Identifying risks associated with climate change and managing them to reduce their impacts is essential. The Climate Ready Estuaries publication, “Being Prepared for Climate Change: A Workbook for Developing Risk-Based Adaptation Plans” is a much needed guide for conducting risk-based climate change vulnerability assessments and developing adaptation action plans. The workbook helps organizations to identify, analyze and prioritize their climate change challenges. In developing an action plan, the workbook guides users to address their most pressing problems and identify potential adaptation actions to lower those risks.
