- just arrived at the newly refurbished Wetherspoons in Skegness, and the transformation is impressive after being closed for a few months. The visit was definitely worth it - the food was delicious, reasonably priced, and the service was excellent with friendly staff. We will definitely be returning.

It used to be the lion hotel. And there was a charity shop on the corner.next door was the lion arcade.and it turned into a shop. Called Argos. That's all since at least 1990s

They serve nice lunches, too! Had half chicken. It was very tasty.
There was a lion statue above the corner door. And in the mid 1990s there was a flood right up to the lion. From the sea , there was waves up to the lion and when the lion arcade shopping centre was there , there was metal steps at the back same time it hailed , and the hail stones were about a foot high,on the steps,

Love spoons
We went in the pub and they had a table set up for staff even though people couldn't find a seat/table. Some staff came to the table and were talking about the food in there and actually said that they see what they do with the food so wouldn't eat in there. Hello

I kept telling the ‘Boss’ that I was sure I had seen a thumbnail of a Wetherspoons breakfast video but couldn’t find it again. She thinks I have lost it. I am 58 today so that could be a factor. 🙂 Wetherspoons, Skegness went downhill rapidly, if only they can keep the standards up this time. The one in Melton did the same. When it reopened it was great, 10/10, but now? Keep on showing the Great British seaside resort of Skegness. It’s got potential👍

All weatherspoons food is the same doesn’t matter where you review it all if it’s fetch in and basically just heated up so the chefs only get minimum wage alright for a cheap meal but all the same
I disagree there I’ve had lots of main meals and breakfasts at Wetherspoons all over the country and they’re not all the same. Some are good but some are amazing and yes it is a shame that the chefs are on a minimum wage they need to be on more

and I get some can be slightly cooked better than overs but all the product is the same basically roughly all taste the same everyone I’ve been too anyway

Recently had a breakfast in a Wetherspoons. The bacon was so thin it was almost see-through. Not good at all.

HI Neil Just watched your video of having breakfast at Weatherspoons Pub.
Firstly I do not eat Englsh Breakfast any more the last time I had this when I was younger for me now it would be Cereal or Coisants and coffee.
From what I saw on your plate to me looked poor quality bacon undercooked and the rest of this looked like it was frozen and come out of a microwave.
I had read a report that someone had gone into a weatherspoons place in London and they had a Engish Breakfast to and they said the same comment that all this was frozen then put into a microwave to even the egg.
I am glad you enjoyed it but its not for me.

Hi, Why not ask them directly? I've kept my activities secretive to uncover the truth. You can verify this through the receipt I displayed at the end. If they wanted a polished outcome, I would have informed them that I expected it to be complimentary.
Yes good ale at good prices, I always support them, and use them when I can.
