I do really hope we get new player models and especially animations soon... The current ones are the same ones since launch I believe, and have always been so low quality. Sounds like the team has expanded over the last little while, so hopefully some of these things (maps, sound design, player models, animations) etc. can start arriving to the game at a faster pace.

I did a deep dive into Point Hope today, checking for secrets / easter eggs (besides the main one that everyone knows now). One thing that stood out to me is the sheer number of objects that can be picked up. After going through floor by floor, I found: - 485 total objects that can be picked up / thrown, - a bug, the soap in the first floor bathroom sink could only be picked up after turning the sink on, - working window shutters in the kitchen that can close off the windows, - on the 3rd floor, two bottles have labels that reference in game ghosts. One is "Demon whiskey", and the other is "6 finger whiskey" with a 6 fingered hand print on the label (obake reference) - on the 5th floor in the master bedroom, there is a pamphlet to Maple Lodge campsite - sadly, none of the gas tanks can be lit with the lighter after turning them on
Psycho, thank you for putting this together. This is amazing designed map, looks completely different to all of other Phasmophobia maps, and IMO personally, it's much more cleaner and less clutter than Sunny Meadows, if the Farmhouses rework will be as clean as this, then they are heading toward the right direction of map designing/redesign. 12 floors is a lot of walking to do, I think it should be classed as medium map. But I like how simple they put on breaker location, on the wall next to the stairs on all floors randomly so that's very useful. The cursed possessions position does make sense and well placed. I can't wait to see your gameplay of this map and showing us how to loop Revenant on tiny looping spot that u will find XD Fantastic video! Thank you again
I am genuinely enjoying this map a great deal. Gotta take it seriously like Sunny Meadows and Prison tho, cause it takes ages to get from top to bottom. I have had a ghost hunt while we were still looking for it, and the only reason I knew was because I went to flick a switch randomly and couldn't. It was at the front door tho, so we were never gonna see it hunt from the top xD

The effectiveness of a lot of those hiding spots that's NOT a proper box with doors or crouch-only space that is deep (long distance from entry) seems like they're safe ONLY if ghost doesn't set a waypoint to allow a line of sight into the area. Of course those closets, mini-rooms, & I assume the bathroom stall, are safe only as long as ye hang onto the door AND keep it shut, LOL! LOL, I see that they've applied the adaptive eyesight system in the negative if one stares into the lighthouse's beacon for too long. Makes sense. Methinks the devs should apply that in varying degrees to other lights in the game too. Particularly the campsites' campfires if they're lit. But methinks the effect should take effect on any light source, commensurate to how big/bright the light source is. IE: on one end the matches and small candles should have very little effect, while the lighthouse beacon will almost totally (and temporarily) blind ya. It's gonna be VERY interesting to see the extent of the ghosts' default wandering waypoints compared to the open hiding spots! I can envision the possibility of having to scoot if a ghostie wanders too close to one end of an open hiding spot forcing ye to relocate further to the opposite end or even abandon that spot! That'd make for a rather, ...exciting game of hide and seek, LOL! Any wagers on that next week's challenge will take place IN the lighthouse? I'm betting it'll 100% take place in the lighthouse. 👻🎸🎸 --- 🤘😆🎸

What's the deal with the road map that appeared a long time ago on steam for this game? According to her, there should be much more news in 0.10 than just a new map
The roadmap is plans, not reality. They have those items on their to-do list and aspire to get them done in specific version numbers. But if there are setbacks of any kind, or sometimes things go quicker than expected, the list changes. As Ctank says; they said in the patchnotes that they shuffled some stuff around and that the 0.10 content is being pushed back one version. As they are hiring new team members I expect that to be a reason for some shuffling, as well as a lot of equipment changes that need to be tested on every map. This new map looks stunning though, and I can't wait to see the updated Farmhouses!
This maps definitely not gonna be fun if its a revenant, especially if it spawns in a room where there are no hiding spots nearby, even maybe on a floor below or above. Yes, stairs are hiding spots but its very unreliable Not sure what to think yet
That second closet that you covered in this vid is now locked. The crazy thing is, I was playing with my friend, and one game (myling ghost) I WAS able to enter the closet, the next (Moroi ghost) I wasn’t. It was suddenly locked. Is there anyone that knows what happened? P.S. there was actually a bug that we found in the closet - it could glitch you out of the map. So maybe it got patched WHILE we were playing? Is that even possible?
Releasing in 20 minutes. The patchnotes just went live for us. Content creators affiliated with Kinetic get 24 hours early access. Helps them patch some last minute stuff like broken hiding spots or things that can get exploited. Content creators are good at finding them live with their viewers xD
Tell me you know nothing about how game development works without telling me. News Flash for you, game devs aren't working 24/7, that's called working overtime and some countries have laws heavily against that. In the hours they're not working they are allowed to do whatever the hell they want to.
yes, the devs saw the player count go down and just pulled this update out of their ass... Clearly there's been some internal issues at Kinetic, the console port is probably screwing them over heavily, as all the development they have to do for the main game needs to happen for the console port too (unless they have managed to work it out or something)
Y'know, I almost never see DK on Twitch, but yeah, I do see Lav and CJ on Twitch, but mind ye, most of the time it's ONLY on the weekends, their evenings and their days off. They're NOT on at any other times. Those times I'd assume that's when they're at the studio, but I never asked because it's none of my business.
