I’m in love with Avene fluid! The best thing about it that it also has Triasorb which blocks part of the visible light range, and this is the only thing that prevents hyperpigmentation for me.
On top of wearing my sunscreen religiously I looove my parasol, a habit I got while living in China. It raises a few eyebrows here in Italy but I don't care, last summer it saved me sunburn and even made me feel cooler waiting for my bus with 40 degrees heat and scorching sun hehehe!
I work in construction and the Avene Very High Protection is my go to this summer. I order it from Europe. After the 3rd generous application it does start to feel sticky and a bit uncomfortable but it does it's job well! The LRP kids one is excellent too! The Japanese Allie Kanebo UV Gel works amazing also. I had good results at a 2 day outdoor music festival with that one!
First time I see review if the LRP Dermo pediatrics wet skin lotion! Such a great product indeed. I've been using it on my face as well and it works exactly like a gripping type of primer. Thank you Kelly ❤
Another Great video!! Thank you for always posting the ingredients in your videos. It’s an extra touch that really helps and saves us time !! I really look forward to your posts.
So glad the ingredient cards help! Sometimes it can be such a pain to track down accurate ingredient lists when that's the most important information for making a decision if something is right for us, so I'm glad that these can save the pain!
Hi Kelly if you're going to order European spf then I really recommend Ultrasun or Evy - both offer longwear spf protection. Some of the modern sun filters offer much more than two hours of protection and those are the ones used in these products. They are tested to eight hours and the level of spf on the box is the level of protection after eight hours. For very sweaty or swimming conditions I recommend applying again after four hours just to be sure, but these use lamellar technology to sink further into the skin and provide longer wear. It's so much easier than trying to reapply a normal spf every two hours, especially for makeup wearers. I have rosacea and want to hide at least some of the redness, so I wear light makeup in Summer. I'm a Fitzpatrick one and practice sun safe behaviour, but I trust ultrasun to protect me and it's the best I've used. I have dry skin and prefer a cream/lotion in stead of the Evy mousse, but they work very similarly. Best wishes.
Oh thank you so much for this video!!! Can never find recommendations for working outside… that’s what I’m doing all day everyday outside in my gardens! I knew you lived plants too would love a tour! 🤍🤍🤍☀️☀️☀️🪴🪴🪴🌿🌿🌿🌳🌳🌳🐞🐞🐞🌸🌺🌸🌺🌸🌺 my hibiscus just started blooming and my strawberries are so yummy!!! 🍓🍓🍓
I love the Melty Cream Lip balm! I found out about it from another commenter a few years ago. That’s why I try to share my experiences- you never know when you can help someone find a great product. I’ve recently recommended your channel to a few people on others’ channels. ☺️
Thank you Kelly for the recommendations for "sweaty" sunscreens. I am always on the lookout for a good one for my husband when he works outside, which is almost every day. I know you love Asian skincare and are an expert on the different websites. I've never ordered from Stylevana and I'm curious if you've ever had any issues ordering from them.
I love that you encourage us to enjoy the sun in a safe way! Do either of the lip spf’s you mentioned have a bad taste to them? I always get a chemical taste in my mouth. I can’t seem to find my perfect lip spf! Thanks Kelly 😊
I really like the Nivea Kids Swim & Play SPF 50 as a sweat resistant sunscreen. The rest of the Nivea kids line is fantastic, with lighter textures available that are still water and sweat resistant but not quite as tough.
I live and work on a farm in the hot and humid SE USA, so this video is great info for me! I’ll definitely be checking out your sunscreen recs. I haven’t found one for body that I love, but my favorite so far for face is Elta MD UV Pure - I stock up when it’s on sale. I wear long sleeved, high neck, wicking sun shirts from Coolibar - also expensive, but I love to buy last year’s styles on clearance. They also make great sun hats with wide brims, and one that has a short little “cape” on the back to cover the ears and neck. I look ridiculous working in the gardens, but I don’t give a hoot! 😂
