Lion is NOT a bad ship. I thought it is the first 5 games. But then it's consistently 80k - 100k games. How u play it? If enemy team don't have AT LEAST 3 dd, forget about your HE. You have decent dispersion + AP pen hard + the worst turret angle & turret traverse speed => you have no business getting close. So stay afar and snipe cl, bb. You'll get alot of module and citadels. Remember, except there's a dd yolo-ing you, 90% of the time it's not worth it to use HE.
@@ThienNguyen-ot4wo I agree that it’s not that bad of a ship. I have a 75% win rate with 50 games played. I am keeping the ship for more testing. I need to try Lion out in ranked battles and more random games.
@@TheSoulfire73 well, for its characteristics, the Lion falls into support ship category imo, and it's best to stay silent and introvert lol. So you want the enemy to have as many distraction as possible. Lion wont survive most 1 vs 1 let alone being focused. So i think rank is not as optimal for Lion 😅😅.
In my opinion as someone who's living the pain of the Lion, I'm not enjoying it. It's terrible, and I also need an explanation about something. I still don't agree on the concealment on a BB. Yea you got a 9.5KM surface detection and you use it to get into a good position, but for what? just to get shot at to oblivion? I'd much rather run steering in slot 3, but if it works for you, it works for you, I just haven't adapted with a concealment mod on a BB
@@worldofwarshipsblitzwithde1559 no matter what equipment build you run on a BB, it’s not going to work every game. Running concealment helps you get into a good position in the early game, it can help you go undetected in the mid to late game if necessary. Sometimes I forget that shooting your guns all game isn’t the best idea. Having that low detection can help you get into a stronger position when needed. The biggest thing is taking advantage of staying undetected early in the game to see how the enemy team is moving across the map before you engage. It’s not for everyone but trust me it works more times than not. I’ve gotten games where I was able to use the concealment during the entire game and other games where things just didn’t work out. Even running a steering/accel or double steering on some ships isn’t going to help depending on the match. I have a great example of when the surface detection build works in a perfect situation.
@@TheSoulfire73 I get that the concealment works, and I’ve tried it. Maybe it’s just me, but I’m constantly getting focused with it, even when I’m in a good position or disengaging. I like steering to dodge incoming shells as much as possible along with torps. I’ll keep trying with it, maybe I can get some better luck

@@dustinbaxter4521 I kept the ship to test out in ranked but haven’t had the time to try it out there. It’s a rough ship to play for sure.
Falling Joe(Delawere) is more worse than Lion and Izumo.
@@savvi-o1088 I didn’t mind Delaware too much. The front turrets were decent. The rear twin turret…. Not so much
