Venom Walla If the resolution is below 1080p, it should be dynamic (from 900-1080p) and the game should be 60 fps. If the game is 30 fps, it should maintain that target, provide a good motion blur and be a locked 1080p on the OG ps4. It's 2013 hardware but it's nearly as powerful as the GTX 760.
Alex I not really. There was a survey on steam with majority having an actual quad core or an i3 atleast with 8 GB ram and GPU performance little worse than 750 ti.
ps4 is close to either an underclocked 760 or a massively overclocked 750 ti. I know games are optimised specifically for consoles but still judging by the games nowadays we can easily say ps4 is more powerful that 750 ti. It may be less powerful than 760 but not alot.
I'm actually totally fine with the performance on the standard PS4. Near 60fps, with it regularly hitting that target at 1080p is a pretty good showing.
My fairly modest PC setup is running this at 1080 60fps locked with max settings. i5-6600 GTX 1050 Ti 12gb RAM Very pleased with the performance so far!
Zahin Tan Don't worry, its barely related.. I liked the original game very much.. Very cute characters and awesome story with great game play.. So can't wait to play this sequel...
How are you finding it? About 10 hours in myself, I cant pretend it holds a candle to the first one, still a good game but I cant help but feel let down by it.
ldjg2002 I have ordered from Amazon.. It's expected to arrive by Friday.. Then only I can tell if it matches up to 1st game or not.. But maybe you expected too much from the game because 1st part was awesome.. Happens when we have too much expectations.. Play the full game though, you will like it.. Happy playing..
Would have really been nice to see a frame rate graph for PC, as well as what settings affect performance. Nobody has gone into a full PC analysis yet of this game, was hoping you guys woild scrarch that itch. Maybe make a PC performance piece? 😁
hey all, have you guys seen the videos out there, where people mod their brand new PS4 PRO's by wiring the fan to full power all the time and improving the cooling with better thermal compound and pads. Do you think that would help with the PRO's occasional hiccup at 4k and is the PRO thermal throttling at these resolutions? Would make a good video i think, comparing one of these modded PRO's, to a stock PS4 Pro...... What do you guys think?
Adam Mann Why is that needed? My pro doesn't seem to have any cooling issues. These consoles don't thermal throttle. They drop frames due to cpu, gpu or bandwidth issues.
I practically always feel on these split screen comparisons, there is a sense of ‘the emperor’s new clothes’ when there is barely any difference between the so called superior PC and a mid gen console... So I entertain myself by watching in 3D. I wear glasses, correcting a turn in one eye. Relaxing it, causes double vision, then draw back for overlapping until I see four split screens as three. Concentrating on the ‘middle’ one in 3D. This for me, is best reason to watch these DF comparisons vids!
I saw a RU (I think) site showing a Vega 64 performing on par with a 1080ti. Is that true? I Have a Vega 64 and a 4k monitor, but have to unlock the framerate to play at/around/above 60fps. If I set a max framerate to 60, it'll revert to 30fps locked... I'm guessing because of dips and stutters that aren't registering in the normal Steam overlay. When I heard in this video that a 1080ti was being taxed for 4K, I assumed I'd encountered a bug with my own results, but when I looked up Vega 64 performance, I found that site saying it was competing with the Ti, but I'm not familiar with the site so I remain skeptical.
When I grew up I remember being completely stunned at how amazing Dragon's Lair looked, I thought wow, a video game that looks just like a cartoon! That was 1984, but here we are only 34 years later and now we really do have video games that look just like a cartoon, except for they're a video game and not just an interactive laser disc.
Your statement is oddly backwards, because Dragon's Lair didn't look like a cartoon, it _was_ a cartoon. It was created by Don Bluth who made many animated films around the same time such as The Land before Time, The Secret of NIMH, etc.
Best part about some PS4 exclusives that are also on PC is that they don't require windows 10, unlike Microsoft does for Xbox One exclusives. I hate dirty cheap tactics that force that shitty scamming trojan infested OS to the consumer.
Thanks, you guys confirmed what I was thinking to begin with. I'm playing on PC and honestly, it looks exactly the same between Standard and High graphical presets. My pc is a bit outdated, currently using an i7 3770k @4.3ghz alongside an overclocked gtx970 and 16gb of ddr3 1600 ram, with this rig I am able to get a gorgeous view playing in standard settings using smaa instead of taa @1440p with a perfect 60fps, the lowest dips I've had are to 58fps and that's only in the overworld when it transitions into a fight screen. Anyone that can't handle what I'm playing at, the best option for a lower level pc is High settings smaa t2x at 1080p, you will get a guaranteed 60fps as long as you are not playing on a potato.
