin is a must!
Mac dun ah would be how the directors name is pronounced. Would love to see you react to in bruges which is my favourite of his. His brother John Michael has directed some movies worth a reaction, the Guard and Calvary .
"Mr. Brooks" (2007) Kevin Costner, William Hurt, Demi Moore, Marg Helgenberger, Danielle Panabaker "Boondock Saints" (1999) Willam Dafoe "Hell or High Water" (2016) "No Country For Old Men" (2007)
I think it's sorta funny how Hans says that Marty writes awful women who have nothing to say when the main character of his next film "Three Billboards"focuses on a female character with a lot to say. "In Bruges"was my first introduction to Mcdonagh. This movie is even better on a rewatch, as the scene with the hitmen, you can realize that Charlie tried to put a hit on Angie because Billy was sleeping with her. Myra talks about wondering what she and Hans did was right(which was them stalking the killer to the point of suicide.) "Paw! Paw! No paw! Thats okay too!" That dog is ridiculously cute. "It's part of your heritage! You're FUCKED!" "FUCK OFF Billy! Seriously FUCK OFF, I'm not in the fuckin' MOOODDD!" XD! "FUCK the cops. FUCK 'EM!" How hard he goes right away kills me, but it makes sense on a rewatch. "If you were saying you were going to eat my heart off a tray and shit on it?" "Uhhh...no. No. I wouldn't do that."(Raises eyebrow). XD! Lmao, how offended Billy is at the "no shootouts"ending, XD! "NO SHOOTOUTS!Ahhh...ahhhh!" "No?" "NNOOOO!!" Billy's ending is hilarious. The line that broke my mom was "You can't kill the animals in the movie, just the women!" That was a line added in because the audiences didn't like the original ending(where Bonnie was killed in the crossfire). "It's got layers." "Layers. Like a pie? Like a cake?" "Its got...its got MANY layers..." XD! "Billy, you KILL WOMEN!" "I killed A woman..." LOL! "Thats just FUCKING GREAT! DO YOU KNOW WHAT THAT IS?" "Yeah." "YOU KNOW WHAT THAT IS?!" "Great." "THATS JUST FUCCCKKKIINNNN' GREEEEAAATTT!" Lol, Christopher Walken makes this movie for me. If you like the Coen Brothers and Michael Stuhlbarg(one of the two assassins who the Jack of Diamonds shoots in the beginning), DEFINITELY watch "A Serious Man", as it doesn't get nearly enough attention on RUclips reactions.
I adore this film, so I'm thrilled that you reacted to it and enjoyed it. Tom Waits tickles me in anything I see him in. The rest of the cast killed it, and I'll never get tired of the story of the monk.
This was magnificent. I've been meaning to see this for over a decade lol. If you haven't already seen them, if recommend: 1. Lucky Number Slevin w/ Josh Hartnett and Bruce Willis 2. The Hateful Eight w/Samuel L. Jackson and Kurt Russell 3. Knives Out w/ Daniel Craig and Ana De Armas All three are suspense and mystery very similar to this. Great Reaction. Take Care ...
Of all the amazing films he's in and wonderful performances this may be my favourite Christopher Walken performance. Absolutely watch In Bruges, you'll love it. I also recommend Banshees of Inshirin, by the same director. It's quite different than his other films but has the same wonderful script and performances of all.his films. It's another rough one emotionally though!
Am Irish, can confirm Mac/Muc Dun ah. Irish was not originally written in this alphabet plus an English got at it in translation so, despite having V and W sounds, we have no V and W now. Depending on circumstance, V is bh or dh or bhdh (No, not making that up) and W is usually, though not always, bhf and gh in the middle of a word or name is usually silent or just the h is sounded. Watch The Guard it is by his brother and very funny with lots of Irish people in it. Also I Went Down and Grabbers, an Irish version of Tremors.
This movie makes me laugh so much, you made me laugh extra! Definitely check out In Bruges if you haven't!! And also Sam Rockwell is something else in this film. My husband met him on a movie set when he was like 11. To this day I'm still jealous he got to hang with him all day, but he said he was such a cool, nice guy.
I used to do a great Christopher Walken impression for an Asian. Amazingly, there is an entire RUclips video of Asians doing Christopher Walken impressions though I'm not in it.
I knew as soon as I seen you were doing this you'd like it, Sam Rockwell is always good so have you seen Mr Right yet? It's him as an assassin and Anna Kendrick so what's not to love? Definitely watch In Brugge, and after that Banshees Of Inisherin
Nice reaction. For me Myra and Maggie are always the same girl. Which would make it so much deeper. Not sure if that is true tho or if it is just my fantasie.
I really think you will enjoy In Bruges. Its great
Second this. In Bruges is one of the best dark comedies I've ever seen.
+1 on In Bruges.

