The change to Talon is meant to address the fact that Talon's melee Q can be cast at a range where he cannot auto attack the same target (to proc his passive for a combo). His ranged Q works fine as it puts him in melee range but this is simply fixing an oversight that has been in Talon's kit since release. This will have a very slight negative impact in lane in some matchups as using a max distance melee Q can be useful to secure minions while staying just out of poke range.
if you want to E someone, you'll just E in that direction, there's no point in E affecting enemies behind you. But new version means Skarner can E away through a wall uninterrupted if there's someone right behind him cause they wont be caught in his dash.

Right? They say adcs don't want to build defence. It's like "Yes riot, you are 100% correct we don't want to build defensive items......... that don't function." When the items works they becomes adcs favorite items in the game until riot then gutts them.
Talon players had to walk a step away to correctly proc passive in moving targets because sometimes they were inside the meelee Q range but outside the AA range so passive couldn't be proc'd, while dashing Q's auto has no lag and almost everytime will proc passive. Although Meelee Q enabled extra AA range to the next attack to be equal to the meelee Q range, in moving targets was unconsistent. Now we will always proc our passive. Thus we r grateful for this fix it's kinda bittersweet because recognizing those side-step situations is what differentiate real Talon mains from casual mains 😂

The Talon change is a really nice QOL change. Talon's passive requires him to AA his target after hitting them with 3 spells to deal a large amount of extra bleed damage. His passive makes up ≈40% of his damage so missing the proc is the difference between getting the kill or not. When Talon Q's a target, he automatically follows up for an AA but currently, because of its implementation, "Melee Q" briefly roots Talon. This often results in Talon getting 3 stacks on his target but then being too far away to AA and proc the damage from his passive. If you ever watch high level Talon players, this is why you'll see them walk away from their target just so they can ranged Q instead of Melee Q. This change will allow Talon to proc his passive damage much more consistently. As a bonus, close Q will also now proc the sudden impact rune.
9:35 Talon Q buff is a quality of life making it basicaly always prock gap closer passives from items and runes, even if cast from melee range. It will not prock champion ability though, so Poppy and Vex won't affect the melee Qs
Just a random QoL suggestion for future tierlists: if you don't know how a change will affect a champion, you can put an "?" on the pic of that champion :)

Kraken Slayer has to be the best mistake Riot ever created for ADC, and just about every attack speed reliant AD melee champions. When that item dealt true damage on its release, that was insane period for most AD champions as it was basically Vayne’s passive that can be stacked with BORK and Rage Blade. Now, its true damage is changed to “attack damage” and this patch just flat out slap a 20% reduction for range champions. The practices of having 3-4 hit procs items with press the attack to counter tanks is so questionable to think about, especially when said items were played with champions that rely on Lethal Tempo’s (now removed from the game) attack speed boost.
If a battle mage is not seen as a threat, that's an absurdly underpowered battle mage. Aurora is a bit more of a lane bully than Ryze Cassie etc., but she also scales worse than those late game hyperscaling battle mages. She's fine.
riot please debug Vlad's minion aggro, his healing on q not always working to the right amount, and the hit box catching on the terrain and especially getting blocked by champion corpses. (just give him the kass passive of moving through units with no collision since hes so slow and the pool bugs when used near minions almost every other time)
How is that a buff to Cass? It is basically a 50 base mana increase + -5/10 of mana cost to her spells - 20 mana regen. Lower damage to her Q, and -5% ap ratio of her E This basically means you can throw like 2 to 3 more fangs than before at the cost of less damage, and since your mana regen is down, you won't get to do much trades with the champ. 😂 so she is basically slightly weaker early and weaker late game.

Her e alone costs 50 per cast, and with a starting mana pool of 350, that means she gets 7 casts of her e before she is fully oom, and gets afk ran down by every champion in the game. Sure this is only level 1, but this doesn't change level 1 or 2, because those abilities cost more mana, than her growth gives her, leaving her in the same situation. Tldr, her e costs 50 mana, her starting pool is 350. 7 casts of her e total is not enough to lane with.
i dont agree with azir being in C tier in 14.15, he will need some testing as mayhaps with the buff to range stormsurge, HOB luden stormsurge horizon azir might come back, it was a build before.
Talon's melee q dash will allow him to follow other champs like his ranged q, unless he is directly on top of the target in which case he wont dash. Also the melee q dash procs the dash rune but isnt really a dash and wont be hindered by things like Poppy's steadfast presence (W).
Okay, I am a Zilean OTP. I've only tested this in one game so far, but, even with the warmogs nerf, rushing warmogs -> cosmic drive feels REALLY good: Warmongs (1000hp) + support items (200hp) + dark seal (50hp) + health rune (65hp) + kindlegem (200hp) gets you the 1500hp really quick and then you build the kindlegem into cosmic drive. I need to test it more, but I expect it'll feel real good for Zilean if you're not too far behind, but just so much movement speed if you can get ahead.
Does Zilean's E proc the new Cosmic Drive passive? I felt it wasn't worth it to build it because the shift into continuous damage just doesn't fit Zilean's playstyle

This was a very positive change for Yone because he isn’t super affected by the Fleet footwork changes because he can run conqueror runes with similar effectiveness which effectively gives him a better late game anyway.