DooM has a "4K" patch on PS4 Pro. Please do some pixel peeping to see if it is anywhere close to 2160p. (My guess is a dynamic scale between 1440p - 1620p; maybe 1800p staring at walls)
Nick, yeah you're probably right about the AA. I think the base game already uses Id's custom AA solution like in the PC release. Some crazy acronym like "TSSAA x8," if I remember correctly; "Temporal Super Sampled Anti Aliasing?"
When comparing PC 4K to console you really should try to match the settings. Have some super taxing AA/shadow quality/AO setting on that tanks the frame-rate makes an unfair comparison. (Or maybe you guys just do it on purpose, gotta pander to the console crowd and all that...)
I think your argument only holds true for people that only care about what FPS is being reported, perhaps because they don't understand the additional differences. Since this is a graphics comparison, it makes sense that they'd want to show the little bit extra that can be achieved on PC compared to consoles. Since this is DF, I imagine we'll see a PC port and hardware analysis video soon.
I just upgraded my PC, but I went for the Pro version because it got the Day-1 version for around $45. Luckily, both versions are apparently great. It certainly looks beautiful on my OLED with 1800p, HDR, and the superb artistry. I haven't enjoyed this type of game this much for a long time, too. It reminds me a bit of my experience with Dragon Quest VIII a few years back when everything I saw made me smile.
AKSBSU If you haven't played persona 5, it's a fantastic jrpg. Only thing that sucks is that it runs at 30 fps even though it's on the ps3. Still a great game and a great looking game thanks to the art style though. Anyway I just hope more ps4 games run at 60fps in the future.
I have P5. I keep hoping they'd do some sort of upgrade for the Pro (not expecting the game the rebuilt obviously; I'd just like a better frame rate or minor res boost), but it looks like they have no intention to do anything with it.
Hmm, I was more curious about draw distance and detail distance and such, but maybe it doesn't actually matter for this game anymore than it did for DQ XI.
Currently playing this game on PS4 Pro, 4K HDR screen, loving it so far. I haven't tried to play in SD resolution, I will try to see if the improved frame rate stability is nicer to me over resolution. One thing I didn't like at first was the way the camera was "locked". I thought Oh no, this is another Shadow of The Colossus feature... but no. Thankfully, you can change this in the options of Ni No Kuni 2, making the camara completely free to control. Unlike SotC remake... if only they had included this feature in SotC remake..
keurde coyote What is there to review? I'm confused. Do you not understand how supersampling works? Games detect your 1080p tv as a 4k tv, so they output their 4k resolution, which means the performance is identical to them playing on a 4k tv...
I want to know what kind of improvement does this mode brings to games that didn't get ps4pro support/enhancements like say bloodborne, arkham knight,Hawken... Etc
why does it take so much to get 4k/60 out of this? games with this kind of graphics style usually aren't demanding looks like a cool game and all but i didn't play the last one so i probably won't have any idea what's going on
I was honestly expecting a 60fps cap and bugging out with V-sync disabled, so pleasantly surprised. Runs excellently on my PC. Just wondering why they're recommending high core/thread count CPU's when it really only utilizes one thread heavily.
Mikko Levänen confounding variables mate. Could be RAM, or any other part of your system versus DF's. Yeah, silly to say a 1600 is a bottleneck at 4k lol. Fanboys are cute lol
Level-5 seems to have pulled out the stops (and succeeded) with their first PC release, fingers crossed for more or ports of other games. While I will pick it up on PC just to support good devs, I do like that they gave PS4-Pro users the option to opt for a rock steady 60.
I actually picked this up earlier than I normally would have just to boost their launch numbers on PC... which may not have been all that necessary, since Bandai Namco seems to be in full (simultaneous) support of PC these days.
If we're talking about sketchy as a "low effort" port, due to little to no quality settings, then yeah, I guess that's a recurring thing... but I'm in the camp of "if it runs well (and hopefully supports high resolutions), I'm fine with it", particularly when it comes to art styles like NNK, since there's not a lot that can be added, IMO.
The Truth Hurts every game benefits from HDR lol. I actually thought HDR was a gimmick until I just recently bought an LG OLED and now I’m full on board with HDR. It’s incredible and makes a very real difference
Constantly 50-60fps at 3200x1800p, with the average leaning towards 57-60, and no frame pacing/stutter or screen tear, with equivalent highest PC texture settings? That's a pretty damn good showing.
