Really!? hmm...I don't see it on the site. But I do see the previous outside corners for $6. I didn't get them cause I didn't like that it wrapped around to the next wall.
For anyone currently watching this…In other videos I’ve seen people have painted them after install and caulked the gaps to make it look seamless. But I still think the overlapping is too visible. I’d probably use the double sided little pieces of tape to tape the edges together underneath and then caulk the seams before painting instead of overlapping.
Good ideas! I didn't caulk cause I'm renting and wanted to be able to remove it easily, but caulking is great for those that plan on leaving it up for longer.
Question- now that it’s been a year since posting this video how has the molding held up? Was the mounding easy to remove? As a renter I was wondering how difficult it would be without damaging wall.
Sandy, there are "outside corner" pieces you can buy so you won't have a naked edge hanging there. They ocst $3.99 each on their website. Just so you know.....
Oh girl I'm sorry, I watching this because I was hoping I'm not going to have to pay thousands to put trim on my ceiling and around my windows, and I have to say... it looks terrible. It's not your fault, you did an amazing job. It's just a shit product. They should just make it out of that horrible "wood" that is often used on top of cheap wood furniture, the kind that's like sawdust glued together. This is one time that stuff would be preferable lol. Just make it out of that, hollow inside, with different variants of strength for people who are renting vs people who just want to try to make their house look decent but don't have thousands to spend. For the homeowners, a good glue/caulk it should come with. I know they essentially make that, except they're solid and actually really heavy and difficult to DIY if you're not handy like I'm not. I just got out of an abusive 6-year relationship, I need to find a handyman.
I saw a glimpse of it and I'm going to be honest that I don't like how it looks and there's no way that I'm going to invest my time and money for that. It's not the installation fault, but the product itself. I guess I'm going to either hired someone to do it or get the polyurethane type of molding which is light weight so I can try to do it my self. Maybe one room at a time. Hopefully I'll be done by the time I'm retired. Lol
I have a questionnnn, I’ve been planning on becoming an Interior Designer since I was in middle school (it’s my dream job). I’m in Grade 12 now, class of 2021 and I’m like a really shy person and becomes very nervous when it comes to presenting in front of the class. Do Interior Design course require students to present in front of the class or do they just record themselves doing it and pass it to the teacher? What do interior design students do the most inside the class?
Yup, class presentations are required but don't worry you'll get better the more you practice. And as for what students do in class, I have three videos on what you'll learn and do the first two years. That should provide some insight
You will grow out of shyness, believe me. As you get older, life will force you out of it. Presentations will be a cake walk because you will know your material.
It’s a good instructional video. However I think it would be better at the end if she showed like a before and after picture of how it looks. Another words Showing the final product show And tell. In the video we are just seeing as how you install it. Other than that it’s a great video.
THAT was my question... it looks like there is a gap between the bottom of the molding and the wall.... but it should have come with tape along that bottom edge..... ????? I guess you could use those strips that came with it or use some other type of peel and stick tape at the bottom ???
According to their website there are corner pieces you can buy for $4 each. I love it though! I think I'll do this in my daughter's room and in my trey ceiling in my bedroom! I love peel and stick stuff ❤️
Hmm...the corners pieces I saw were for wrapping the molding around to continue it to another wall. Maybe I missed it? 🤷🏾♀️ Good luck with your daughter's room 😊
i just got mine, and your video was really informative. since i don't plan on removing mine i am going to chalk them. you can also miter the ends, and put them together.
It doesn't say on the site. The way your order is by measuring the square footage of the walls you want to cover. If it helps, I got about 15 pieces in my box and they're 52" long.
If your ceilings and walls are FLAT PAINTED will this tear off the paint & drywall when you remove it ??? I've been wanting to do something like this and also do something with the walls but my walls are flat paint and ceilings are flat paint and I'm really concerned about pulling off the paint and drywall when I remove either crown molding or removable adhesive wallpaper
Great vid! I think all molding is open like that because you are supposed to end on a closed inside corner, not on an outside corner, as you did in the video. Add one more piece so that it ends at an inside corner. Or, add the molding to the entire room so the ends meet at some point.
Can you use this to frame out windows??? And if I want it permanent I could use maybe a strong adhesive. I have crown molding, but my windows were never framed out. Ugh. It bothers me so much. I thought this might be a quick fix. Maybe??? Just found your channel and love it. Thanks and I hope someone that knows about this stuff will answer me.
They listened to you! They are selling outside finished corners at $4 each! Fabulous idea.

I never tried but maybe. You'd definitely have the prime it cause the material is very slick and smooth
You could probably frame a bare bathroom mirror with this?
Definitely not. However there is a company that sells frames for framless mirror and I'm pretty sure it's removable. It's called MirrorMate.

I agree. Because of the color, it kinda makes the wall look unfinished. A gray molding would’ve looked nicer with the green print.