And ‘The Guard’
Absolutely agree! 100% must watch!
I loved Christopher Walken in this one. I use the "no, I don't want to" all the time.
Too bad!
The graveyard scene is an all-timer. It's got layers... like a cake.

its a massively underrated movie. and also IMHO Walkens best performance. here is a sense of vulnerability that he often doesnt get to show.
For films that are in a Similar Vein
I would recommend “True Romance”
Great Film and has a Stacked Cast.
Seeing you both laugh and cry is so relatable. This is how I feel while I watch movies from this director. You will enjoy In Brugge, no doubt. Maybe even better. And yes, it has a similar tone.
Your sense of humor is just as delectable as your beauty.
25:52 in case yall were looking for it.
In Bruges is an AMAZING movie.

In Bruges is a great movie!!! Dark, dark comedy.
This is my all time favorite movie with Christopher Walkin. His character was so well designed and thought out.
In Bruges for sure! I also recommend Brick and Brothers Bloom
Great Movie, Great Cast , Great Performances By Everyone In This Movie, Great Reaction Emily
The best thing about this movie is that it's so relatable.
The Viet Nam storyline had me intrigued right down to my non-Chinese ears, but Christopher Walken's line deliveries had me in stitches.
The master of the tragicomedy. Bring you to tears in one scene, then hits you immediately with his dark humour and you can't help but laugh straight away. In Bruges and The Banshees of Inesherin is a must!
In Bruges is very similar in tone to this. You should also check out The Guard with Brendan Gleeson. Not by the same guy but it has a similar vibe.
I love Sam Rockwell so much.
"Paw.....Paw......no paw, that's okay too" 😂 that always gets me
Oh In Bruges is like seeing the story side of 3 of these psychopaths. Such a good film

The Banshees of Inisherin is Martin Mc Donagh's best film in my opinion. I pronounce his second name as Mc-dun-ah.
I adore Waits. McDonagh is very very good, highly recommend Banshee of Inshisherin as well.
Ooh! I forgot about 3 Billboards. That was a great one, too!
Sam Rockwell and Christopher Walken are comedy magic.
I watched the hell out of this movie 10 yrs ago. I think I'll watch it again.
A good film made great by...
Tom Waits.
(Small change got rained on by his own 38). 😊
I think you guys should try out the Movies like 3 Idiot's, Bahubali and KGF 👈
1:29 I'm not sure any actor in America today can deliver stone-faced sarcasm quite like Michael Stuhlbarg can 😂😂😂
Love this movie , for most of my life no one ever saw it besides me.
Really glad you have now , maybe this will spur other channels to watch it.
I saw this movie just based on the cast. Love it.
This was magnificent.
I've been meaning to see this for over a decade lol.

Great Reaction.

The Guard has a somewhat similar feel to In Bruges and this movie.
one of my fav movies .
😮After seeing how much you liked this, I have to recommend you watch In Bruges!! YOU WILL LOVE IT!! It also stars Colin Farrell.
Of all the amazing films he's in and wonderful performances this may be my favourite Christopher Walken performance.

Putting in my request for a reaction video for “Juice” starring Omar Epps. Tupac is in a supporting role and is absolutely terrifying!
Natural Born Killers ...starring Woody Haralson
I used to do a great Christopher Walken impression for an Asian. Amazingly, there is an entire RUclips video of Asians doing Christopher Walken impressions though I'm not in it.
"Peace is for queers and now you're gonna die" - Woody Harrelson.
Couldn't hit this fast enough. Love this movie.

In Bruges is more subdued but same vibe. It's very good and, if you liked this, there's no reason not to watch it.
Love this movie
You might want to check out Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood if you haven't already
We actually saw it in theaters, thoroughly enjoyed it!!
You can check other movies from the same director. Great reaction.
Great film.
Killer cast.
Such an under appreciated movie
"...but I have a gun"
Never seen this either.
Have you seen Joe Dirt?
Nice reaction.
For me Myra and Maggie are always the same girl. Which would make it so much deeper. Not sure if that is true tho or if it is just my fantasie.
such a good movie
What's the opposite of Christopher Walken?
Christopher Reeves
Don't put it on a poll just watch it!!!! It's the best of the 3 imo.