At first I was disappointed this game was a PS4 exclusive since I have an Xbox One X. I have the first game on my PS3. Fortunately that changed after I picked this game up from Humble Bundle for 50% off and it runs great with high settings and 60 FPS on my SFF living room PC with 8 GB RAM and a GT 1030. This game is incredibly optimized under the hood and a thing of beauty to see, play and hear. Quality through and through. Highly recommend!
This games's optimization is really weird when it comes to resolution, now I'm running the game on a GTX 1060 at 4K with standard settings but my anti-aliasing is off and motion blur is off yes it's running perfectly 60fps however what's weird about it is that I try to scale it down to 1440p and I get major slowdowns can someone explain that to me?
I know this just covers the opening hours of the game. But actually the next section, moments after what you showed, drops the frames more than normal on the 4k mode on PS4 Pro. Especially in the next city. It feels very jittery. Hopefully they patch it. Combat frames seem the same though. So that's all that really matters. Unless you're sensitive to frame drops.
Running on PC 1440p with max settings at 120 fps. Using 1080ti I can tell the difference from running it on my PS4 Pro but with the 120fps there will be a difference anyways.
I've been playing on a PS4 Pro in 4K mode while my brother has been playing on a standard PS4, but with a HDR TV. Personally, because of the style of the game it benefits far more visually from HDR than it does in the 4K mode. I would imagine anyone playing in 4K AND having HDR would be getting the ultimate experience. Until HDR becomes more widely available on PC, of course.
I didn't like it at 4k on ps4pro due to these frame rate drops which were drastic specially in goldpaw and open world segments. Changed it to standard mode and now the gameplay is as fluid as it gets and it's much more enjoyable.
"FighterZ dropped the frame rate" I think you misunderstand how Arc does that effect. The animations are rendered at lower frames- NOTHING else. Game logic, hitboxes etc are full speed. This game could've used that effect. Didn't Ni No Kuni 1 do it?
Nice PC still getting Games. Whether its Dragonball FighterZ, Sea of Thieves, Ni No Kuni 2, or Far Cry 5 if you stick to One console you're missing out. Gaming is looking just as good as Last year around this time.
*You as a RUclips Creator should contact Utube immediately.* As of 48hrs ago viewers are no longer able to scroll Subscriptions. But I know I can't be the only one with this problem.
The visuals in the Cloud Canyon area do take a hit, but it's because there are no loading screens in that whole area. So it dumped all of it at the player in real time!
Currently the game came out on Nintendo Switch and I'm a big fan of hand-held mode The game looks so beautiful but on overworld the game runs about 20 or 25 FPS, It's had been difficult and seems so weird, I hope a new patch of performance but we're on begins of 2023 and I won't think that thing happens:( Maybe there are new updates but I've the 1.10 Greetings from guatemala and your video was very helpfully
Please, could you add a benchmark for the 1060 or the most used GPU in steam at the moment in this kind of videos? That way the average PC player can benefit from it too.
guimblon Sorry mate, it's rare for DF to cover base consoles let alone average PC setups. I have a 1060 6GB, and I'd imagine it can handle this at 1080p.
The Truth Hurts , same with me! 😊 I was always curious to play it, looks great and extremely funny, but never wanted to buy it instead of other games. ... And Mad Max, OMG. Great, great game from what i've read and saw, very underated.
First of all I suggest not using the built in framelock because with a 1080ti I got framedrops all the time. Unlock the framerate and use V-Sync or a framelock with something like nv inspector. Also on PC there are a lot of people that get framedrops for no reason. If you open the taskmanager and go to details you can give the game a higher than normal priority which will get rid of the framedrops.
Finally devs see 1080p 60fps as the goal
That's always the goal, it's just hard when players demand better visuals and the devs are stuck working with hardware from 2013.
Yellow Flash well the GPU of the ps4 is actually closer to a 750 ti or gtx 660
760 is a bit more powerful I think
ps4 is close to either an underclocked 760 or a massively overclocked 750 ti. I know games are optimised specifically for consoles but still judging by the games nowadays we can easily say ps4 is more powerful that 750 ti. It may be less powerful than 760 but not alot.
Love the game it’s so charming and colorful and on the shorter side instead of 80+ hrs of grinding
So, approximately how many hours does it take to finish it? Something like Chrono Trigger's or Paper Mario's length would be great.