I agree Coolibar is amazing, pricey but worth the investment! I know what you mean about looking a bit out of place, most of my neighbors tan or work outside in swimsuits etc, but same as you I don't care because my skin is happier being protected!
Is this similar to the Reiman p20 sensitive faces? I’ve been using that one for a year or so it is water resistant and has a PA/PFA of 50. I have very intense melasma that is triggered in the sun and this one has helped keep my melasma from coming back and or getting darker in a lot of spots. LRP UV mune 400 is a good one too but it makes my skin look super yellow
I recently started as a USPS carrier and have just been reapplying my normal water resistant sunscreen more often so I can’t wait to try the Avene. Thank you! Also the UPF clothing is amazing!
I love buying hats and the one you showed is super cute! Yesstyle also has a lot of hat selections but only a few options that have upf 50. I've purchased before and really like them but since the brim is light weight it does flap around when windy but when its windy i just grab a heavier brimmed hat. The Yesstyle ones are so nice because i always can carry one with me because of being so packable
Last time I went swimming in the beach, I was surprised when I got sunburn on my shoulders. I was wearing a shirt. I applied and reapplied water resistant spf on my face and other exposed body parts but my shoulders that was covered with my shirt got sunburned. So now, I bought a swimming shirt with UPF protection.
Could you do a whole video about water resistant face sunscreens please? Australian sunscreens have to be 4 hour water resistant, wonder how they compare to Asian ones in terms of feel and finish.
7:23 i love denatured alcohol because of the fast absorbency! Do you think this would feel heavy on the face even if you haven’t tried it (ik you dont like denatured alcohol on your face)
I understand the heavy strong spf for protection but what if I want a summer tan, would I still get that with that max protection. or should I go for a lower spf. I'm all for your health, but I also love a beautiful summer tan.
It is recommended you wear at least spf 30. So what I do (like if I’m on vacation) is I’ll wear a high spf (50+) through the beginning of the trip (cuz I don’t want my trip ruined by being burned to a crisp). Then later in the trip I’ll spend short increments in the sun with lower spf (like no more than 30 minutes with spf 30) before going back inside to reapply a higher spf if I’m going to continue to be in direct sun. Also of note, recent data analysis is showing a lack of correlation between POC wearing sunscreen and incidence of skin cancers, despite worse skin cancer outcomes. It has been shown that the poor outcomes in POC as it relates to skin cancer is largely due to the lack of training in recognizing the condition in darker skin, leading to later diagnosis after the lesion has already metastasized. So if you’ve “been blessed with more melanin” as Kelly often says 🥰 you can get away with a lower spf (in regards to cancer risk, photo-aging is a whole other discussion 😅)
I have a lot of sun hats that have the hole thing on top I got mine from Amazon too!! I wear some crazy sun hats that even cover my face when I’m out in my yard 😅my neighbors are probably a bit scared
I have used both. I find the LRP to be much lighter in texture with less of a greasy finish. It also dries down completely clear where the Avenue has a bit of yellow tint in it that can stain collars if you’re wearing on your neck. Since I can get a bigger bottle of the Avenue, I use that one on my kid!
I got a 6” brim waterproof sun hat spf 50 and that same jacket!!!! Been wearing it everyday along with my big glasses … I got tons of sunspots on the sides of my face from wearing visors so I switched to a big big hat lol … I got the Kose suncut waterproof sunscreen to try haven’t opened it yet but my HaruHaru wonder has been really good doesn’t run at all … 🤍🤍🤍🍓🍓🍓

