I've only just started getting into journaling & pen-paling but my scraps of paper I will be making into confetti. I'll also be buying some different shape hole punches just to change it up. However bigger size pieces I will use as tags to wrap washi tape around or I'll use them as address labels, the ideas are endless. When I started this hobby I told myself that I will endeavour to use every bit of paper, cardboard, plastic, packaging etc. Since then I've seen alot of things from home to work to just being out and about that I can re-use/re-purpose/recycle, not only a great way to save money but I'll have one-off/unique work. So glad that I'll finally be able to use all my stationery that Ive collected over years and make something that other like-minded ppl would enjoy too
I love using my left over scraps to make my own embellishments. It seems that they go much better with the pattern papers that I have in my stash. I never seem to find flowers or other embellishments that go well with my projects, unless you buy the whole collection but that can be costly. But I really like your paper clip embellishments, very neat. I need to make some. Thank you for sharing.

Another lovely video with useful tips. I have made little embellishments in the past from leftover bits 'n' bobs, but haven't tried the decorated paper clip idea yet, though I have lots of small off cuts which would be ideal, thank you for the inspiration. Susanne
I have dies that cut the tiniest of flowers about 3 - 5 mm with my tiny scraps as well as what you do. I glue 2-4 mm scaps onto A3, A5, A6 paper the emboss them for cool backgrounds. I use some to make bookmarks - i have Tim Holtz bookmark die and the tiniest is 2 by 4 mm in size. When card making I will search stamps and die to fit the scraps. I make tiny houses out of cereal packets. Use plastic for windows or die cuts for example Tim Holtz bird die I cut the cage or make shaker cards with.