SP from what I heard main game is 40-50hrs
Ok. I can live with that. I'm currently going through the 2nd South Park game. Once I'm done with that, I'll look into this one. Thanks, Mone.
That's good! I am thinking about getting it even more... ^^
Quality over mediocre story, voice acting, game play mechanics and "grinding"
I'm actually totally fine with the performance on the standard PS4. Near 60fps, with it regularly hitting that target at 1080p is a pretty good showing.
Ozziw162 Well the vast majority of people have a base PS4, so surely the performance of that version is the most important!
I just love this kind of Videos. Thank you very much for doing them DigitalFoundry!
wow, 1800p at 60fps. not bad at all.
Better than Sea of Poop lol
ResistanceForever agreed.
50 to 60 fps
For a cartoon styled game it wouldn't have been hard to achieve.
Agreed. Wayyy better than sea of shit
My fairly modest PC setup is running this at 1080 60fps locked with max settings.
i5-6600
GTX 1050 Ti
12gb RAM
Very pleased with the performance so far!
upgrade your gpu
Does me fine thanks
Same here. i5 4460, GTX 770, 16GB still 1080/60. What a beautifully optimized game.
That is a crazy suggestion right now.
1050ti is still a very decent budget gpu :)
I've been eagerly awaiting this analysis video. Thanks for the research and presentation!
I'm loving the game so far and it is pretty well optimized for PC. Please guys support Level-5, they did an amazing job!
This sequel was very eagerly awaited by people like me who liked 1st game..
never played the first, do I need to play it first or it's barely related?
Zahin Tan Don't worry, its barely related.. I liked the original game very much.. Very cute characters and awesome story with great game play.. So can't wait to play this sequel...
cool, I'll be sure to try it when it goes on sale or something...
This game is a sight to behold and has a beautiful soundtrack, also the story is as charming as it gets,,,,10/10.
Oh wow, I didn't expect the cell shading to look flatter on pc. On ps4 rounded edges still have a slightly more 3d look.
This game is the best JRP-EG I've played in a long, long time. The visuals are only the icing on the cake!
Would have really been nice to see a frame rate graph for PC, as well as what settings affect performance. Nobody has gone into a full PC analysis yet of this game, was hoping you guys woild scrarch that itch. Maybe make a PC performance piece? 😁
Thanks for this comparison. I'm pleased with the results of the PS4 Pro support that LEVEL 5 has achieved. 1800p and 60 FPS is great.

What do you guys think?
Adam Mann Why is that needed? My pro doesn't seem to have any cooling issues.
These consoles don't thermal throttle. They drop frames due to cpu, gpu or bandwidth issues.
boost mode on or off? super-sampling on or off ? the pro has options outside of game that effect it as well.
Nothing about HDR? i wanted to hear what you guys think about it , since to me it doesn't look right for some reason .
Would appreciate if you guys could show PC at 1080p as well. 4K *is* nice. But 80-90% of us run with a 1080p monitor.
I practically always feel on these split screen comparisons, there is a sense of ‘the emperor’s new clothes’ when there is barely any difference between the so called superior PC and a mid gen console... So I entertain myself by watching in 3D.

The 4K mode seems to be locked at 60 FPS on PS5
Thats awesome! I want to get the game as it's on sale 😊
Good to know!
Has anyone anyone else taken issue with the lilliputian text size?
This game is beautiful on all platforms
even Switch? :P
Does it have DualShock 4 icons on PC? Or actual DualShock 4 support on PC?
The game looks beautiful and love the artstyle
Going to buy it thanks Digital Foundry !!
Does it do SuperSampling??? I preper to keep the toogle off and only turn it on for specific games due to posible framerate drops.
Been playing it on Pro in 4K mode with HDR. It looks beautiful and runs great.

TheMusic4Soul now I want the first game on steam
Who Dat Ninja if the second sells enough the first game might get ported. Also we get the new dragon quest

How about running 4K settings on a 1080 screen on the PS4 Pro in “boost mode”?
Adam Williams Boost mode is only for games that don't have a pro patch. Would do nothing here, as it's always in "boost".
Looks like he missed analyzing the skirmish battles. I'd love to see how PS4 holds up to those.
How does the game runs on pc if your lower the setting to console level ? They need to make more tests
I'm surprised it was only dropping to 50fps while traversing the overworld. Anecdotally it felt like a significant framerate drop.
