I am a Stronghold Titan Main and have been since beyond light and I've always loved stasis. I always laugh when I go into a GM and everyone's like oh he has a sword yeah until I walk out in the middle of all the enemies and rez you. To me it feels like the ultimate space knight feel.
I used to love that exotic for the same reason. But playing more with glaives made me realize how fun and strong they are. They also have a 97% DR shield, so it feels like playing with stronghold but with a glaive instead. I’d strongly suggest you to try vexcalibur + wormgod and the subclass of your choice. Vexcalibur gives overshield to you and your friends, and you have the glaive shield on top of that. Wormgod will stack fast and easy with vexcalibur and it stacks with it’s exotic perk (vexcalibur melee does more damage when you have an overshield). With this setup your glaive melees will hit around 80k-90k and it also buffs your swords. When playing with Banner of War titan I feel like a true paladin. You will provide overshield, healing and woven mail to you and your friends. I hope you have some fun with it as much as I do!
I’ve been playing with a similar build, icefall mantle is so good right now! I like he fact that there is some flexibility on the weapon of choice here, but your loadout is one of the most solid ones that I’ve seen so far. Thanks so much for sharing!
I’m a Titan main, and I love these new changes to icefall mantle. However, doesn’t banner of war do all of this without an exotic? Woven mail is 40% damage reduction, each pulse heals you and your team, and you can still wear whatever exotic you want.
Unfortunately yeah, Banner + Fray is pretty much just a strictly better (or at least much easier to play) form of an Icefall build. Although Behemoth does have a a fragment that allows you to have up to 8 stacks of Frost, equating to 36% DR, just short of Woven. So between a Banner + Fray Strand build or a Icefall + Rimes Stasis build, it kinda comes down to choosing your favorite flavor of crayon unfortunately. I can’t really speak for Stasis-heavy Prismatic Icefall builds though, I haven’t tried one yet.
I gotta be honest with the void overshield buffs especially, way too many ppl are sleeping on peregrine greaves for strikes and lost sectors. They just delete champs and if they don't insta kill you can use a finisher after. Void overshield actually allows you to tank now as well. For stasis I prefer hoarafrost to icefall. They're very similar but hoarfrost gives you a wall that can block dmg and you can then later shatter it for frost armor instead of immediate frost armor. A lot more helpful for team play especially rooms with less cover. go to build for anything with champs is almost always greaves though.
@@GeekMediaCentral haha yeah they're very difficult to deal with, especially with multiple simultaneously attacking! Now try Onslaught Salvation solo master LOL
Why is Salvations grip grenade launcher not mentioned? Not only can you get frost armor stacks with its catalyst you can tackle overload AND unstoppable champions with its ability to create stasis crystals and the overload grenade launcher perk.
Might try this but swap shield throw for shiver strike. Same Unstop stunning that's spammable when Transcendent but frees up Consecration for another option.
Speaking my mind with how everyone is posting just onslaught builds and how they aren’t viable in any other harder content. This will be the build I go with
Yeah. I try to stay positive, but some of these build guides felt disingenuous. All they had to say was "Onslaught build," and then people would be better off.
Can't recommend the Recurrent Impact Machine gun enough. I use Subsistence and Headstone with the origin trait Land Tank making us even beefier. The thing goes crazy.
Oooh hell yeah 😎 I love all the suggestions you guys are throwing out! There are so many good options out there for stasis weapons! A possible 30 Res and 15% damage resistance from Recurrent Impact is amazing 👏
@GeekMediaCentral yep, used to be able to glitch GOS areas and a few other raid glitch soft spots for sure, and stasis generation is off the hizzy when paired with icefall and other stasis exotic armor ✔️
Hey thanks for the vid, what about Wicked Implement as a main weapon? It's available for purchase at the tower and seems to also synergize well with the current season~
I still believe the rework was an overall loss to Titans. We lost subclass flexibility, x4 surge, slow on cast, and overshield w/ 67% dr + frost armor for the ability to move quicker, constant x5-8 frost armor stacks, and freeze on cast, with no subclass flexibility.
I see where you're coming from. At the very least we have something different to build craft with. Maybe newer seasonal perks will synergize even better to make up for the losses.
This build is new which makes it exciting, but in all honesty the prismatic consecration knockout build is still significantly better. Strand titan is better even. If you find the build fun use it all you want, but all these RUclipsrs are acting like this some new meta breaking build, which simply is not the case.
Syntho + Consecration is amazing. I don't want Bungie to nerf it. But, their Stasis and Void improvements are steps in the right direction. As I said in my video, I think 1 or 2 more tweaks could bring those up to par. For now, I do think Icefall Mantle builds provide a solid alternative to Consecration spam. And, that's good enough for alot of us Titan mains who would like to play something different.
Buried bloodline is really strong because of its intrinsic Devour perk AND weaken with Catalyst. I haven't been able to get it to drop from Warlords so I can't test it. But I think you're definitely onto something!
I find the healing from icefall mantle is very unreliable. Once you reach max stacks of frost armour you can no longer be healed from the perk until you lose your frost armour stacks. This is hard as you are always getting shards. Instead, they should keep the exotic functioning as how it is but once at max stacks, give a constant restoration x1. This would make it much better.. otherwise i find scars a much better source of healing.
In this regard, I think Icefall works best on pure Stasis Titan better than Prismatic, since Tectonic Harvest will still heal you when you activate Icefall as if you picked up 5 shards (Or 8 with Rimes which is roughly half your HP). But yeah, Icefall only gives you a smidge more healing per shard if you’re not maxed out, which sucks. Although if you have Whisper of Rimes, are somehow at 1 hp, and have no Frost (which, are you even playing the game if you’re in that scenario?) popping Icefall will theoretically be a near-full heal because of its own healing bonus, on top of your now 36% DR. I think the REAL kicker is that Icefall’s ability counts as picking up Stasis Shards for the sake of Tectonic Harvest’ heal on shard pickup, but not for the sake of recharging your melee or the Whisper that improves your grenade regen.
Not sure if anyone else does this, but the artifact is basically a bonus so I leave it blank when initially testing my builds. It helps me to see how well the core synergy is and if it can still perform without the buffs from the artifact. Also…Bro had enough of yalls shite builds and decided to basically explained how to effectively synergize your build as a whole. Listen up!
I like the video and the effort but not my cup of tea. Healing is pretty scarce , in my opinion it works better with just stasis not prismatic. Im sure it's just me , i just can't make it work , but ill try some more :D

