This is a wonderful idea! I'm picturing making some with a Christmas theme. I like to give out small gifts during the holidays to my hairstylist, etc., and these would be adorable for that. TFS!
Adorable. Love them, I have a granddaughter that absolutely loves to read. These would be great for her and a great project for her teen group at church.
You do not cease to amaze me Ali! These are so going on my to do list as soon as l am settled. They will look awesome on my journals. And the quotes are the icing and the cherry on the cake. Very well done!

thank you so much for sharing..I would have never thought to do something like this! I especially liked your adding the words also, it just completes the project!! These are so pretty!
Great video and easy to follow thank you for sharing us this brilliant idea, I have all I need to get started look forward to watching more of your videos xxxxx
I accidentally clicked unlike because I didn't realize I had previously liked this video. I am so sorry because it is very informative and a good video!
These are amazing!!! Would never have thought about doing this. Love them. Must try to make some. I did subscribe to your channel. Looking forward to more videos. Have a great day!!!
Thanks for the video. I don't use paperclips much because they always slide off or get caught on things - but I'm going to try these for sure. Just a question, why don't you have the longer length of paperclip on the outside? I would have thought it would be better for securing onto any paperwork or do you find the short edge sufficient? I guess I'll try both to see what I prefer. Oh and I like the speed of your video. I don't think it is too fast - otherwise it would be too long to watch! Cheers - Jules
Unbeleivable.. never thought of a paper clip that way. I've only seen jewelry made from them. Is is a great way of using small pieces. GREAT job and video. but can you tell me in inches what size you cut paper? I always screw it up trying to convert. thank you. love the idea.
That's cute - I've added "flags" to paper clips, but I've never done them this way before. I'm no good at using a hot glue gun though - forever burning myself. I was tensing up on seeing how close the glue gun gets to your fingers ... Will definitely try this though, thanks!!
I always follow the advice I heard from a Martha Stewart show at least 10 years ago: when working with a hot glue gun always keep a bowl of cold water with ice cubes where you work so you can QUICKLY put your hand into the bowl. This has saved me from burning myself many times. I don't even wait to feel an pain. Just submerge! Hope this works for you as it did me.
Feduaura I’m actually using nuvo drops by tonic and 3d pearl drops by ranger. These give some really nice dimension the these paper clips. Thanks for watching. 🥰
Hi, thanks for your comment, i actually give these to my staff where i work, and they love getting them. ❤️ if we was to put them in a set, id probably do a set of six. I don’t really sell my stuff, but could i guess.. crafty hugs. Xx
No, not really because of the hot glue that I use acts as a bit of a cushion. Since making these clips, that are still going strong at work and has held up really well. TFW. Xx
Hi Carrie, conversions are approx, Paper clips are 5cm = 2inch, paper strips 3cm x 11.5 cm = 1.18 x 4.3 inch. You can use any size that you want to make these fun clips. I find the bigger paper clips are better than the smaller one. TFW. ☺️
I do have a question? Being new to social media and crafting I like to watch a lot of RUclips videos and I always see people using stamp pads diapers etc. Inc. and talking about D stressing the edges. Why do people do that what is the significance of that? Is that something that crafters just do? Like to make their mark or is that an extent a part of crafting. JW Wichita Kansas USA
G'day JW, When you hear some distressing the edges, it is normally something done with vintage to give that aged look. I love doing vintage and do a lot of destressing. Tim Holtz does a lot of distressing also. You don't need a special tool. running the blade of a pair of scissor on the edge to rough it up works just as well. Sorry, I"m not sure what a stamp pad diaper is? 😬 Thanks for comments....crafty hugs. xo
adjust your speed settings on the video. you can slow it down to .25 speed and mute your sound if you don't like the weirdness to the music at that slow speed.
Thank you for sharing your ideas.
You are very creative and so inspiring. I really enjoyed watching your work.❤

Thank you for sharing! I am new to all crafting! Would you mind telling which brand of paper cutter that is pictured in the video?
Hi Elizabeth, I use the Tim Holtz/Tonic Guillotine paper trimmer. Thanks for watching! Crafty hugs. Xx
That's cute - I've added "flags" to paper clips, but I've never done them this way before.
I'm no good at using a hot glue gun though - forever burning myself. I was tensing up on seeing how close the glue gun gets to your fingers ...

You can also use any other kind of glue
Awesome paper clip embellishments, tfs Ali
I love the paper clip idea What kind of paper trimmer do you have
I've got a Tim Holtz paper trimmer and a heavy duty one also Boston 2652 Guillotine, but since having the Tim Holtz one, I use this the most. xx
Cool ideas :) what are you using in 12:20 in these little bottles? Are they paints or inks? Thanks for answer :)
Feduaura I’m actually using nuvo drops by tonic and 3d pearl drops by ranger. These give some really nice dimension the these paper clips. Thanks for watching. 🥰
Those are absolutely beautiful! I’m guessing that you sell them in sets..? How many per set? And what would you charge for those?
Hi, thanks for your comment, i actually give these to my staff where i work, and they love getting them. ❤️ if we was to put them in a set, id probably do a set of six. I don’t really sell my stuff, but could i guess.. crafty hugs. Xx
doesnot the outline of t he paper clip show through the paper?
No, not really because of the hot glue that I use acts as a bit of a cushion. Since making these clips, that are still going strong at work and has held up really well. TFW. Xx
What are the US measurements?
Hi Carrie, conversions are approx, Paper clips are 5cm = 2inch, paper strips 3cm x 11.5 cm = 1.18 x 4.3 inch. You can use any size that you want to make these fun clips. I find the bigger paper clips are better than the smaller one. TFW. ☺️
Measurements in inches?

I find it quite relaxing.
Much to fast...........
miss half the video
adjust your speed settings on the video. you can slow it down to .25 speed and mute your sound if you don't like the weirdness to the music at that slow speed.
I thought they were perfect. Before the words. Seems thwe words covered up and took away from the pretty designs.
Your video I find is too fast for me to see what you are really doing. Sorry..
I. Can’t even see or figure out what you are doing
Cute, however vid a bit to fast !!
Wow to too fast
Love these!