Please digital foundry make a review of the Super sampling mode for ps4pro introduced with 5.50 update
keurde coyote They did said it's great.
david Maloney in what video !?
keurde coyote What is there to review? I'm confused. Do you not understand how supersampling works? Games detect your 1080p tv as a 4k tv, so they output their 4k resolution, which means the performance is identical to them playing on a 4k tv...

keurde coyote Yeah, you're definitely confused. If a game is NOT ps4 pro enabled, then it's NOT going above 1080p and NOT supersampling.
why does it take so much to get 4k/60 out of this? games with this kind of graphics style usually aren't demanding

That's weird. Im running ryzen5 1600 @3,9ghz with 1080ti and have had no trouble keeping 4k high/60fps
Mikko Levänen ohh boy a ryzen 5 1600 with a 1080ti, do you even bottleneck bro😂😂😂
Mikko Levänen I have a Vega 64 and a Ryzen 1700x clocked at 3.6 GHz and I was able to keep this game at LOCKED 4K 60fps
Mustafa Dudhwala why would it bottleneck. It's a wierd combo, but definitely no bottleneck there
Do you even PC bro? 1600 is there with i7 6800k with performance and i´m going for 4k/60fps so why would I need more perf from Cpu?
Mikko Levänen confounding variables mate. Could be RAM, or any other part of your system versus DF's.
Yeah, silly to say a 1600 is a bottleneck at 4k lol. Fanboys are cute lol
is the draw distance improved on PC? probably not, since it is engine related...

No mention of HDR that feature is way underrated 😒
Jose Sediles this game is so bright and beautiful is doesn't need HDR.
I'm playing it with HDR, and it definitely looks superior than with SDR.
Jose Sediles playing here on pc with a 55inch 4k oled HDR the HDR is nice makes it more vibrant.
The Truth Hurts the game does support HDR, weird they didn’t mention anything
The Truth Hurts every game benefits from HDR lol. I actually thought HDR was a gimmick until I just recently bought an LG OLED and now I’m full on board with HDR. It’s incredible and makes a very real difference
My rig with a GTX 1070 runs 4k60 with TAA which - imho - is the best looking AA option for this cell shaded graphic style anyway
As for mine PC version I got option to have 60fps / Unlimited. And for info, Ultra Wide Resolution supports with proper UI scaling too.
How can people possibly dislike DF videos????
Constantly 50-60fps at 3200x1800p, with the average leaning towards 57-60, and no frame pacing/stutter or screen tear, with equivalent highest PC texture settings? That's a pretty damn good showing.
What's wonderful is the fact this game has stuff in common with Metal Wolf Chaos
Still waiting for that performance mode on Witcher 3 for PS4 Pro. Come on CDPR, dont forget about it!
Osvaldo Castanon And the inventory bug fix. I've been waiting since December. 😢
On PS4 Pro at 4K I get a lot of shuddering while running. I have to play at standard def to get stable frame rates.
I also experienced minor drops in combat at 3840x2160 on PC with a GTX 1080 Ti, but I dropped to 3325x1871 and it's buttery smooth.
It’s so weird that level 5 put sd instead of hd for the PS4 pro
I don t think later in the game is the frame rate stable on the ps4 pro. Later are more than 12 enemies in one combat and much more spells.
just wish the original was on pc or atleast ps4
RPCS3 is your best bet atm, need to wait at least a year maybe before its good to play from beginning to end but yh.
daAmazin FatB0y yeah ive tried it and its not the best but ill try it again. at this point im just gonna play it on ps3
Kamikazi Lucas PS Now!
ps3 emulator is working this game will be playable on 4k with it if you have right hardware
Kamikazi Lucas lets hope they release a remastered version for ps4 and pc🧐 maybe next year
This games's optimization is really weird when it comes to resolution, now I'm running the game on a GTX 1060 at 4K with standard settings but my anti-aliasing is off and motion blur is off yes it's running perfectly 60fps however what's weird about it is that I try to scale it down to 1440p and I get major slowdowns can someone explain that to me?
Oh and ryzen 5 1600 if anyone is curious
So ps4 pro gets stable 60 fps the whole time on 1080p?
Ps4 = White blur.
Ps4 Pro = Less White blur.
PC = No White blur + More Details in every way possible.
Awesome awesome awesome so much looking forward to it!!
I own a switch did own a Xbox one but I sold it now. I want to buy a ps4 for this game and God of war.
Jeeses99 thanks! And I definitely will I'm just busy playing bayonetta 2 botw xenoblade chronicles 2 and stardew valley switch:D
Why're you Blue and not Azure?
