I went on a Himalayan trek for a week. I used the Re'equil ultra matte dry touch sunscreen. I re-applied may be upto 4 times. The weather was changing drastically from sunny to rainy. I had tied my hair into two ponytails and hence the back of my neck was exposed to sun where I forgot to apply. I had severe sunburns there. But on the face, not even a speck of tan or change of color. It goes powder dry with sheer finish. Not matte, not oily, not moisturized. Just plain flat finish with nothing left behind. At the end of the trek, my face was absolutely like how I began. One thing I should also note is, I didn't compromise on rest of my routine just because I was traveling or trekking. I continued to do all my steps in morning and night time routine without fail. Except for the back of my neck (my fault entirely) Re'equil sunscreen is fab travel/holiday sunscreen.
@@shweta7609 gravitates towards oily, but not so much. It's primarily normal. But if I'm held at gun point and asked to choose between dry and oily, I'd have to choose oily 😄
thanks for sharing m going to try Re'equil ultra matte dry touch. I went to goa for 5 days used innisfree triple care sunscreen every 2 hrs - it did protect me from the sun but it has a crazy white cast i looked like a ghost everywhere i went. I would then cover the white cast with a darker shade of foundation. Reapplication was an issue. The holiday in goa did teach me that the sunscreen works but the white cast is terrible! I had ppl staring at me for applying sunscreen at a beach shake but i just did not care. where as my husband got completely burnt, he wanted a tan.

Since then for reapplication I actually spritz my face with water or some face mist and wipe off the top layer using a reusable cotton pad! This fixed my pilling problem

thank you Kanta :) Glad you find the content meaningful 💕💕
Wow Mam! Take a bow. What an amazing video based on experience and actual wear testing on field.
Beautiful surroundings and the video has great aesthetics value.
For the last few month have been using products based on your recommendation and always look forward for your reviews.
I have used ER susncreen outside it has been decent. Nivea and Neutrogena worked great on my hands. Nivea was really good as I used it while traveling to dessert area.
Will try Dermafique and Lactocalamine.
awesome! thank you for sharing :)
Lacto calamine and bioderma burn the eyes like no tomorrow ! However the finish of the lacto calamine sunscreen is beautiful
I really love your channel and keep coming Bk to it. Could u suggest some tan removal tips?

Great review! Can you please suggest a silicon free mineral sunscreen for my oily-acne prone - sensitive skin? (Hope it does exist 🤞)
Such a refreshing and real video !!! Loved it..
May I know the beautiful place in the background?
its my village in uttarakhand
Thank you Rubina for wonderful information & guiding us in a right way. Usually the you tubers are paid for their reviews but your videos are genuine, unpaid & honest.
wow just wow! best video on sunscreens! everrrr
Nice and very unique-practical way to test sunscreens. I luved it.
My experience wid reapplication of sunscreen: It itches wen I reapply my sunscreen. During work hrs I can't wash my face so I hv to reapply on the top wic make my skin itchy (and oily too). However, I do try to clean and wipe out the oil and watevr amount of remaining sunscreen frm my face wid tissue..but still I suffer the itching 😔.
And as I sweat a lot the lacto calamine sunscreen doesn't stay on my face. It cms out wid my "flowing" paseena and goes in my eyes.😑...
real world problems with sunscreen. if its itching its not for you as that means its irritating the skin..try a different one.
Hello Rubina Mam.
Thank You for this Suncreen Recommendations Video.
Please review Neutrogena Cleansing Oil for all of us & SUGANDA Skincare Retionol.
Thank You 💜 Looking Forward to it..
Best wishes to you 🙏😀

Thank you and glad you find the content meaningful 💕💕
Whenever I need any help for my skin and hair related issues…. I keep coming to your channel again and again…. Coz your videos are so helpful for us…. You go in the debts to find the good one….
So nice of you ❤️❤️
Rubina, can you also please review good Indian brand moisturizers with SPF for indoors? I prefer not layering too many products when I'm home and feel like many of us don't need a dedicated suncreen indoors. Thanks in advance!
The UV Index also always a major role, too. I think you missed that point! :)
It def does. i left it out as I want to do a separate video on it someday.
This is such a informative video, Love the experiment 🥰🥰. Thank you for all the effort.
Thank you! Cheers!
The most natural and genuine video on sunscreens..also Rubina can u advice about the pilgrim day cream with white lotus spf 50..
thank you..i have tried it but its kinda drying for me as I have dry skin...
@@RubinaSkincare thanks a lot.. appreciate your quick respose

Just when I was going to buy a sunscreen for myself.
Great informative video!!

