Regarding the HOA there, we were building there and the rates were expected to go from $185/mo. to $385/mo. once the clubhouse was completed. $385 per month is rough. Our house was going to cost us $1,050,000 to build for 2400 sq ft. We ended up bailing out of that. Ended up in Sky Mesa with a 3400 sq ft house for $899k instead and $83/mo. HOA fees. Very happy.