I know this just covers the opening hours of the game. But actually the next section, moments after what you showed, drops the frames more than normal on the 4k mode on PS4 Pro. Especially in the next city. It feels very jittery. Hopefully they patch it. Combat frames seem the same though. So that's all that really matters. Unless you're sensitive to frame drops.
damn good analysis chap
The game will age well because of its art style
Played today on my PS4 Pro.
The anti-aliasing is very poor except for the cutscenes, the characters' borders are jaggy as hell!
I like how they put extra effort to animate the character walking downstair
Absolutely adoring this game so far
Life and Time Podcast PS4 is enough. Maybe a Switch. There’s nothing worth it on XBox sadly
Sea of thieves is crap....and all the other games you listed are on ps4. That was a horrible analogy lol.
Only truly woke grown-ups consistently show up to tech analysis videos to whine about console exclusives
Bobert Daniels Anyone who says woke in that fashion should be shot.
That's not how you use the word WOKE
Not heard of the game before but it looks like my kind of game, will have to check it out some more.
why p5 is 30fps atlus?
Guys the game is £6.71 in UK PS store now. A bargain. Get it asap before the offer runs out on early January. (27/12/2020)
I don't think they even mentioned how the game has uncapped FPS on PC, so In theory you could play it at 4K at 144fps
*You as a RUclips Creator should contact Utube immediately.*
As of 48hrs ago viewers are no longer able to scroll Subscriptions. Even if you expand it you are not able to see all the new content provided because we cannot access your RUclips User name. I will do what I can to get your vid feeds. But it's getting hard to get to your channel.
Thank you for all you do Digital Foundry. Keep up the good work. I hope this gets resolved real soon. But I know I can't be the only one with this problem.
The visuals in the Cloud Canyon area do take a hit, but it's because there are no loading screens in that whole area. So it dumped all of it at the player in real time!
Currently the game came out on Nintendo Switch and I'm a big fan of hand-held mode
The game looks so beautiful but on overworld the game runs about 20 or 25 FPS, It's had been difficult and seems so weird, I hope a new patch of performance but we're on begins of 2023 and I won't think that thing happens:(
Maybe there are new updates but I've the 1.10
Greetings from guatemala and your video was very helpfully
Please, could you add a benchmark for the 1060 or the most used GPU in steam at the moment in this kind of videos?
That way the average PC player can benefit from it too.
guimblon Sorry mate, it's rare for DF to cover base consoles let alone average PC setups.
I have a 1060 6GB, and I'd imagine it can handle this at 1080p.
Just to inform my PS4 mates here:
*April PS Plus Offers:* Mad Max and TrackMania Turbo 😊
Peter Chaves nice!...I've always wanted to play track mania
The Truth Hurts , same with me! 😊 I was always curious to play it, looks great and extremely funny, but never wanted to buy it instead of other games.
... And Mad Max, OMG. Great, great game from what i've read and saw, very underated.
- - , no problem! It's all over the web now 😊 Another great month to every PS4 owners
Peter Chaves You mean games the Xbox user had got a few months ago meanwhile there getting assassin Creed syndicate and Dead Space 2
beast ICY , i just don't follow Xbox monthly offers actually, only PS Plus, so i didn't know what you said 😓
Where's the XBOX ONE X graphics comparison? I've been told XONEX has got very dark shadows.
why would they call 1080p mode "SD"? SD is 480p.
lostn65 Standard Definition refers to 1080p as being the standard that most people play at on game consoles and pcs.
nice timing for outro
this and dragon quest announced for September with voice overs, love u PlayStation! (and pc)
How did i missed this title. I get it on pc for full 4k experience but it looks also great in pro. But first gonna play part one of it.
Someone came down with a cold.
Im playing on ps4 pro and aliasing bothers me. I am deceived on that point
I'm currently running this game at 1080p 144+ fps with Max settings with what I believe to be an enthusiast PC.
i7-6700k
GTX 1080ti
32 GB Ram
First of all I suggest not using the built in framelock because with a 1080ti I got framedrops all the time. Unlock the framerate and use V-Sync or a framelock with something like nv inspector. Also on PC there are a lot of people that get framedrops for no reason. If you open the taskmanager and go to details you can give the game a higher than normal priority which will get rid of the framedrops.
A retro series where they look at only last gen games would be interesting.
I wish this game was harder... I just like having difficulty in my games. And so far it’s no where to be found.
1080p is Standard Definition now?
Morgan Whaley It's the "standard" for most gamers, console and pc. A small percentage play at 1440p and above.
w8ing for this