I am freaking happy coz I already own lacto calamine sunscreen 😇😇😇😇

Would you review the blessing tree sunscreen?
Wow,hard work for us indeed ,you can just come up with all creative ideas ,to keep us informed .thanks@ Rubina great job .
My pleasure 😊 Thank you for sharing 💕💕
Awesome video.. would love to try dermafique sunscreen after i finish my earth rhythm.
One question
Maam why not put earth rhythm sunscreen to test since its such a hype in sunscreens lately and a good product according to me . As i came across through you only.
Much love
Enjoy holidays.
Regards
I loved ER but i forgot to carry it with me
Out.of all sunscreen video, this one by far is the most loved one by me, coz you have shown actual practical scenario outdoors, which means alot rather then sitting at home just taking about the ingr list , which rest all do, you are different among others, from you only I can to know the importance of certified sunscreens, so thanks ☺️ alot for everything
thank you for your note, Sapna :)
Mam where were u for holidays?
uttarakhand..i belong to this place.
what a experiment👏👏.....u always come up with great ideas...kudos to u ❤️
Thanks mitali ❤💙
Thank you for this video.. You didn't try re'equil sunscreen.. 😐 You used to like it..
there are so many broken hearts that I didn't try reequil!! I DID. I will be making a separate video with it because I had so much to say...
thank you for sharing V💖
@@RubinaSkincare waiting waiting ❤️
Fantastic video. This video and content pushed me to comment on your video to support you. By the way I use qurez Sunscreen. I haven't got burned my skin using this. Looking forward to other videos. Thank u for time and effort. Much appreciated. Lots of love
Thanks for sharing!! :)
Thankyou so much for such effort! I was so confused on which sunscreen to buy which is affordable and works well. Gonna buy lacto calamine 🥺❤️
The background was breathtaking beautiful. Rubina you never ever fail to deliver. I m awestruck by your choice of video .really 👏...this time it could not have become more authentic. Hats off to you honey.also have a recommendation for sunscreen. Do try lasheild 40 n if possible review it too.love luck n happiness to you..🤗
thanks Kirti :)
Isn't pa++ too low for a sunscreen, let alone use it in outdoors and directed sun in the mid day of peak hours. Lab muffin says that even pa+++ isn't going to give good uv a protection and advices to go only for pa++++.
well its a rating system to begin with and ++ is good for indoors
Please do test sprays that are transparent thx for your work as always
Hai mam...I have used dermafique for the first ...on the first application I didn't get any irritation..but next time when am using am feeling itchy and getting small pimples ..after washing my face itching and bubbles disappear next day ....so tell me what's exactly prob getting?...we should apply directly on the face r explain how? what is the prob actually am facing please let me know?
Hi Rubina,Thanks for the informative video, would request you to try minimalist's sunscreen as well.
review up :)
@@RubinaSkincare Thanks,superfast :)
Lots of love to you ❣️ may I know whether LA shield is good one?
i have not tried it but if its not certified then i would be sceptical
I used the La Shield fisico sunscreen on my workation in the mountains for nearly 2 months, even on my outdoor walks and treks. My skin didn't tan and it also cured the horrible ghost like tan that I got on my face in the first 2 days because of not applying any sunscreen.
Earth rhythm is not in the list..I just bought it recently 😄I am trying to invest in certified sunscreens.
its a great sunscreen. i forgot to get it along...sob sob sob
@@RubinaSkincare yes first time in my life i am loving a sunscreen on my oily skin😂..but yeah I will definitely buy lacto calamine sunscreen as it's super affordable.
Love love love your video..started using Lacto calamine recently.after watching your sunscreen certification video ..and used it while treaking last week...thanks for your work.you are really inspiring 🙋
thank you for sharing :)
Does it prevent tanning
@@Suubhii I don't know ,I don't have tanning,but consistent use of sunscreen is good
This is such a useful and practical video. really appreciate the effort. Would you be able to review Tvakh SILKY MATTE TINT SUN GUARD GEL → COLLOIDAL OATMEAL & CARROTSEED sunscreen. I found it very good for indoors. The finish, the tint all good. I really go by your reviews
♥️Take love , The gem of Skincare 🌻🦋. keep creating & keep shining ♥️!
Hii mam...can you plz suggest me effective & affordable sunscreen...currently i m using blossom kochar's cucumber sunsreen with spf 30 broad spectrum uva/uvb. Mostly i stay indoor & outdoor i cover my face with cloth..
Got addicted to your content videos..A big thanks for this real peek into sunscreens...Your serums video of Minimalist & Deconstruct had me hooked...
