Nelson is a great ship! The only difference between the HMS Victory Camo and HC is the Victory camo has a higher silver bonus rate (50% vs 35%). This plus the 50% silver premium ship bonus (vice the normal 25%) makes Nelson my go-to silver grinder (she's my most played ship on my main).
Love the Nelson. Remember the grind years ago to get it… 350k is a lot for a t7. Then Rodney comes available for £15.. which is arguably a lot better 😂

Got it 2nd day it was out, like 4-5 years ago, for free XP. Nelson is my fav T7 bote. Top 3 overall. There's a reason I'm able carry roughly 100,000,000 silver at all times. A decent game with Victory camo + top 2 silver boosters+ fleet silver boost+50% bonus video = over 1 million silver.
Great video Soulfire. Too bad your team let you down. I use reload instead of turret traverse. I don't get turrets knocked out very often. I also run apcs on CMDR Nelson. I seem to get more fires. Inside of 9 km I keep ap in the guns. I know you were watching for the dd. Can't wait for you to get more games on her. I thought I had wasted my xp until I watched Slai47 play Monarch. I definitely understand that. I have a few ships that I absolutely hated at the beginning.
I have a lvl 12 jelico on St Vincent, and I am grinding Tovey but he’s only lvl 8. Would you put Jelico or Tovey on St Vincent when both are max?
Tovey for sure. APCS+ is borderline busted on the STV.
