    I feel, has always been criticised throughout his career as a player from neutrals. Looking back, he was apart of historical teams, was a massive part of clubs he helped with his goalkeeping ability. He was vital.
    Ben is the people's champ and most definitely a great individual.

      @@cameronwhyte3681 Are you kidding me lmao? The manager of a football club puts his own player in the hospital. Read that out loud and tell how it makes sense.
      Firstly why is he playing and secondly anyone who's played sport at a high level knows you don't give it your all during training(as training is about improving your technical ability, not emptying your tank and killing your body) nor do you risk injuring a fellow teammate.
      Though I guess i don't "play ball" and putting your own player in the hospital was infact the right thing to do

      @@andymccreight3175 actually they have to give it their all in trainings otherwise they wouldn't improve. But of course not in the rooney 50/50 way. My coach was very strict about these type of challenges during trainings (he even gave us penalties for it) but in every other aspect we had to give it our all

    I remember seeing Wayne at Old Trafford, I couldn’t believe what I was watching at the time. He was unbelievable. He gave 100% effort 100% of the time. Miss players like him, generational talent. Doing great with management too, very loyal & talented.

Younger generation doesn't know that Rooney was on the same level as Messi and Ronaldo in his younger days. Prime Rooney was unbelievable and absolutely Phenomenal. Many only remember his performances when he was past his prime. His playing style made him decline early. He used to play through injuries, cover every part of pitch, always chased the ball and was played out of position to a midfield role.

    I feel that the documentary was good for Wayne's image. I've always been a Wayne supporter so it was nice to see him in a positive light. I would have liked Wayne to speak about his return to and subsequent departure from Everton plus the period in the US. Was an enjoyable documentary. Thnx.

    Think Wayne seems to have the right mix of care and tough love to his players. I think what he is doing at Derby is winning him a lot of friends ..those who judge will always judge ..often it’s easier for people to look at other’s faults than deal with their own.

    To me Ronaldo is not a better player than Wayne, yes he's had a better career and achieved a lot more, but sometimes these things are circumstantial. Not only is Wayne a lot more naturally gifted, but he's such a complete player, he could run, dribble, score incredible goals, defend, tackle, drive a team and an amazing passer of the ball...
    Take nothing away from CR7 who by the way will go down as one of the best goalscorers to ever grace a football pitch, but Rooney brings a lot more to the table FOR ME