Made me realize that at 45 , I do need serums....
A big Thanks once again...
U inspire me to take care of my skin....Lots of Love& Blessings dear .....God Bless.....
Welcome Fatema and super happy to know that you are enjoying the content :)
Enjoyed the new idea 👍 how about Avene sunscreen?
super. i have not tried it yet
Thankyou you saved my money for bipderma I was thinking of trying it out....also talking about the lacto calamine it irritates my eyes an dif you have got very sensitive skin like mine it tingles alot during sun exposure also it gave a cast on my skin even during the first application and was very greasy and came outs pretty easily with a splash of water and I look like a ghost😂
Glad it was helpful! yeah some sunsreens turn us to caspers...
thank you for sharing :)
@@RubinaSkincare why didn't you took your Neutrogena.... it's your favourite naa?
Have you tried La Shield(Fisico) sunscreen?! If so, what's your experience?! I just cancelled my Lacto Calamine's sunscreen order now after I read that it burns eyes and that it has overpowering fragrance. My eyes are already prone to irritation, and to use anything that burns eyes is such a no no :)
@@salk9224 the lashield was horrible for skin as it was very thick and comedogenic that caused Closed comedones on my skin....if you don't have CC's problem or your skin isn't acne prone than you can try it....i also didn't liked it as it is a little difficult to take it out even with double cleansing..... also if we try to reapply it the white cast it leaves on my skintone is horrible
@@manvendrasingh1814 thank you for the reply.
I love using Re'equil(blue one) sunscreen, but it's a lil too mattifying and thick for Delhi's winter.
So, any idea about some sunscreens for winter that are lightweight, doesn't sting eyes and are not heavily fragranced?!
U r a very hard working influencer... ❤️❤️❤️ Love you 💞💞💞
thanks Riya..i love it :)
lots of love right back 💕💕
Wow awesome ,
I used to think whenever I watch sunscreen video made by everybody on RUclips, just sitting at home and telling which one is good and which one is bad,not tested by anybody, the actual test is outside in the sun, and I have really tried many which did not work, naam bade darshan chhote sunscreens
lol..i agree 💕💕💕
Mam please suggest sunscreen which is sweat free ..every sunscreen make my skin dull n dark
Thanku so much... Great review
Mam... please guide me....I have got oily skin and acne prone.... which sunscreen is better?
Love your videos maam. I have oily skin and using retinoid serum. Would you please suggest the best sunscreen between reequil , kaya and lacto calamine.
And maam please suggest a good eye cream for eye puffiness. Thank you ❤❤❤
thanks Tapati.
i have a video on eye creams please do look. reequil is good
As you did series on retinol please do it on Sunceeens too!?!!!😭😭😭
:)
I am 42 years old and one of those people who have woken up to the importance of skincare really late in life.
Your in-depth videos and guidance are a blessing, be it essential acids, serums and sunscreens.
I have chronic condition of Lupus, so if not any other skin care routine..... but sunscreen is a must for me. So nothing is too much info for me :)
And I too have a dry skin and thin, and Lupus has obviously made it super sensitive.
Currently I have 2 sunscreen from Wow brand. One is the am2pm spf50 and the second is Matte finish spf55.
Can you please give your review and feedback for these products!
Thank you for sharing Maitreyee.
Though i have not tried these products, the fact is that these dont appear to be certified. So please do share with the brand and ask them to confirm if it is. If these are not certified I would strongly suggest looking at another brand...
hope this helps :)
Hello mam started watching ur videos as i found very helpful.mam will u plz guide me about vitamin c serum for combination skin as i have uneven skin (small patch of pigmentation on cheek).
Mam for avoiding wrinkles any cream to recommend .As i am here in UAE so produts thoes are easily available. Would be thankful to u .lots of love
you should use the one from the ordinary- its the absolute best
Even I was extremely disappointed with bioderma sunscreen. I bought bioderma last week with very high expectations ,I applied it on my face and it didn't sting but later when I got back home my face was covered with red bumps and skin felt very itchy. My skin is still healing. Doesn't look like chemical sunscreen work for my skin. Can you recommend any fragrance free physical sunscreen.
Thank you for sharing. Have you tried the reequil ones?
@@RubinaSkincare No I haven't tried the sheer zinc from Requil. Is there any chance you will be reviewing it any time soon. I have seen your review of requil chemical sunscreen but don't think that will suit me.
Di ur opinion on blessing sunscreen lotion.....??
Thank you Rubina for this informative video
