The pleasure is all mine, guys, I loved your set and thought you were great. As much as I enjoyed Fabien Mary's set at Sunset Sunside just down the street that night, I wished we'd stayed to hear more of your playing. I downloaded both albums yesterday- am hoping for physical releases one day. I very much hope I get to see you guys again, please come to England to play- Warm regrds to the entire band! -Steve (PS- Look at the video posted the day before this one and you'll see that I promote you guys at the start of that clip as well). Best of luck with your musical career!
Excellent. This reminded at times of Markus Stockhausen (especially his 'Wild Life' album). And, I guess, it can all be traced back to 'Bitches Brew'. Good to see younger musicians continuing in this tradition. Thanks for sharing this with us, Steve.
Yes, I can see both in it. Jon Hassell, King Crimson and others have also been mentioned. I've fallen in love with these guys, would suggest downloading their 'It's Alive' album, which this half-set draws from.
thank you! I just had noticed the new craptoob trend of recommending me AI written and read stories. This is a welcome vibe and addition to my morning and coffee
Yes, they're excellent- I really recommend their album 'It's Alive'- most of the tracks they played that night were from it and it's very reasonably priced as a download on bandcamp, the link is below the video. Very sweet guys too, charming.
@@audigerandrew5131 Thanks for that! I remarked to my friend Mark, who was with me, how we liked the use of bass synth- it worked well but never felt cliched or merely a 'replacement' for bass guitar. I used to have a Korg MS20 from 1981 to 2007, great machine. Some of the synth music on my channel in the theme tunes featurs the MS20.
Thanks guys - though that looked like the back of a minilogue … not surprised of course with the crossover of sf and synth geeks. Hawkwind, SF and synths - this channel is sure in my zone.

They're good and it made me want to listen to erik truffaz again 🤩
A holiday where I am. Much appreciated over a morning coffee. Shared. Thanks Steve and The Big Tusk.
Thanks for sharing, the BT boys will be pleased. Download 'It's Alive' from Bandcamp, you will not be sorry!
@@outlawbookselleroriginal will do. I followed this vid up with another live set of theirs while cleaning up. Good stuff. Have a great time France.
Great music! I’ll check them out on BandCamp🛸
Please do, 'It's Alive' is excellent and not expensive.
Always looking for new music to read to. Gracias
Marvellous!
Yes, they're great, right? Do download 'It's Alive' from Bandcamp, fantastic album and very reasonable price.

These boys are the real thing! Glad you enjoyed them.
Pretty nice, man.
These guys are delightful.
A great addition to the channel.
(Even if, to tell the truth, I don't understand it.)
I think they're only jazz in the sense that free improvisation is part of what they do. They're as much rock in my world. Lovely chaps!
Really good ! Kinda like mellow electronic sound of Boards of Canada & jazzy improv of late King Crimson // combo
I Like this

@@outlawbookselleroriginal Thank you Andrew !
@@holydissolution85 Steve, old chum!
@@outlawbookselleroriginal 😁My mistake, Steve ( It appears that you were "Andrew Stevens " for a while, in my mind 🤣)
I am Vladimir from Croatia BTW
@@holydissolution85 No problem, Vladimir! I am very keen to visit Croatia, it always looks amazing!
Very nice Stephen. Us synth nerds would love to know what gear they were using…
I'm a synth nerd too, but I'll have to look on my big screen TV. I'm sure one was a Korg, though. Used to play myself.
Hey ! (Keyboard player from thé Big tusk speaking) I'm using a Korg minilog through FX pedal, and a moog minitaur for the bass
@@audigerandrew5131 Bonjour! Avez-vous des concerts prévus dans le région de Genève?