When are you supposed to build Heartsteel on Sett? When I build Heartsteel into Overlord's Bloodmail I do no damage early game but if I don't rush Heartsteel then I'll have way less HP late game, and I always build for big W damage.
Personally I suggest u go boots first then stridebraker then blood mail and then a black cleaver, I myself don't really like building heartsteel on sett

I just love focusing on math-Sett with the big Ws, after mythics and Sanguine Blade were removed and Caitlyn's R had it's AD scaling nerfed, I used to build Prowler's for the raw lethality and 100-0 squishies with her ult, Sett fills that void for me... I'm always disappointed pantheon never gets any love 😢 like you can build him bruiser build that still does damage or you could build a assassin one shot build that even works on tanks and he's versatile you can play him mid, sup, and top but he never makes the S tier list. Plus there's not many champs that counter him if you know wave management and spacing in matchups. Idk just wish my main would get more love lol. But naffirri is my other champ and should definitely be OP tier like they said because it is broken. This is a mouthful of an answer, but hopefully it's even remotely helpful to you. He's great in mid-low elo because players don't really know how to abuse his weaknesses consistently. I'd say the higher up you go, the harder he is to play and perform well with. I believe that Skill Capped is mostly geared towards mid-low elo players, and in those uncoordinated solo queue games, he snowballs incredibly well. As much as I love playing him, he definitely has some pretty apparent weaknesses. If you watch a player like Mango Fish piloting the champion, you can see how if you're good at the game and devote time to one-tricking Fizz, you can have success with him up until the absolute highest levels of play. I'd probably rate him A or B tier; more likely B tier if I had to be honest. That all said, not everyone really wants to devote that time to learning every single aspect of a champion, and you're probably better off just playing easier, more consistently powerful champions in mid lane (Leblanc, Ahri, Lucian, Hwei, etc). They maintain priority pretty well and are good at most parts of the game, and don't really need a gold/exp lead in order to be useful/impactful.

But there is clearly a problem when i can confidently pick Qiyana into Fizz as a silver player. I feel like the champion has no damage unless you are giga fed. And at that point any other champ would be very strong too. I can't remember the last time i lost lane against a Fizz. Every time he gets picked by the enemy team i'm like okay free lane let's go. Unless i die to him like 3 times in lane there is just no way he becomes useful, this meta and his non existent AP ratios are killing him. I would rather play any other assasin in the game, even much harder ones like Qiyana or Akali. As a fricking silver player. Yeah Fizz is weak, no way to deny that. Having him in S tier is laughable.
@@viktorgombos4975He's definitely not a champion you want to blind pick, that's for sure! He's got some pretty hard lane counters that can make getting ahead pretty difficult. Galio is a great example of a rough matchup. And it's true, if you aren't ahead of your opponents, you will struggle to end the game! But if your opponents make a small mistake and you get a few kills, you can absolutely run away with the entire game. As for his ratios, they're actually pretty decent. 90% on his E and 80%-120% on his R are both very good, and the base damage on both abilities are fine! His Q and W aren't great, but for what they are, they're serviceable. Lich Bane tends to really make up for the lack of strong ratios on his Q, since it procs Lich Bane's on-hit effect. I'm currently Emerald 2, 75 LP and have a ~70% winrate on Fizz over 75 games. Definitely pushing for Diamond by the end of the split. It's a small sample size right now, but I'm having very good success with him. I think he's even stronger in Silver where people really don't know how to exploit his weaknesses. If you ever feel like picking Fizz back up, I'd be really happy to try and teach you what I know in regards to optimizing your play and making climbing with him easier!
Sylas should remain were he is sure he is weaker in term of raw damage but AP/HP itemes are up... Rocket belt. Cosmic drive, Liandry is still OP... he can become amazing fighter, hif not mid he can smash top lane

@@1BitcoinBelieverexcept Cass can't start ring anymore. Her e alone costs 50 per cast, and with a starting mana pool of 350, that means she gets 7 casts of her e before she is fully oom, and gets afk ran down by every champion in the game.
Sure this is only level 1, but this doesn't change level 1 or 2, because those abilities cost more mana, than her growth gives her, leaving her in the same situation.
Tldr, her e costs 50 mana, her starting pool is 350. 7 casts of her e total is not enough to lane with.
i dont agree with azir being in C tier in 14.15, he will need some testing as mayhaps with the buff to range stormsurge, HOB luden stormsurge horizon azir might come back, it was a build before.

