You're not alone girl. Many face it everyday in Germany and across Europe. As a matter of fact, racism is everywhere and it will never go away unfortunately. I too have lived in Germany way back 2004 till 2008. Im an Indian and we are amongst those who are more ridiculed and hated. Ive experienced that in Germany. For no fault of mine. I was only a student, i just came for 2-3 years and eventually i would go back. I never wanted to work or immigrate but still sometimes i was made to feel so unwelcomed. However, not all German people were like that. Some were very loving and gentle and they are atill my friend's. Look at the positive side of everything and enjoy your time there. Good luck.
Well, you handled it well. I've had the same experience. Some British treated me badly because of my German background and some Dutch Afrikaaners treated me badly because of my English background. In Germany I was mistreated by a Turkish immigrant. But as for actual Germans, many of them like Asian women and marry them. I got along all of the the Chinese I worked with but there was one guy that for some reason just didn't like me.
I'm so sorry that happened to you here. I don't get why immigrants would hate on other immigrants either. I mean, if they hate people of different races, why do they move to a different country? Many of these people even hate on Germans despite living in Germany. That's like me moving to Iran and saying 'I like it here, but I hate all those Iranian people here'. Unfortunately, there are also some fellow Germans that do stuff like this, but I think this depends a lot on where in Germany you live. I'm against all racism, but especially racism against Asians is something I don't understand because I think Asians are among the immigrants that cause the least problems here.
Dear, sweet, beautiful Vietnamese girl, it broke my heart to watch this video. Nobody should have to endure such mistreatment, and I'm so sorry that you and other Asian people are made to suffer like this. I wish I could give you a big hug, and make your pain go away. Please know that this American guy of English and German descent really likes Asians, and thinks the world is a better place because there are so many people like you in it. Stay strong, and don't let the haters get you down.
