Lion isn't necessarily a bad ship. It just suffers from the same problem that most of the other tier 9 ships do and that is that that they simply cannot compete with tier 10 ships. There are very few tier nines that can

@@worldofwarshipsblitzwithde1559 no matter what equipment build you run on a BB, it’s not going to work every game. Running concealment helps you get into a good position in the early game, it can help you go undetected in the mid to late game if necessary. Sometimes I forget that shooting your guns all game isn’t the best idea. Having that low detection can help you get into a stronger position when needed. The biggest thing is taking advantage of staying undetected early in the game to see how the enemy team is moving across the map before you engage. It’s not for everyone but trust me it works more times than not. I’ve gotten games where I was able to use the concealment during the entire game and other games where things just didn’t work out. Even running a steering/accel or double steering on some ships isn’t going to help depending on the match. I have a great example of when the surface detection build works in a perfect situation.

@@TheSoulfire73 I get that the concealment works, and I’ve tried it. Maybe it’s just me, but I’m constantly getting focused with it, even when I’m in a good position or disengaging. I like steering to dodge incoming shells as much as possible along with torps. I’ll keep trying with it, maybe I can get some better luck

@@worldofwarshipsblitzwithde1559 I’m a recent advocate of BB concealment on some BB’s. I don’t run it on everything. I like it on my Italian and both British lines.

@@TheSoulfire73 I can understand the British and Italian, but I’m seeing concealment on a GK and Monty and Yama and Schieffen….doesnt make sense

@@worldofwarshipsblitzwithde1559 There’s an argument to be made for the German BB’s. Get into a forward position undetected and ambush someone in secondary range. Obviously NA with CV’s and too many DD’s can make that difficult.

@@knockitdown20 I haven’t seen it when I play Repub. The only time I really see that is one the ships with a low base reload time.

@@TheSoulfire73 to me it's because tier 8 is, well Tier 8. It's freaking sweaty and sometimes even a solid ship is just not worth it when you have a CV anchor squad one game, then team atlanticos the next, then team try hard with DZPs and Borodinos. The meta at tier 8 has been needing a balance pass for a while to bring the tech tree into a shape it can compete

@@Slai47 tier 8 can be pretty sweaty but I don’t see that many OP ships anymore. Occasionally you see the worst offenders out there but you don’t get the tier X DD spam. It’s a catch-22. Play tier X and pray for low DD count or play 8 and hope no one is running a OP toon.

@@lesvickroy6537 I think it was a blitz pass ship (as was Rodney a while later), so probably quite a few. But while Rodney is decent, Collingwood is just shockingly bad. Even completing the battle honours isn’t easy as you actually have to sink some ships 😂

@@raven2kf a higher level commander would help out KGV. I think it’s one of those decent tech tree ships that kinda gets forgotten due to the amount of British premium ships at the tier.

@@TheSoulfire73 absolutely, happy to see it finally evolve, hoping to see the main WoWs Blitz RUclips revive as well, it seems like it's coming starting to thaw out now, which is a great sign in my opinion

@@Slai47 I’m stoked for this one. From the outside looking in, it feels like we are going in a very healthy direction for the game. Is it too little too late? Time will tell.

I don’t know what that’s about. I’m going to have to wait until tomorrow when the update hits to see what that changes.

@@raven2kf I complain about all AA at tier 6. When you can get matched against tier 7 CV’s, it’s practically worthless. Most of the tech tree BB’s at the tier are mediocre at best. Even the premium ships there are just ok. Good tools to learn on but that’s about it. Tier 7 starts bringing out more interesting ships to play

@@TheSoulfire73 you aren't wrong, but aircraft are rarely a big threat at that tier, you'll occasionally come across a good Kaga or Graf Zeppelin player but it's rare. But against tier 6 carriers Lizzie's AAA is surprisingly decent

@@lesvickroy6537 I’ll do video on what I’m trying to accomplish at home one day. Things got turned upside with unexpected changes so I’m running around like a madman trying to get everything done around here.

@@tabzNE I can’t wait to get through the line again so I can run Conqueror with a proper equipment and commander build. It is a fun ship to play every now and then but I think it needs a little help in the mobility and concealment stats.

@@raven2kf No argument from me. Raw DPM is the only thing the ship does well. Definitely needs some concealment and mobility buffs to make it playable.
