Conqueror can be really good to play imo. I'm still contemplating my choices in playing the Lion, but the short-fuse AP can slap anything under 8KM. Grinding there really stinks though
Conqueror is fun imo. Mods i went with are dispersion, acceleration and concealment. Built my regular commander for reload which on right conditions reload becomes 12secs and run her mainly with AP
@@tabzNE I can’t wait to get through the line again so I can run Conqueror with a proper equipment and commander build. It is a fun ship to play every now and then but I think it needs a little help in the mobility and concealment stats.
Conqueror is still the weakest tier 10 battleship by a huge margin and needs a ton of help. it inherits every bad trait from all of the other battleships at its tier. Republique's terrible armor protection, Yamato's slow speed, maneuverability and turret traverse, Montana's inconsistent accuracy, low velocity and floaty shells. And GKs terrible AAA and fire and flooding resistance. On top of it all the legendary mod does NOTHING. raw firepower is the only thing Conqueror does well and that is ONLY because of it's rapid reload skill. Even with it's excellent HE shells you will struggle to delete destroyers due to your poor long range accuracy and abhorrent maneuverability and turret speed makes you helpless against close DDs. Awful defense makes you a damage pinata to the enemy team and, once again, your horrible speed and maneuverability means you can't disengage or reposition. I've tried every build and commander and although I've had a few spectacular games in her, as a whole, this ship simply doesn't work.
@@raven2kf No argument from me. Raw DPM is the only thing the ship does well. Definitely needs some concealment and mobility buffs to make it playable.

Beat me to making this video. Conqueror while being one of the worst BBs in the game is still slept on due to the dpm she can push out.
@@Slai47 The key difference is Tovey. I don’t ever think I’ll be able to put him on the ship. I’ll never have enough XP to move him around.

If you’re on this line stop at the tier 8 Monarch. The Monarch is a very good BB but it’s downhill after that.