Me too🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳
@@anthonysestito7704 my Bungie ID is Kaise7en#1325 if you ever want to play.
That's my favorite build on titan as well. It made the liminality gm a joke
True titan my friend they say that build isn’t meta we say “yes” 😊
Came for the thumbnail, stayed for the wonderful explanation of the build and your knowledge of PVE, particularly Champ coverage
Yo! Thank you so much that comment made my day!
2:12-2:28 this guy gets it

Yeah icefall and stasis in general are in a great spot right now. Thank you for the kind words!

Issue with it I think is its strand only and its strength use to be the melee high damage and suspend
Both being nerfed

I had to give up my green Titan since they nerf Woven Mail from 15 to 9 sec
Super sick, but feelin inspired to get outta bed and make this build!
Glad you like it! But don't overdo it. Get some rest first!
Can ikelos still be picked up. Thought I had an old and a new one but must have deleted them.
I believe banshee has been selling variations of it throughout his rotations.
Great build vid mate, love the deep discussion and explanations 🎉👏
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
@GeekMediaCentral I did, will always give praise to well made vids, keep it up 😊
Great vidieo. seems like you have been doing this forever, D1 vet 10 years of wathing guides, love your style. spot on.
Wow! That might have been the nicest comment I've ever received. Thank you so much! Have a great day!
Great video Javi! It's been a long time since a video actually made me want to play my Titan, this one did though! Well done!
Thanks gramps! Yeah, we finally have some decent options outside of Synthoceps. Stasis and Void seem pretty strong right now!

Thanks for the tips! I'm still experimenting with all the new stuff.
Great Scott! The Mr. Freeze build......everybody CHILL 😎 👌 subbedddddd
Lol thank you! "Let's kick some ice!"
My man has been cookin up a nice build! Awesome breakdown and I like that you focused more on the challenging content to further cement your points!
Thank you! It took a while to make it playable in master content. Those champions are no joke when they're 30 levels above you lol.

Mine is similar but I’m using salvations grip amazing damage output for me
Oh wow! I've never seen that GL before. That sounds like a blast to use!
It was meh before, but the catalyst means permanent free frost armour because of rimestealer.

That would work really well! Try crafting that tonic that buffs primary ammo stasis weapons too!

wouldn't buried bloodline be useful as the exotic since it gives you devour for free?

At 6:04 what's that kinetic exotic with a symbol on it?
It's just a token for an exotic Quest I have yet to complete. It's old lol. Maybe from witch queen beyond light expansion.
I can’t with the shield throw….. I just can’t 😂
That man made me look like a fool in front of my fireteam! 😆
No knockout in the aspect list? You have my attention lol.
Lol yeah, I couldn't get rid of consecration and still beat master content. But at least we don't need knockout!
This is a prismatic titan build not stasis..carry on
Fair enough 👍

Stasis does have better durability. But don't you find yourself lacking damage for champions and bosses?
I have nothing against consecration but if you start your video slaming on consecration builds and then using consecration in your build seems stupid
Fair enough 👍
I hate stasis
Can't fault you for that. Everyone's got preferences.
Im not using shotgun in PVE , not even on barrier. And if I play onslaught, I always quit when I need to fight Cabal😂
Lol hey... I respect that 💪
Imagine being a player that only plays titan..yikes.
Lol we out here!
