These high end sunscreens made you feel so sticky and heavy, even when your skin type is dry, I guess. Imagine the struggle we oily skin people face before choosing and then after applying these sunscreens, because literally every sunscreen can make my skin greasy, dull looking and feels so heavy that I always want to wipe it off as soon as possible. Never found a holy grail sunscreen for my combination yet so oily skin.

But I really holy grail for oily and sensitive skin.

UV Doux gel works when we are inside office or house but it’s reapplication is nightmare. When I travelled extensively it provided a good coverage but also it felt heavy on my skin.
ER sunscreen is good so far but haven’t tested it in extreme conditions.
Nivea SPF 50 was excellent for my hands while travelling. To be honest I put it on my face as well and it didn’t break me out😂.

I have so many terrible experience with sunscreen in India that now when I travel I literally cover my face & body with thick cotton scarf and I only wear Sweatshirts and hoodies.. underneath my scarf I use Paula’s choice , but I don’t trust if it’s that effective outdoor ( indoor it works fine) .. Tbh my travel pics are boring cause I love my skin more than fancy photography 😁

Hello Rubina, thank you for doing the sunscreen testing series and making it normal to reapply sunscreen in the public. I absolutely disliked the tinted version of Reequil sunscreen for the silicone build up and it stains my collar. The regular requil suncreen is rather comfortable to use. I have tried some of the sunscreen mentioned this video and felt the same. I was wondering if the forest essential sunscreen gives enough protection? It great for reapplication and feels comfortable in my sensitive skin. However, I stoped using it because I did get sunburn even after using it. Are there any mineral sunscreens available in India which we can rely on holidays and beach vacation?Thank you again for sharing this!

    1. Indian mineral sunscreens - Bello photostable and suncross spf , they are tooo drying for my sensitive dry acne prone skin, feels suffocating on reapplying that i sweat horribly , horrible cast with reapplication
    2. Biore UV aqua rich essence - gives dewy look but with several reapplication even my dry skin looks like greasy ball

I hate experimenting with sunscreena. normal vlcc gel sunscreen spf 50. didn't break me out and doesn't tan much for few hours in the sun for day to day basis.been using these for as long as I can remember. for vacations in the hills or beach Neutregena spf 50 or above. nothing else works I thought of buying the requil one but didn't for some reason😂