Talon's melee q dash will allow him to follow other champs like his ranged q, unless he is directly on top of the target in which case he wont dash. Also the melee q dash procs the dash rune but isnt really a dash and wont be hindered by things like Poppy's steadfast presence (W).
Poppy's W does knock up Talon when he uses the close Q but it doesn't stop the damage.
Okay, I am a Zilean OTP. I've only tested this in one game so far, but, even with the warmogs nerf, rushing warmogs -> cosmic drive feels REALLY good:
Warmongs (1000hp) + support items (200hp) + dark seal (50hp) + health rune (65hp) + kindlegem (200hp) gets you the 1500hp really quick and then you build the kindlegem into cosmic drive.
I need to test it more, but I expect it'll feel real good for Zilean if you're not too far behind, but just so much movement speed if you can get ahead.
Does Zilean's E proc the new Cosmic Drive passive? I felt it wasn't worth it to build it because the shift into continuous damage just doesn't fit Zilean's playstyle

When are you supposed to build Heartsteel on Sett? When I build Heartsteel into Overlord's Bloodmail I do no damage early game but if I don't rush Heartsteel then I'll have way less HP late game, and I always build for big W damage.
Personally I suggest u go boots first then stridebraker then blood mail and then a black cleaver, I myself don't really like building heartsteel on sett

I probably wouldn't bother with Overlord's Bloodmail without Heartsteel, at least not until the 4th or final item. I guess I'll have to save Heartsteel and Bloodmail for late-game scaling builds and build Stridebreaker into Black Cleaver / Spear of Sho'jin and Titanic Hydra, focus more on AA/Q damage instead of the math build.
I just love focusing on math-Sett with the big Ws, after mythics and Sanguine Blade were removed and Caitlyn's R had it's AD scaling nerfed, I used to build Prowler's for the raw lethality and 100-0 squishies with her ult, Sett fills that void for me... I love knowing that when you start glowing, someone's about to get 1-shot.

I'm always disappointed pantheon never gets any love 😢 like you can build him bruiser build that still does damage or you could build a assassin one shot build that even works on tanks and he's versatile you can play him mid, sup, and top but he never makes the S tier list. But naffirri is my other champ and should definitely be OP tier like they said because it is broken. Can someone explain to me how Fizz is in S tier? The champion is one of the worst mid laners in the game.
This is a mouthful of an answer, but hopefully it's even remotely helpful to you. He's great in mid-low elo because players don't really know how to abuse his weaknesses consistently. I'd say the higher up you go, the harder he is to play and perform well with. I believe that Skill Capped is mostly geared towards mid-low elo players, and in those uncoordinated solo queue games, he snowballs incredibly well. As much as I love playing him, he definitely has some pretty apparent weaknesses. If you watch a player like Mango Fish piloting the champion, you can see how if you're good at the game and devote time to one-tricking Fizz, you can have success with him up until the absolute highest levels of play. I'd probably rate him A or B tier; more likely B tier if I had to be honest.
That all said, not everyone really wants to devote that time to learning every single aspect of a champion, and you're probably better off just playing easier, more consistently powerful champions in mid lane (Leblanc, Ahri, Lucian, Hwei, etc). They maintain priority pretty well and are good at most parts of the game, and don't really need a gold/exp lead in order to be useful/impactful.
@@brianshark7338 okay i will write a lengthy reply then. I used to main him and i don't think that Fizz is a difficult champion at all. But there is clearly a problem when i can confidently pick Qiyana into Fizz as a silver player. I feel like the champion has no damage unless you are giga fed. And at that point any other champ would be very strong too. I can't remember the last time i lost lane against a Fizz. Every time he gets picked by the enemy team i'm like okay free lane let's go. Unless i die to him like 3 times in lane there is just no way he becomes useful, this meta and his non existent AP ratios are killing him. I would rather play any other assasin in the game, even much harder ones like Qiyana or Akali. As a fricking silver player. Yeah Fizz is weak, no way to deny that. Having him in S tier is laughable.
@@viktorgombos4975He's definitely not a champion you want to blind pick, that's for sure! He's got some pretty hard lane counters that can make getting ahead pretty difficult. Galio is a great example of a rough matchup. And it's true, if you aren't ahead of your opponents, you will struggle to end the game! But if your opponents make a small mistake and you get a few kills, you can absolutely run away with the entire game. As for his ratios, they're actually pretty decent. 90% on his E and 80%-120% on his R are both very good, and the base damage on both abilities are fine! His Q and W aren't great, but for what they are, they're serviceable. Lich Bane tends to really make up for the lack of strong ratios on his Q, since it procs Lich Bane's on-hit effect.
I'm currently Emerald 2, 75 LP and have a ~70% winrate on Fizz over 75 games. Definitely pushing for Diamond by the end of the split. It's a small sample size right now, but I'm having very good success with him. I think he's even stronger in Silver where people really don't know how to exploit his weaknesses.
If you ever feel like picking Fizz back up, I'd be really happy to try and teach you what I know in regards to optimizing your play and making climbing with him easier!