I need to get one, so elegant and protective!

I like the Ultra Violette SPF lip balms! They are all SPF50 PA++++, and they're so moisturising as well.
This is amazing. I am just in need of a sweat and water resistant sunscreen!! Thank you Kelly!
Glad this can help!

Stylevana is good for low prices, it usually takes close to 4 weeks to ship to the States so keep that in mind when ordering!
I don‘t know if that helps since I‘m from Germany… I have already ordered several times from their website and never had any issues with them :)
I love that you encourage us to enjoy the sun in a safe way! Do either of the lip spf’s you mentioned have a bad taste to them? I always get a chemical taste in my mouth. I can’t seem to find my perfect lip spf! Thanks Kelly 😊
They actually don't! The Naked Sundays actually has a vanilla flavor and the melty lip cream has a very mild slightly sweet taste.
@@KellyDriscoll awesome, thanks! You always give the best recommendations!

ahhhh yay I was looking for water/sweat proof spfs :)))
You're lovely Kelly 💖 and all of your videos are so interesting and informative. 🫴
So happy you enjoyed, Barbara!
The Evy mousse sunscreen is the BEST for water exposure. I believe it’s Swedish and have to get online from US

It makes me yellow too!! I heard p20 has a white cast though? Is it more or less oily than the uvmune creme og gel?
I recently started as a USPS carrier and have just been reapplying my normal water resistant sunscreen more often so I can’t wait to try the Avene. Thank you!
Also the UPF clothing is amazing!
Hi kelly , so glad to see a video from you 🎉 😊😊 xx
I love your content Kelly! Thank you for sharing all of these great sunscreen options. ☀️

I love the wider bucket hat styles for running errands because it's so easy to just stick it in your bag! Yesstyle has some really cute hats too!
Second those thoughts about lawn care! I need to pick up some lip SPF.
Lawn care is both exhausting and rewarding!
Unfortunately no cruelty free options 🐰🐭 are there any?

Something about water seems to make sun even more intense on skin! Rash guards and UPF rating clothing are so helpful!
Hey Kelly
Can you please make a video on Numbuzin skincare products?
Would love hearing your review on those products
Thanks for the suggestion! I've already covered the no. 3 serum in this or that episode 21 ruclips.net/video/cmow6e0Xlyo/видео.html

Perfect timing as the Midwest is 🥵🥵🥵
Yo we heated up FAST out here!!
Have you read the book Flawless by Elise Hu yet? It’s all about K-beauty and the culture and politics around it.
I understand the heavy strong spf for protection but what if I want a summer tan, would I still get that with that max protection. or should I go for a lower spf. I'm all for your health, but I also love a beautiful summer tan.
What about self taner?

FYI Avene pronounced ‘Ah-ven’ (ven rhymes with ten) not Ah-vene.
Sunscreen on tbe neck..
Hmmm ..
How do yiu deal with yellow discoloration left from sunscreen on white/light colored collars?
Don't wear white or wait for SPF to full dry before putting on your shirt.Burned neck is no fun!
Can you do an APLB skincare review?
For some reason all sweat resistant and water resistant spf start pilling on me. LRP fluid is the only one that holds on my skin
Maybe evy for the body then?
Does anybody know how rhe avene compares to LRP uvmume?
I have used both. I find the LRP to be much lighter in texture with less of a greasy finish. @@sarahleandrasutton2834 damn the avene must be super yellow😳 because i get slight yellow hue using LRP
YES!!!!!!
It is sweat proof
Yes, all the SPF products in this video are sweat proof, per the title of this video!
🐝
The skin aqua sunscreens now have water resistance rating too and the gold gel and essence are designed for sweaty and humid weather
I got a 6” brim waterproof sun hat spf 50 and that same jacket!!!! Been wearing it everyday along with my big glasses … I got tons of sunspots on the sides of my face from wearing visors so I switched to a big big hat lol … I got the Kose suncut waterproof sunscreen to try haven’t opened it yet but my HaruHaru wonder has been really good doesn’t run at all … 🤍🤍🤍🍓🍓🍓
Have heard good things about suncut, hope your skin likes it! Jackets and hats ftw, they definitely help boost sun protection!
Haru Haru makes some lovely products
I wanna try the la roche posay body sunscreen but it’s unavailable in every website I find, and they dont ship to canada 🧍🏽♀️😔
Try Ebay, a lot of deals there!
