When I was 16 I went to a mutual friend’s house with a buddy and he was a bass player. Smells like teen spirit had just come out and this guy strapped the bass on me and showed me how to play smells like teen spirit. I went home that day and told my dad I needed a bass. Been playing bass and guitar for 32 years now all thanks to that one experience that showed me I could shake the room and sound just like the musicians I loved. Best thing that ever happened to me.

This was beautiful :) My favourite bass are the rickenbackers no contest. But I’d have to sell a kidney to afford one. My only bass is a Fender Mustang with a PJ setup. I’m a guitarist first, so the short scale makes me feel like I’m an absolute bass master until I play a full scale

Currently my favorite bass is the Squire Bass VI I acquired recently after watching your video on them. Been woodshedding a ton of Cure tunes, and have come to appreciate them much more as a band and Robert Smith as a musician as well.
That Westone...that is pure gold. A friend of mine had a Westone Thunder Bass II,it was from two previous guys that played when they were young. One day he went to the garage where he kept the bass and it was gone. His thougts are that his older brother sold it,but I think my friend did and regretted immediately
